Combined with Owle's internal sense, and the sudden shudders within the earth they traveled over. It wouldn't be too hard to find Knights and Jean, arguing at the gate.
"Look, a running jump and we're over..."
"And we'll break our necks! Let me just blow it up."
"We'll have the Shields and Spears on our arses faster then you can blink if you do that Jean!"
"Fine, but if you drop me, I'll blow YOU up..."
Knights sighed and kicked some dirt up. The tremors grew as he did so.
"C'mon, we're gonna have to make a running jump." The sound of a motorcycle in the distance made him twitch. That wasn't good...
Jean scrambled up onto his shoulders an held tight, even as the wings unfolded again from his back, loose until he needed them. Jogging down the street, he spun around and faced the wall. And muttered something under his breath...then took off.
"Three..."
A crack formed under his feet and chased him on his way.
"Two..."
The crack, which was beggining to look like a crest in a wave, grew and bulged.
"ONE!!"
The ground shot upwards under his feet in a small pillar, catapulting the two up the wall, Knights in silent concentration, Jean with a yell of fright. The wings snapped open and they drifted down slowly.
For the first time there was a low chuckle from her companion. Wildflowers scattered as he set off a good distance from the city.

"Hang on to something."
Kicking the stand back up he throttled the Harley hard, the back tire squealing loudly as it swerved hard to the left, before riding up the sidewalk and through the crowd of passerbys.
"Woah!"
"Auugh!"
"Hay a*****e!"
Manuevring the tight quarters, Vahn rode on through, trying to stay in the same directon as the golden lines. His greaves began to smoke slightly, as he began building heat.
Soon blackened flames burned off their soles and the tires of the Harley went aflame, leaving nothing but a slagged trail behind him as he rode onward, causing a few Shields to jump back from surprise.

"Whoa!"
Owle decided that hang on to something chiefly meant Vahn, and as the bike took off faster than she'd ever imagined it could go she clung to him for dear life, her eyes squeezed shut so she couldn't see whatever it was they were about to crash into. They were bound to crash into something, she was sure of it, with the wind going by so fast and the flames burning beneath them and all the screaming...
There was just one thing Owle thought to herself, something she repeated over and over in her head.
Thank you, Flare, for burning me all those times so I'm not afraid of fire. I just wish you had flung me at high speeds a couple of times, too, then maybe I wouldn't be so AAAH! What was that?
That was the rush of air as they passed very, very close to something or someone. Owle didn't dare open her eyes to see.
Just focus on the snakes, focus on their mind sigs, focus...
She could feel them before her, hot and glowing with magic as her snakes trailed after them, first up into the air and then back down again, tongues flicking out to taste the scent. The two stuck together; very close, if Owle's senses were any indication. They were close, very close, moving away but not quickly enough.
Then something went whooshing right by Owle's ear and she winced, pulling herself as close to Vahn as she could.
I should never have suggested the bike.

RAH SHOUYIN WAS IC.
Or err, strolling calmly through Latent, after that crazy chase had left him a little dazed. He'd noticed two familiar faces, and certainly that motorcycle had confirmed who one of them was, but they'd sped past much too quickly for any sort of mid-noon conversation over coffee. Well, not coffee, maybe tea, or some other caffeinated beverage; Shou couldn't stand coffee.
Anyways, yeah, he was walking, browsing some s**t.

"Mister Shouyin," A soft and quiet voice would speak behind the man, followed by a feminine one, "We have an invitation for you."
There were two people behind Shouyin, one man, one woman, both wearing black, pale as ghosts, and with silvery-white hair.

"What the f--?" Shouyin spun around, snuck up on by this pair unnervingly easily. The whole Sokugoku thing was supposed to assist in these situations, but for some reason he hadn't even heard their steps, though the blame for that could be placed on the rest of the crowd, muffling his senses.
Thoughts better left for later on though certainly.
"Invitation for what?" He looked the pair over, green eyes idle.

With a flick of her wrists, Grace produced a black envelope between her index and middle fingers of her left hand and offered it to the man.
"To a tournament." Providence answered plainly.

"Erm, alright." Shou took the envelope, sliding it in his back pocket for now. He was already set up for another tourny, but he assumed the timeframes wouldn't intersect or anything, what with time on Gaia being the way it was. He'd heard of some people being two places at once, and not because of abilities or anything, but simply because.
Crazy stuff.
"All the details in the letter? I'm too lazy to ponder the right questions to ask."

