Min: Thank you for the cheer, sweetie, it's better than I could have done and I actually was on the cheer/drill team in elementary school, so that's kinda sad for me. Never doing it again. Drove me nuts. Suze: I have been doing that, but I don't understand the process really. I apply for them and everything and never hear anything about it again.

Well... It's not Mother's Day yet so I haven't bought anything lol. But tomorrow my dad and I are going shopping and buying her new oven mitts because the ones she uses right now are in rough shape. Then I think we'll try and buy her a movie or two that she's wanted. And maybe some special chocolates lol.

That's cool Min. (:. I still have no clue what to get my mom. Every year she claims she wants nothing so I have no ideas. You can only buy your mom jewelry or clothes so many times...

Suze, my mother says that too, but I know that I have to get her somehing anyway, or she'll be offended. xd So, I give stuff that I know she'll like. It's usually not jewellery, or clothes, or flowers. (Alhough, my mum loves to garden, which is why I got her some flowers to plant this year.) Last year, I gave her season 1 of a show that she likes. I've also given her figurines of her fave animals before. 4laugh xXBrilliant ShadowXx I think that my brother and I bought our mum a dimond necklace, earings, and a chocolate basket. Hehe. We havn't gotten the flowers yet but I'm sure we will soon smile . You THINK you bought her diamonds? Shadow, you'd know if you bought diamonds! exclaim Do you mean that you think your dad bought them and is giving them to you and your brother to give to your mother? There's no shame in that, for I know that you're young, and my parents always did that for my sisters and I on holidays. They still buy gifts for my sisters to give, but I have to pay for my own gifts now that I've moved out.

Hey guys, I have some really bad news. This past Thursday Scottie was in a really bad wreck with the family he is living with (except the mom). The two in the front seat, his best friend Carl and Carl's gf Steph, both died in the crash. Scottie and the older sister Lauren are in critical condition, and the youngest sister was ok for the most part. If you go to my journal you can read about how they are, but I just wanted to let everyone know.

For Mother's Day...make a card? They always appreciate something homemade, even if it's brownies with 'Happy Mother's Day' scribbled over in icing.
Oh no! x__X I hope the survivors are alright. I'll go read your journal :l I'm really sorry about the people who died. It sounds like Scottie is going to recover, though. (The injuries are rather frightening ,__,) Best wishes.

Slytherin, in HP there's a famous pair of beaters from a professional Quidditch team named Gideon and fabian Prewett. Even though he isn't born yet, I hope you had a great Mother's Day!
I hope that EVERYONE had a lovely Mother's Day! biggrin Mine was nice even though seeing my grandmother in the hospital was emotionally difficult.
Don't forge to vote for your fave entries in the Magical Mother's Day Contest! whee
