Gene wasn't at all phased by the monkey's gun and the whole thing that was goin on. He was just a little irritated that the damn critter would aim a gun at a fellow mercenary just cuz the guy had a knife on him-- even after he had said that he was sorry.

Sighing, the blond-haired, face tatooed man looked on as the librarian and the technician walked out of the room. After they were gone for a good five seconds or so, Gene asked. "Are you sure they are extremely necesary for this organization? It seems to me they might end up killing someone someday. I mean, it's a kid and his pet monkey with a gatlin gun..." You had to admit... it did sound kind of unorthodox to let a kid and a monkey run rampant within the headquarters of highly advanced galactic mercenaries.

Regardless of whatever the captain answered to that, he would ask her one last thing. "So, cap, when are we leavin? Whatcha got there? Our gear, I presume?"

OoC: Thanks. =D. The f** is still talking smack, but behind my back. He's so lucky that if punched him again i'd be suspended for 10 days and it would be on my permanent record. But just wish me luck Nov. 6 that i do well and don't get sent to court. =D

"Jaa, 'ere ya go ah and Cyrith yer comin with, we need the numbers." She tossed a pack at Gene and Cyrith, hoping they would catch it. Ike had already been slipping, specaiily designed sling pack carefully around his right wing. "and If I am correct...Kairin should be in the portal already." She smiled briskly before stepping forth towards the portal. "Well then lets go." She notioined for them to follow before steppping through herself, Ike following closely behind her.

Ryanna over-viewed the report carefully before nodding in Content. Everything seemed as it should be, although the part about the missing operative was a little unsettling. She tore her attention away from the report back to Captain eva with a halfsmile. Her squad was advancing very well, perhahps she should give them a more interesting mission this time.

"Very well, I thank you Captain SunTzu.....would you like your next mission now or later? Believe me this one....is a fun one."

Adjusting the now more charred pilots cap upon her head, Karin wearily eyed the large gaping vortex hole that suddenly sprang to life, forcing everything flash the familiar blinding light before dulling into a steady smoot glow where her comrades now stood. She noticed Ike, Xinrie, and two others she had never seen before. "Mph...Looks like they are here now Saun." She turned away from the arrivals to the ovver-sizerd, six foot tall standing amber wolf that sat hunkered low next to her. The wolf seemed to grunt in response, she simply smiled. "Hello Stalker!"

Brian grinned, and he fell back into his beanbag chair. The small crammed room was comfortably warm, and all the servers kept busily buzzing and humming.
"So, Librarian, the Vaio Laptops are ready? All checked through and ready to roll?"
The Librarian lifted his furry black hand, and grinned meaningly, as he presented the last laptop to Brian.
"Wonderfull. So, just a quick review on the statics. P2P-network initiated,so the laptops automatically get the newest software from our servers?"
"UGH!"
"Well, fine then. Password protection is cool, and the little pin with the RFID-chip is set in motion, so that if the RFID-chip is out of bounds, the Laptop just locks, and we have got the full tech-support of the entirelaptops?"
"Ugh," said the Librarian, and opened a bag of chips.
"Well, then there is only one thing left to do....."

20 minutes later, they had organised a large cart, and had stuffed it with all the laptops. They now had the job of Santa and his faithfull grumpy helper, so he put on a green cap, The Librarian, because of his overall beardyness, got the red cap, and he whupped out his PDA while the Librarian started to push the cart. Each captain of a squad would get a visit, starting with these that would run in his way.

Anima took a step forward. "Captain, back off. I already said fine. I just said that this ability could help us do any mission, plus, I am better than you were back then." He grinned. He drew his sword and then spunn it around in his hand a few times. "Infact I think I am better than you are now."

His right hand snaps out at the pack and grabs it, his left hand sliding under the pack to support it; it was quite heavy, after all. Curiosity struck him regarding as to what was in the bag, but he'd leave that for later. Right now, he'd just follow along with Xinrie and Ike, carrying the pack without putting it on just yet.

After going through the portal, he looked around at his surroundings. From the looks of it, this place seemed somewhat modern, so maybe he'd be able to use his guns.

He was eager to know when they would start fighting and getting into the action. Again curiosity peaked it's head at those thoughts.

"Later. I have squad issues. As you've seen in the mission report, dearest Yeti has upped and vanished on us. I haven't heard from Twitch or Forte since they killed Christ, and I think there's one guy who never even reported for work. I'd like Phalanx to have more than two active agents before accepting a...ah...'fun' mission."

Brian had been a bit busy, but he seriously has had his fun. Each squadleader had been left the laptop with a training video on the main desktop, and a note saying that they would have to keep the pin nearby if they would want to use the thing.
He only had a couple of laptops left, and he was in that special mood, so, he gave the Librarian the call. The Librarian knocked on the door, and to reflect that change of mood, he let out wat seemed to be a jolly old "ugh, ugh, UGH!"

