Elena chuckled at Dante and tapped her flask and her shot of fire whiskey. "I got plenty to quench my thirst, and I don't see much point trying to kill myself going shot for shot with someone gulping down straight everclear. Hell if I wanted to die that bad I'd do shots of paint thinner instead, alot quicker" She looked at Camory as he took a small sip, and began to choke on it, and sighed. "well all things considered its probably better your not a big drinker, you make less bad life decisions that way" she said tapping her synthetic leg. "remember kids if you decided to make it your goal to try to reinvent greek fire, don't do it while your drunk on moonshine" she advised, chuckling a bit. When Segarus pointed out Basili the young girl let out a small yawn and cozed up to Elena's leg more. "ah swings that way huh? and here I thought the marriage proposal was just drunken rambling" she said reaching down and petting Basili while everyone showed their hands, cussing under her breath every time someone got a better hand than her, which was every time. "yeah well I wouldn't call a straight a miracle hand when everyone else is pulling out hands like these, but don't worry, Lee aint fancy with the cards like Ring Master or Bilbo is, though it might be that he's just alot subtler about cheating" she replied to Dante


Lee chuckled a bit as Dante came and sat down, making a remark about the hand he had allready put down. "allready showed my hand boy, and there aint no miracles to be had in these dusty old cards, just faint memories of lady lucks embrace" he said, remembering all the bar fights he'd caused by how good he used to be at cards. This deck brought with it alot of like back in the day, but no a days it felt like the spark was gone out of em. He poured everyone, sans Camory, another round of shots. He eyed the strange rabbit creature (Mokona), and kept the bottle by him out of the things reach. "I saw how you downed that bottle of wine like you weren't even tastin it. I aint about to throw away good fire whiskey on a gluttonous rabbit, might as well pour it down the drain for as much good as it does me" he said, taking offense to the things bad attitude. Here they were trying to have a nice time and she goes trying to make the poor kid feel bad. "now I all ready told Euphy twenty times not to let any animals on the table, and I like her, I don't even know you, so you better get while the gettins good" he said to the annoying little thing. He looked over at Dante and nodded "I'll be sure to deal you in next hand" he assured him



Isa chuckled a bit at Olivia "9 years? me?no. I've only been around about 3 or 4 I think. Just the circus was up 9 years before I got here, meaning its been around a good 12-13 years" she corrected. When she pointed out she liked her performance Isa blushed a bit and smiled. She was actually pretty modest about getting complimented on her performance. Being told the show as a whole was good, but having herself singled out caused her to get a bit flustered. "thanks, its really nothing big. I mean I can do riskier stunts because I can snap and pop my body back into place if I mess up, other than that its really nothing special. Really the secret of being a circus performer is finding what your good at, and trying to manipulate it into looking as impressive as possible" she explained. "So I'm sure anyone could do it if they tried hard enough, so don't sell yourself short"

Camory chuckled nervously and scratched the back of his head. "guess I'm not one for drinking after all.." he said, kind feeling like an idiot. He watched as the rabbit came up and took the rest of his drink, then mirrored Penelope in wondering what Olivia saw in him. At this point he's heard that so many times that he just blocked the little creature out completely, and tried to pay attention to something else. Suddenly the words "bisexual" and "marriage proposal" ringed in his ears and he glanced over to see what the heck they were talking about. However when looked over at Segarus he immediately noticed her eye changing red. "hey Segarus are you feeling ok? I think your powers might be slipping a little" he told her, a bit concerned. He didn't know if Segarus was the kind of demon that went beserk or not, but if she did that would certainly be a problem.

"....wait..... this recipe's in metric!.....oh crap. Olivia! Help!"

