God, I'm loving Highschool of the Dead.
It's like Night of the Living Dead, Left 4 Dead, and any other zombie apocalypse media...meets manga/anime. Better than it sounds.

I just wanted to know what kind of reeds you used during marching band. Brand and strength.

AltoTenorBaritoneNever marched with a Soprano. I currently have some weird Chinese reeds that I plan to use if/when I get my Soprano. They're 2.5 as well.

Cool, thanks. I will probably end up doing Alto for Marching, and Bari for the Jazz Band. I'm going up to a music store later when I get my books, so I'll pick up some Alto reeds to start practicing with

I'd suggest trying the different reeds out and see what works best. So many different factors determine what makes it work for you. See if they'll let you try before you buy.

Damn, Jazz reeds are always expensive. And 2 and a half strength should be fine, and Rico are the ones that my BD gives the reeds, so that will work. I have some Sax experience, but that was all the way back in 8th grade. But I have reed experience with my Bassoon, but hell.

I'm pretty good with the middle strength reeds. They're pretty basic, anything else is for specialty players, or someone with a weird embouchure.

Yeah, my friend who plays Tenor uses like 3.5. Then again he has the teeth of a beaver.