"M'hmm." the woman nodded as she turned and went off into the crowd. The man made no sound as he too turned around and followed after the woman. Within the envelope would be an invitation to a small private underground tournament with no publicity whatsoever, virtually unheard of, there was but only promise of bloodshed. It included rules and directions to the place it would be held at. ((Didnt feel like re-writing rules and stuff over and over again, so I got lazy and just stated what was on it. Thread here with information. http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14435433 ))

"Alright then."
Shouyin continued off in the opposite direction of the pair, looking at some swords.

She stared into her paper cup of iced tea. Saiya didn't like iced tea, but the dockside cafe was a place to gather her thoughts and plan. Or plot. Plotting meant she was probably going to do something illegal, and Saiyamoru had never been the most honorably law-abiding citizen, even when she lived in Strata. So. Her money would be running out in a few days--it was more expensive here than she had expected--so she needed a job. What were her options? She tipped out an icecube onto the tabletop and started tracing patterns on the fake-wood with it. She had little experience doing menial work. Waitressing would probably get her fired within a day or two. Theft was an option; she had been one of the best burglars in Strata. But she didn't know Latent like Strata, she reminded herself. She didn't know which alleyways were dead ends and which led to choice hiding spots. And the guard here probably wasn't as susceptible to bribes. She wasn't going begging. It was a matter of pride. And then...she glanced out the window, even though the Stadium wasn't visible in the distance. Saiyamoru had been caught in her share of scraps back in Strata. Nothing near the intensity, of course; most of the attackers had been armed with broken bottles and knives, if armed at all. But she was agile and fairly strong. It was always a possibility.

Quote: Miss Annilis who really enjoys keeping her yard tidy, has run into a bit of a problem, she has been overcome with patches off grass all along her yard that she cannot seem to do by herself. One torn sheet of paper. He had to stay in the general area for a while... he needed to be there for certain people. Armed with his travelling gear, Lazenca sought out this... Miss Annilis with the problematic yard. He asked around the shopping and residential area, looking for this woman and keeping an eye out for a house that looked as if it needed some help.

Owle Isohos There would be no physical sensation when Lucind touched the snake...her hand, in fact, would go right through it. But the contact allowed Owle a mindlink to her. "Alright."There was a little bit of mistrust in Owle's mental voice...Vahn wasn't doing so great, and she wasn't a warrior. What if this person wasn't Vahn's friend? What if she were laying an ambush? "Don't worry...I'm not going to let him run off before he can heal up." Then softer, because Owle was thinking it to herself, unintentionally broadcasting it, Self-regeneration, huh? So that's why he always seems to heal so quick after being beaten half to death...It was difficult to fake sincerity, or anything, really, over a mental connection. But it had been done before. "Vahn never mentioned your name. I'm Owle."It was a test, of sorts. If Vahn recognized the name, fine. If he didn't...well...Owle didn't really think that far ahead. Nor did it actually occur to her that it would have been easy for a telepath to get the name of one of Vahn's friends. She was sort of desperate right now...she didn't know how long she could last, supporting Vahn like this. And she didn't know how long he could, without treatment. So when the magpie rose up, Owle followed. [...] "Hurry up!" she sent to the psionic, desperation overriding her mistrust. "I have no idea how much farther I can carry him like this, and I'm sure walking isn't going to be good for him right now." I'm sorry, got distracted.... Alright, we'll hurry! You can also take a break when you reach one of the smaller streets.Again, Owle would feel Lucind's attention drifting off, for the Half-Siren turned to the blue haired man next to her, while she let the little golden snake simply hover close to her hand: " Step on it..." " Sure. You're paying for any damages...or funerals," Larhien answered, a grim grin on his lips while he sped up the black hummer, which willingly evaded all obstacles and also had no problem racing through the outskirts of the plains, where the streets became less made up. Uh, and I'm Lucind Varhetel. - You can tell Vahn he still owes me a drink for crashing my ribcage...The woman felt Owle's hesitation and mistrust. But then it occured to her that many people knew what had happened during the Heaven or Hell tournament's fights, thus she added: ...and that Denise and her staff had a great dinner at 'Feimurgan' a couple of weeks ago.((@Owle: Lucind and her brother don't communicate on a telepathic way, but they're using their mother tongue, hence the italic words.))

[Sting - Desert Rose]
Everything was painted black.
He was staring up at the sky with wide eyes, looking at nothing but sharp monochrome clouds. Even Owle's words came out black and heavy. The sensation of being carried was black.
Paint it black.
"..D...Damn..." He felt drunk. He felt exhausted. He felt sorry. He felt weak. He felt anger.
He felt black.
The ******** I doing...the hell am I going...for? He wanted to shout out Owle's name.
But his words came out black and crashed right back down his throat, while his right arm continued to burn.
I'm being.. burned by my own.. blood...?
