Eloysio sweatdropped as he watched Schwarz disappear from the mindspace. "Was hoping he'd be the one to pass word... Alright then." He closed his eyes and put his fingers to his temples to focus on telepathic communication.

Kratos, Zelos, you actually need to cast your spells on Rhone. They have to reach into the mindspace, and he'll transmit it for us. Hurry!

Kratos blinked out of concentration, stopping his spell upon Cinkel's body. "Did you get that, Wilder?" he inquired. But wasting no time, he got into starting another Healing Stream spell, this time directed where he was told to---at Rhone.

MINE SHAFT OUT OF MORLIA, UNDERGROUND
Jason trudged along in the dimly lit shaft. Normally, this would be a pitch-dark shaft, but fortunately he was carrying a lantern (that he crafted himself). Darkness. He shudders. He is terrified of darkness. Speaking of which, his torch was burning out, and he was running out of fuel for it... He trudged a little faster.
Jason was ridiculed by all the other dwarves back when he lived in Morlia, mostly because of his fear of darkness. They always said that all real dwarves don't mind darkness because darkness is so common underground. Tired of this, Jason decided to take his business elsewhere. No dwarf would take him seriously now, so he had no choice but to go aboveground.
He knew that this was a safe shaft, cleared of all monsters long ago. Even so, he had his chains out and ready to use. He had been using these in combat for years. He was apprentice to a fine warrior and smith, who taught him to fight with chains and also taught him some healing artes.
Finally, after hours of mindless walking, he saw the door to the surface. Only dwarves and certain others could pass this door. He tinkered with the lock and put in the password, and the door opened before him with a grind of gears. Exiting into the dazzling sunlight and closing the door behind him, he observed the new world he found himself in.

Zelos nods and continues his casting.
"Healing wind's an area effect spell..Rhone's in my radius."
Inside the mindspace, Rhone's body began to glow as he stood up. he points his hands towards the threads connecting Cinkel and Malphas as wind energy from his right hand and water energy from his left move towards the threads.
"Eloysio....do what you have to do."
PostPosted: Tue Nov 16, 2010 2:01 pm

Eloysio held out both his hands toward the cluster of water and wind healing mana, the both of them glowing with the same teal-colored aura that they were combining into. He shaped it with his will, turning it into a thin stream and leading it to directly connect with the sorcerous lettering that was holding the threads together. He hoped this was what was intended.

The healing magic was absorbed by the threads and letters, ripping them from Eloysio's magics that carried it, like someone snatching an object from one's hands. The letters disappeared as the threads healed together. The threads pulsed of the colors red, green, and blue and disappeared from vision. At this very moment, Cinkel's spiritual body jolted up into a sitting position. He looked as if he had been sleeping for days. The boy then looked at Eloysio, then at Rhone and smiled, Sorry for the trouble.

OUTSIDE SECRET MINE SHAFT TO MORLIA
Jason looked around him. He was in some kind of forest. Absentmindedly walking forward, he tripped on a large tree root. Getting up and looking at it, he ponders...
"Eh? This root weren't here before..."
Suddenly, something knocked him back into a tree. The root was moving, and a larger one swung in a follow through at him. He cunningly sidestepped and readied his chains. His assailant appeared to be a large tree creature with glowing yellow eyes, though he couldn't tell what it was. It was clearly not friendly.
"Ergh. Yeh'll not be humiliating me any further, laddie/lassie/thingie! For the honor of the Ironheart clan!" With a roar, he jumped and swung his chains with a burst of chi energy concentrated into flames. "Molten Havoc!"
The beastie's loose branches and some of it's arm began burning. With another mighty swing, it knocked Jason back again. Grunting, he went behind a tree and gathered the particles of earth around him... "Center!" ...Then he dashed out to the side and around the monster, swinging his chains with deadly strokes all the while. Some were blocked, some hit... Finally, he focused and unleashed a decisive strike ("Sonic Blast!"), knocking chunks off the monster's head and knocking it down. It stayed down.
Jason walked away, whistling an old Dwarven tune.
He found a river, and began following it, hoping it would lead to civilization. He also checked which side of the rock the moss grows on... You never know.
Eventually, he came across a bridge. Across it, he could see a house. To the left of it was a headstone for something or other, to the right a pen with a strange green and white animal, like some oversized dog... Anyway, it was getting late, so Jason decided to ask the owner of the house if he could rest overnight. After he knocked on the door, someone opened it. Jason, expecting a human, was looking up. After a second, he realized that the owner was around his size. In fact, it was a brown-bearded dwarf. "Yes? What can I do for ya?"
"I was just wonderin' if I could rest here for the night."
"Of course, lad... Dwarven Vow #2- Never abandon someone in need."
"Well said. Me name's Jason of the Ironheart clan. I'm lookin' for some civilization in these outer lands. Could yeh point me toward some?"
"Well, if you cross these woods to the southeast you'll probably be able to reach Iselia. Nice place. Me son used to go to school there... What are yeh standing there for, lad? Come on in. Oh, since you introduced yourself... Me name's Dirk."

Humans. Right here, doing things. Often, humans seemed to instinctively attack monsters like Token. Needless to say, she had the element of surprise, and would use it. A few lumbering steps with its rear legs, and its heavy tail lashed out at the nearest one, some male whom seemed attentive enough to at least notice the dragons initial approach. Token roared, attempting to intimidate them. If they ran, it would be easier for Token to not have to deal with them. Though they did scare away her meal...