Lucy scoffed at the glass Lillian had poured and opted to grab the bottle and start downing it. "maybe your right. I mean if you can find someone who likes being around a constantly bitching chain smoker, then why can't I find someone who likes psycho girls who hit them?" she said between gulps. Immediately she went to draining the bottle, and didn't stop until the full bottle of absinthe was empty. A dreamy look came over her face, and she started giggling. "you know what Lily your right? I just got to go out and keep swinging...(fit of giggling)...get it? because I swing my bat around and go bonk bonk bonk" she said, her head swaying back and forth as she seemed to be really hammered at this point. Perhaps deep throating a bottle of absinthe wasn't the best idea. Suddenly Lucy leaned forward and placed her hand of Lillian's "you know I like you Lily, your cool and fun, and you know how to have a good time....but...." she said, her eyes suddenly became less hazy and more scary looking. Her grip on Lillian's hand also began to tighten "Like I said, the more I like someone, the more I have to hit them" she said, reaching out with her bat and trying to swing it across Lillian's temple. At this point she was to drunk to have any sort of reservations about hitting one of their guests, plus they were out in the middle of the forest about ten minutes away from everyone, so in her psychotic mind it was an opertunity she couldn't pass up. "you said it yourself I don't have to change right? so that means you'll accept me for who I am!" she started to shout gleeful as she tried to beat her over the head with her baseball bat.

























Red smiled, well the tiger equivalent of a smile, and nuzzled Melody again, showing her he didn't really mind. Euphy smiled at Penelope, the little girls enthusiastic response lifting her spirits again. "oh thank you so much sweetie, that makes me so happy to hear" she said. She nodded in agreement with Kin, thinking it was a great idea to take them off and play, plus it didn't seem like this was a good place for the younger/more innocent members to hang out, what with all the drinking and dirty talk going on.

Kin smiled and nodded at them both. When Penelope walked up to him he took her hand and helped her up onto Red's back with him, her sitting infront of him. Even though she was a good 4/5 years older than him Penelope was still shorter than Kin by a few inches, and Kin actually thought she was a little kid like him.

Euphy chuckled a bit, thinking the two kids were cute riding ontop of red together. She looked over at Melody and helped her up from the table. "well if thats settled lets go then!" she said happily, leading them all out of the big tent around the back. There stood a few other scattered tent, and another big one about half the size of the big top in the center, obviously the practice tent.

"Well as long as you don't mind then please show me your tricks" Melody replied to Red smiling as she asked sounding really interested in seeing what Red could do while they followed the group

Lee raised and eyebrow at Tosen, then motioned down to his own hand, a straight 2-6, meaning a 2, a 3, a 4, a 5, and a 6. That put the count of threes at 5, and a deck of cards only came with 4 of each card, which meant the boy was cheating. "you gonna tell me where you got that 5th three from?" he asked sternly, clearly not amused. He took another shot of fire whiskey and sighed, waving it off "well I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say it just slipped in somehow, but I aint forking over money to a dirty hand, second highest hand is the flush, so I guess it goes to you white" he said referring to Camory. He slid over a portion of the money, keeping in the grenade and the rest from everyone over anteing, that way no one would have to put in any money again, except for himself and Dante. Lee reached over and took out the 5th three and flicked it away from the table, and rechecked the deck again before shuffling. "you in Red? if you are ante up and we'll set you up with a hand and a shot" he said, refering to Dante. Lee dealt out the cards to everyone including Dante.




Elena shook her head seeing the card mix up. She wasn't so convinced it was Tosen who did it, maybe Lee had been stacking the deck and forgot to take them out for the game, or maybe he just didn't think he'd get caught. Either way she wasn't getting paid so she didn't really put to much mind in it. She took her cards and sighed " 'fraid this is gonna be my last hand, got....things...I need to check on" she said a bit cryptically.




Isa shrugged and waved it off. "hey no biggy, your incharge of everyone else right? so I'm sure you got alot else on your mind" she said looking over at the others drinking and playing cards. "sorry about Elena and Lee. They're nice people but...they have alot more mature hobbies, and they're not really suited for entertaining younger people you know? So they just stick with what they know" she said. She nodded as Olivia stepped out for a bit. However when she returned, Isa had somewhat of a concerned look on her face. "hey I was just doing a quick head count of everyone, and I noticed some people stepped out. The little one and the pink haired girl went with Kin and Euphy, so I know they're fine, but the red head, the one who seemed to like smoking. She went off with Lucy. I'm not trying to make you worry for no reason but....that might be a reason to worry" she said quietly to her. She knew well that Lucy was dangerous to just about anyone under normal circumstances, but to see her disappear with a student and three large bottles of alcohol in the middle of the night shot up warning flags in her mind. "I'm not exactly sure where they went, but I think I might have an idea" she said, starting to stand up from the table.

