"Kiku..." he wanted to comfort her somehow. "Kiku my feelings for Amaya.. i had those long before i had met you or Izzy." he sat down next her and put an arm around her for her own sake. "i can't say much more than that to comfort you. it may just hurt worse."

Kiku rushed into his chest and kept punching him. "I hate you!" She kept punching as the blows got weaker until she was just tapping him. "Hate! Hate. Haaaaate...."

"good going Katsu, another broken heart" he said to himself as Kiku kept hitting him repeatedly. "kiku, the only thing i can say is i'm sorry for not revealing my feelings to Amaya sooner. at least you wouldnt have to feel so bad now. you or Izzy..." he spoke quietly, looking down at the ground or what glimpses he got of it as she hit him.

Katsu sighed. "way to go idiot" he scolded himself walking to the fridge. he grabbed out a pot of tea and reheated it. once done with that he began to drink it painstakingly slow.

Kiku wiped her eyes and hugged her legs while she looked back at the cabin. She saw a lake in the distance and slowly walked to it.

Katsu looked at the tea cup. it still had tea inside it. he set the tea down and let out a deep breath fading away and then reappearing at the lake, laying in the grass and looking at the sky. at least this place was usually quiet and no one would bother him for a little bit. "how the hell does this always happen.." he began scolding himself again

"Kiku?" he sat up and looked at her. "it would be the first time too, at least as far as i can remember." he was considering letting her do it. "will it make you feel better if you could?" he wanted to be sure about everything before he took any action.