A young ninja leaped energetically from tree to tree, avoiding the creatures of the dark forest. The edge was close by now, and after another leap, Shiuza soon realized that there were no more trees to land on. Flailing in midair, a squeal of surprise ripping from the young boys lungs, Shiuza hit the ground on his bottom at the edge of the forest, luckily cushioned by the flowing scarf underneath him. Rubbing his bottom as he got to his feet, Shiuza rummaged through his small bag to make sure the delivery reports were together. With Sheena the current Chief of Mizuho, Shiuza reported to her, currently as the delivery boy, getting her the reports and gathered intel that was a necessary part of Mizuho's activities. Ensuring the delivery was there, Shiuza started off across the fields, wishing he were skilled enough to just "poof" like the older ninjas and be there in a more efficient manner. The small purple garb and colorful scarf flowing behind him made him a running bulls eye on the field, and soon, Shiuza noted the approach of monsters. A small bark trailed behind him, the monster wolf behind him reminding him that he wasn't going to fight alone.

Eloysio sighed in relief and habitually adjusted his monocle. "It was no trouble at all; what matters is that you're alright. Does anything more need to be done, though?"

At this point, the duration of Kratos' Healing Stream spell ended. He folded his arms and looked back over the demon boy. Sheena was still observing the others taking care of him, wondering what exactly was going on. While she had been seeing Lyra off, she didn't catch the fact that everything was pretty much happening in the mindspace. Colette was still sitting close by the unconscious Azriel, holding her hand but also concernedly looking over at the scene nearby. The three of them could pick up the sound of Cinkel's breathing, however.

"He seems to be getting better. Perhaps we should take him and Azriel somewhere safe to rest now?" Kratos suggested.

With a nod of agreement, Sheena replied, "Yeah, we shouldn't dawdle here like sitting ducks for long. There are monsters wandering about and they could close in on us."

Zelos' spell ends as well and he picks up on the comments made by the others.
"huh....that worked, eh?"

Rhone can hear the conversation outside as well...though faintly.
"I think we're done here...Cinkle, I'll see you on the other side. You too, Eloysio. later!"
With the tip of his hat, Rhone walks back through the red and black door he came from and wakes up back in the real world. He slowly stands up and begins popping his joints, starting with the knuckles, then wrists, shoulders, and finally his neck, which makes a loud CRACK noise as it pops.
"Ahhhh..muuuch better. Was gettin' a little stiff, there..."

Cinkel nodded at Rhone as he left, That should be it, Sir Eloysio. All I need is to rest now, preferably not out here on the field. He smiled and yawned, Would you mind apologizing and thanking everyone for me, Sir Eloysio? I'll buy them all dinner.

Outside his mindspace, Cinkel's breathing returned to normal. He no longer seemed to be in any danger.

Lyra turned around at the growling noise to find a dragon. Her eyes widened. How did it get that close without her knowing it? When did it find them? That didn't matter right now. Lyra watched as the tail lashed towards Uriel and was deliberately meant to threaten them. Lyra ran in front of Uriel and stood in a defensive stance to protect him. He was injured, need healing and now a dragon was going to do something to stop them from heading to Sybak. Why does this have to happen now? I need to get home... Lyra thought to herself, now paying full attention on the dragon.

In order for Token to get more range with her lashing, she would have to turn on her side, her body too long to appropriately use her tail as a weapon. Thundering up to them in a charge, Token attempted to ram them, mostly because they formed a neat little line, the girl standing in front of the boy, whom appeared injured. Injured? Token's advance slowed, the dragon watching them closely. The woman had not attacked, and the man seemed too messed up to do anything with. Though Token was close enough to snap them up, she didn't. Instead, the dragon eyed them, trying to hiss something at them, though they probably didn't understand the language of monsters. The exesphere on her head glowed slightly, a greenish hue among the black scales that covered her.

(Have to write an essay, so I'm feeling lazy today. Just updating.)
DIRK'S HOUSE
After staying the night at Dirk's house and losing several drinking contests, Jason staggered out of the house toward the nearby village of Iselia. After recovering from said contests, of course. Mostly.
Walking into Iselia, Jason was shocked to see a crowd of people doing... Not much.

((Shall I send a reminder over to Uriel?))

Eloysio smirked and nodded, folding his arms. "Very well, then." At last, he faded out of Cinkel's mindspace. Back on the physical plane, he awakened, his wings reflexively beating and causing him to float upward off of Cinkel's body.

Sheena fixed her gaze on the sorcerer sprite once he was at eye level. "So what was going on, Eloysio? How's everything?"

He made a faint smile and replied, "The healing needed to be taken into the mindspace plane. But he's all better. He just won't be awake for a while. And he wishes to pass on his thanks and apologies for the whole ordeal...." Again, he habitually adjusted his monocle. "...and resolves to buy dinner for everyone." Although I'm sure someone here will have none of that... he concluded in thought.

The ninja chief made a sigh of relief. "Great. Now...they just need to be carried..."

With a slight nod, Kratos replied, "I'll take Azriel," before turning and walking toward the winged girl.

Eloysio fluttered after him, feeling some odd crustiness around the openings of his ears along the way. He dug a finger into one of them, finding some dried blood residue, remembering that was the result of his chaotic mind noise. Sweatdropping, he lightly scratched off the rest.

As Kratos approached, Colette stood back up and nodded at him, stepping back to make way. After the seraph took Azriel into his arms, Eloysio landed upon her stomach and looked up at her face with concern. He knew she was merely exhausted, but there was just that general look of vulnerability about her that still inspired worry. Would Uriel take another shot as the group tried to continue along their way into Sybak? If so...he wouldn't hesitate to snap his neck with his psychic powers.

Rhone carefully places Cinkel over his shoulder and joins Kratos and the others.
"I got Demon Boy, here. If anyone's too exhausted to walk, I got another shoulder."
Zelos shrugs and chuckles as he approaches as well.
"Jeez, stop acting all macho."
"Stop staring at Sheena's thighs."
Zelos' face immediately changes to pure fear as Rhone walks towards Sybak laughing to himself.