Camory continued to watch Segarus concernedly as Lee dealt out the cards. He broke away for a moment to look at his cards, and discarded three to draw three new ones. "two pair, kings and 6's" he said, alot weaker than his last hand, but still not all that bad.

"....wait..... this recipe's in metric!.....oh crap. Olivia! Help!"

Lucy grunted in frustration as he first swing missed, and her second was interrupted by Lilly grabbing onto her. "dammit. I just wanted one.... little...hit" she slurred as another Lillian came out of no where and grabbed her as well. At first she thought she was seeing double from the alcohol, but it was clear from the nuzzling against her cheek that it was real. Suddenly a smile spread across Lucy's face as realization hit her. "I see" she said, sounding dangerously sober. Suddenly she flexed her muscles and easily broke the two lucys' hold on her, sending them reeling back, one of them knocking into the sober Lillian as she ran towards them. Lillian may have superior strength compared to a human, but Lucy was an ogre, amongst the top 5 strongest races as far as brute physical strength went. "I understand it now. You can multiply can't you? which means that I can hit you as many times as I want, as hard as I want, because you can just make more of yourself....thats so amazing Lilly, your just what I needed all along" she said raising up her bat and swinging violently, and much more accurately, at one of her drunken bodies, trying, though not particularly hard, to keep track of the real one. After all if she killed that one then her fun would be ruined right away.

(if anyone was curious what the top 5 strongest races were, here's a convient list *note this doesn't include gods, magically enhanced strength, or special cases. This is just the average strength that naturally occurs within members of that race*

Euphy smiled and nodded at Penelope as she took them into the practice tent. "this is where we practice and work on our acts. Its not as fancy as the big top obviously, but it does its job. Did you two want to see a trick me and Red have been working on with Kin?" She asked.

Kin smiled seeing how anxious Penelope was. When she gave him a heart warming smile the boy smiled right back just as happily. It was nice to finally get to hang out with someone his age for once. Sure Euphy was closer to his age than the others, but she was still a teenager, about as old as the other students, so he still had to treat her like and older sister. He couldn't help but hug Penelope as they rode onto of Red.

he wrote out on his notepad. When Euphy offered to let them get a sneak peak at their partner routine Kin smiled and nodded enthusiastically.

"Ah s**t!" The sober Lucy pushed the drunkard one off of her (Which was the original Lucy), as the Lunatic was about to take a swing at the other drunken replica. Tearing the necklace around Lucy's neck off, she summoned the Lock and Chain, and tried to snare the Lunatic's bat. Neither Lucy's knew what happened, though the drunken replica had at least enough senses to step back away from the Lunatic. "Dammit, these two drunkards are going to get themselves killed! Lucy, snap out of it! Think, dammit!" The sober Lucy was speaking towards both Lillian and the Lunatic; they both needed to snap out of their state. Though the Sober Lucy wasn't sure how fast the Original Lucy could sober up, and she also wasn't sure if the Lunatic was drunk in the first place. And while the Sober Lucy was trying to keep the Lunatic from killing either Lucy's, the drunken replica ran up to the Lunatic again, grabbing her around the waist. She was just going for another hug, but she tripped on her way down and made it into a clumsy tackle. "Crap, Lucy get out of there!" Again, the Sober Lucy made no attempts to specify who. The drunken replica, however, heard none of it, and mumbled incoherently as she wrapped her arms around the Lunatic's waist. She said something about a pleasant scent and was salivating.

"Yes please" Melody replied now excited to see the kind of tricks Red could do now that she knew he wouldn't mind performing for her.
