J a y w i n g I might be easy to fall for...
He was thoroughly furious with the powder white she-cat. It was her first time hunting, she was overly excited. Maybe I should cut her some slack. Thinking over the situation, it was rather funny. His eyes softened with amusement.
...but I need someone to knock me head over heels.

M a p l e l e a f'Tis the evening calm and clear, The rustling of the maple leaves, The whisper of wind through the grass...══════════════════════════════════════════ [Mapleleaf's emerald gaze hardened as she peered at Jaywing and Saltpaw. A low growl emitted from her throat as she stood and padded over to Jaywing, almost nose to nose with him.]
"There is no need to be rash about it, Jaywing. There is no apprentice that has never missed a rabbit or a piece of prey, so just lay off. Saltpaw would learn better if you treated her more gently," Mapleleaf meowed, her voice hard.
[She turned and padded back to Cloverpaw, taking her place at his side once again as she watched through narrowed eyes the training session.] ══════════════════════════════════════════My soul has settled, at long last, The shuffle of the breeze sweeping the moor, Is all the sound that I hear. O w l t a l o n“Belief is not a matter of choice, but of conviction.”____________________________[For several long heartbeats, Owltalon remained silent. Then, as his mate groomed his pelt, he turned to her, golden eyes actually displaying an emotion: concern, and flashing with it. He slightly flattened his ears, not out of fear or anger, but worry.]
“Rosewind…Has there been anything that you've…hidden from me lately? Perhaps a secret of some sort…?”
[He tried to approach the question slowly. Blurting out what was on his mind would surely be nerve-racking for Rosewind, he just knew it. So now he was trying to probe her thoughts gently, a sort of sixth-sense telling him that he was right.]______________________ . .

We were given Four paws to walk, two eyes to see, two ears to listen... Saltpaw[Saltpaw tilted her head slightly and peeked out of the corner of her eyes, only to see Jaywing looking at her. She expected the worst but was wrong to do so. He didn't look mad anymore. She straightened herself and offered up an apologetic smile.]
"It won't happen again." [She promised with a determined nod. It was unlike her to show her excitement, she feared that Ghostkit was rubbing off on her, but in the end she wondered if that was a good or bad thing.] But why only one heart? Because the other was given to someone else. For us to find...

C l o v e r p a w“Fail with honor rather than succeed by fraud.”_____________________________[Cloverpaw watched his mentor pad back to sit with him with a dazzled expression.]
Whoa, I don't see Mapleleaf like this quite often…But she is kind of right. Anyway, now we can watch their training session!
[His emerald eyes glittering, the young tabby tom curled his tail at his paws, straightening himself up to look more like his mentor, who doubled as a rolemodel. Cloverpaw watched Saltpaw closely, eyes darkening as he remembered a time, short as it was, when his sisters were happy and innocent like her…When they were a family…]
(( Ignore his sulking, lol. :3 He's just really protective and concerned for Dice/Spadepaw. > > ))________________________

M a p l e l e a f "Stand up for what you believe in; otherwise, you will be trampled on by those who don't."____________________________________ [Mapleleaf flicked Cloverpaw with her tail, twitching her whiskers in pride. She let out a soft purr, her emerald eyes shining in pride at her apprentice. She locked her gaze on the training session, sliding her claws in and out of their sheaths, flicking her ears.] ____________________________________________

 .:: Rosewind ::. Life.
Oh, StarClan. I thought we'd be in camp when I told him. Her pelt grew hot and sticky. She went outside, to retrieve a mouse. Coming back in, she murmured, "I didn't think any of this would have happened. If Doveflight hadn't had slain Willowstar, Berryblaze, and..." Her voice trailed. How am I going to say this? How can I put this into words?
It will make you, or break you.

Jaywing flashed a wink to Saltpaw, as if to say, "Let's show them how it's done." Ignoring Mapleleaf's frustrated scorn, he stepped up to Saltpaw. "Can you do this with them watching?" He whispered in her ear. "Or would you rather not have an audience?"

We were given Four paws to walk, two eyes to see, two ears to listen... Saltpaw[Saltpaw chuckled at Jaywing's wink and responded with a slight nod. It was time for her to stop fooling around and take it seriously.]
"If there's no one to watch, then there's no one to get jealous." [Saltpaw whispered back. She kneaded the ground with her paws but at the back of her mind she hoped that she hadn't actually scared off all the prey.] But why only one heart? Because the other was given to someone else. Just say it. The calico she-cat sighed, her sides quivering. Owltalon. Uhhh... I'm... Going to have kits." She finished quickly, and quietly. Nothing had ever been so difficult to say. Why was that so hard to admit? Is it the circumstances? The situation?
It will make you, or break you.

''Why can't I stop loving you..''__________ [Excitement flooded her.] ''Of course! I would love to!'' Joypaw meowed. ''But for now,we'll talk. Tell be about yourself.'' [Joypaw smiled. She liked talking.]__________

O w l t a l o n“Belief is not a matter of choice, but of conviction.”____________________________[And at that exact heartbeat in time, the world came to a halt.
Owltalon's eyes stretched wide open, jaws parted as if to speak, though no sound could be produced. His gaze quickly darted several times from Rosewind to her belly. He closed his jaws; opened them again, ears flattening. He looked like a kit being shown the Thunderpath for the first time, and being shoved across it.]
“I-…Are they mine…? I mean-…Did I…?”
[Nervously trailing off, he was at an utter loss for words. Emotions flared within him, conflicting emotions… He was beyond overjoyed to be a father, but scared out of his wits for Rosewind. She couldn't deliver kits out here in the moors! The massive white tabby felt cold shivers pass through him. His eyes clouded with worry and fear.]
“…I'm…so happy, believe me, I am thrilled, beyond it, but…How are you going to…How far along are you?”

"True. True." He chuckled, at his apprentice's remark. His tail was flicking with anticipation. The sun felt hot on his back, and he knew it was sun-high. "When chasing a rabbit, try to predict it's next move. They'll try to swerve, and lure you in the wrong direction. So you get too much momentum, and can't turn with it. Stay light, your feet flying off the ground. When you get to be close enough, gather your energy into your hind legs, and spring. If you get the distance right, you should be on top of it. Another way, is to reach out, and snag it's back feet. Thus causing it to trip. Take advantage of the stumble and go for the kill. You know how to kill, correct?"
...but I need someone to knock me head over heels. ((I feel like Jaywing is Mufassuh (Spelling Error) teaching Saltpaw~Simba how to pounce.))