He opened the door, and grinned like a lamp in a horror-movie. Two women he could give gifts too, and both of them looken somewhat nice. Well, one of them was captain Eva, so he saluted a bit, grinned, and handed her the laptop in the standart edition "we were too poor and too annoyed to look for real wrapping paper, so we took tabloid press instead, and much duckt-tape".
The other wrapping paper... well, it was special edition. slightly pink, with preinstalled software and all the extra stuff money could buy. he wondered what that scary old lady had done to deserve such honour. He carefully admired the silklike pink wrapping paper, the bow on top of it, took both hands this time, and gave it to the scary women who had him in an eyelock. he grinned, shrugged, scratched his itchy backside, reached behind the door and pulled brian in, who looked somewhat resisting.
"Ugh, Ugh, Ugh!", he said, and grinned his best grin, showing much white teeth. maybe one of them would get attracted......

Brian smiled a bit, and rubbed his burning ear, while shooting firey rays at the Librarian. He just has had to come in because the Librarian had pulled him away from his safety by his ear.....
"Well, hello commander, Captain; My trainee and me were just delivering these laptops, and we thought we might give one of them to each superior officer. So, if you have nothing else for us to do, we just vanish, and do our stuff. By the way, Ladies, this is the Librarian, Librarian, you already know captain eva, the woman next to her is commander Ryanna, if I remember right. "

The Librarian bowed, and grinned even more. Oh s**t, he thought, ooooooh s**t.

ooc`` Huuuuuge time lapse =]
Many months later on the streets of a modern city at dusk had begun to awake. While people walked on the sidewalks and looked around one person who had looked in the dark alley could see a person sitting against the brick wall. The business man walked closer to the person who was no other than Link injured. The man placed a hand on his head and with a reflex Link had a gun pointed at his face, the normal reaction? The man immediately ran screaming for help. "Christ... How the hell did I get separated and lost on the first mission." He sighed and groaned standing up having more facial hair than usual and not to mention the hair on his head seemed to droop in front of his face. "Ike...!" He coughed and cleared his throat again, "Ike!!!" Walking out of the dark alley Link began to fire his gun three times in the air hoping someone would get the message. "Ike, Xin, Ryanna?" And again Link fainted firing off his gun for the last time. People walked over the man who laid face up sleeping. "Gah... Another one." One lady would sigh and kick away Link's gun. "Mommy? Who's Ike?", and the little boys mother would respond. "He's a drunk dear pay no attention to him...", suprisingly the little boy responded after passing over Link's body. "Daddy calls people failures sometimes..."

Dazing off, and looking into "space," Cyrith wasn't exactly prepared for the prepared for the pack. Feeling it slam into his chest, he instinctively wrapped his arms around it, but momentarily lost his breath. Dropping to a knee, he gasped for his breath, then slowly got up when he recovered it. Still wheezing a bit, he managed a quick "You don't throw things at people all the time, do you?"
PostPosted: Sun Oct 21, 2007 6:46 pm

" Greeting Rubiks...and Cyrith I could start ya know, throwing sharp pointy objects at you, would ya like that better?" Xinrie raised a brow slightly at Cyrith as she discarded her jacket for a much lighter-weight cape sort of object. "Urkal is a desert based city, the second we leave the coolness of this alley, its gonna get real hot real fast....Saun C'mere Rubiks heres your cloaking device." She had begun to dig through her pack, hurridly portraying things out, they needed to hurry thier extra time was running out. Dragging out a tiny rune-like gem, she clasped it around a gold chain and tossed it in Kairin's direction. Rubiks and Xinrie needed it because of the quaint little fact that the thieves would want nothing more than to kill them on sight from the last feuding 'war' they had gotten into. She withdrew another similiar red gem and slung it around her neck. "Activate Please." The gem immidiatly sprang to life, glowing faintly. Xinrie's once light brown hair shimmered into a vibrant red color, her grey eyes faded into deep green pools and her tan-like skin turned pasty pale. She quickly wrapped her new red colored hair into a tight, rather sloppy bun as Saun lumbered his massive six-foot tall self to her side. "Okay, this is a mission therefore we use only our codenames I will only be reffered to as Stalker, Ike as Guardian and Kairin as Rubiks, Gene yer codename shall be Arsen, and Cyrith yers will be Rapier, is that alright with you two? or would you rather I thought of something else?" Xinrie folded her arms for the moment, waiting for them to reply.

ooc: Welcome back Link x]

Ike's slightly pointed ears perked themselves up, because of his race senses were usually higher than others. He heard that familiar....yelling voice, it sounded faint but it was no more than two miles away. He glanced in Xinrie's direction notioning that he'd be right back, before heading off in it's direction. "Dang, I thought he had gotten killed or something like that."

Cyrith thought about the name, and what it could imply. Rapier, quick and painless death, most of the time. Or he could be wrong, but let's go with the in-brain explanation. He shrugged, looking at the Captain. "Don't mind the codename, but you start throwing sharp pointy things, and I may not live very long to enjoy it."
