Robin came up short, just as surprised as she apparently was. He looked her over in silence, taking in details in case he needed to remember them later, before carefully replying, "...Fine... I guess..." Did he know her? ... No. He was sure that he didn't. Which, of course, did not mean that he wasn't supposed to; he was from the past, as far as most people in this time were concerned. "Don't take this the wrong way," he continued slowly, "But do I know you?" His stance was relaxed, but defensive; he wasn't about to rule out an ambush, or some other kind of trick.

Mr. Brooks waited in his hiding place, waiting like the old sniper that he once was -- waiting for the Bat. Only thing was, after waiting and waiting... no Batman. Chris' eyebrows scrunched together in confusion.
Concentrating on the sounds around him, the henchman could bearly make out parts of a conversation... somewhere above him and toward his left.

ENTER Reaper from SANCTUM
A small bit of shadow raced across the alleys until it finally came to one that was close to the center of the city. From there, a red-cloaked figure with a blood stained skeleton emerged from the shadow. What better way to find super heroes than to get their attention?
From the shadow under him, four more small ones sprang out and flew towards various locations.
Reaper glanced around, deciding where to start searching here.

Yuriko rode into Gotham, studying the skyline. she let the cabbie ramble on about... whatever he was talking about. The woman could simply care less. Occasionally, Yuriko would ask a question about some of what she was seeing, but one fact didn't escape her grasp: the old corrupt decay about the city.

Crystal tilted her head and sniffed at him. "I'm Catgirl... Well now I'm known as Nohboddy, but the last time I saw you..." She realized, after studding him a bit more, that he was younger than he should be. "Oh... Wait."
Crystal looked a bit disappointed behind her mask. The last time she saw Robin he was still with the Titans. Now that she thought about she did hear from somewhere that Robin had changed his codename something about a wing and that a new Robin had taken his place... 'Or something like that.'
"I'm sorry to of mistaken you dear, but you're either the new Robin or from one of the multi-earths." Her ears go down shamefully. "I should of noticed before saying anything."

Robin's eyebrow went up. Dear? "... Uh huh." He paused, considering how much he should tell her. "Look, I've got to go." Without waiting for a response, he slipped past her and continued along to the far side of the roof. It wasn't that he wasn't curious--he WAS-- but he had to find Batman. There was no way that he could handle things on his own for long, and it wasn't as though he could trust her enough to ask for her help.
((He's d**k. He's about 16 at this point, and has only been with the Titans for a few months.))

Chris noticed that there where two people speaking, neither sounded like the Bat. Then, he heard one announce that he had to go. Just wait a little while longer...
The cab dropped Yuriko off in one of the places that she looked up where some of her marks have been. It was a rough neighborhood. Almost immediately, the Japanese woman sensed eyes upon her. One of them may make the mistake of attacking her. Yuriko smiled....

Crystal got a good whiff of Rrobin as he passed, letting her know that he WAS another world's d**k Greyson. She spun on her heals, keeping an eye on him as he did. "Hey Di-... huh... *cough* Robin. Do you need any help? You looked worried about something, and I've only seen two other heroes that I know of sence I got here earlier today..."
She was genuinly worried about the boy. He might not be the d**k from her world but she still cared about him as if he was. ''Just so you know, even if you say no I'll still follow... I'm not letting you run off on your own to get hurt, with no back up.'' She smiled softly yet reassuringly.

The original Reaper to arrive in Gotham found nothing on ground level, even being out in his skeleton form. Then again...he wasn't really doing anything other than lurking, so he wasn't exactly drawing attention to himself to draw heroes out or anything. And he couldn't pick up any signs of life nearby to try and make a scene.
He glanced around for a moment or two longer, then decided to try and get a better view elsewhere.
He stepped back into his shadow, and vanished into the darkness. A small patch of it raced across the side of the large building until it finally came to rest on the roof. Reaper reamerged from it, and stood on the ledge.

Arell was walking down around town, not really having a destination in mind, but just had a lot on his mind. Especially being transferred from a Louisiana swamp to a big city in such little time.

The Ghost continued to make preparations for his big score. As the villian makes final adjustments to the booster to his signal, he needed to send a message as a mcguffin -- to attempt to throw off those who would pursue and hunt him down.
Russell smiled in amusement as to his target for throwing off the heroes and authorities as to his real location.
