He stands bold and in character announcing "My vengeance and harsh wrath is the spawn of ten thousand maddening years of cruel and unbearable torture in a cell I did not deserve to be placed in!"
Illidan's story is a sad one with a sad ending, you would know this if you followed him from the sun well book series all the way through the RTS Warcraft games where he died (in lore only though).
I'm so mad at WoW for making him not just half a villain half a hero but making him a complete villain and making Maieve win! Of course they announced that that's just for "fun" and that any true Warcraft fan would know the actual lore....still bothers me though.........

I'm mad that they put Illidan in Outlands... He should have been in Northrend, giving a quest where you gaurd him from everyone else (Horde or Alliance) as he makes his way to Arthas, where you fight Along side him, trying to kill Arthas, and when arthas is half dead, he kills Illidan and you have to finish him off....
That's how it would be In REAL Warcraft...

I like the RTS soooo much more than WoW.
In WoW it's so unrealistic because it's like there's like a million something other players doing exactly what your doing, you have zero actual impact on the world your roleplaying in, and basically it's a tedious boring process of trying to level up so you can brag about your high level. I liked the RTS one's a lot more.

But that was the only thing that kept me from being bored. IN OTHER NEWS: Cans I have a bottle of cranberry juice, sparkling white grape juice, coffe beans, and rubbing alcohol?"

~major face palm, face keyboard, face desk, face wall, face floor, face street moment~
It's Real Time Strategy. Where you build an army and command it to defeat another army rather than just controlling one person.
How is Blizzard a sellout? I don't see Thrall promoting Sprint or Illidan eating a Snickers chocolate bar just before morphing.

No Sonaru, You CAN'T have alcohol, especially not the kind which can kill brain cells.
I call Bliz a sell out because of how rediculous WoW has gotten... BC was a good Idea, turned out to be a waste of money to me, I didn't even want to deal with WotLK (War of the Lost Kingdoms was a WAY better WotLK...) and they're really just trying to please all the idiots of MMOs but adding new patches and stuff to make the game easier and less skill-based. It's just gotten too far from Warcraft... god... damn Worgen becoming playable... it's REDICULOUS!" I rant, getting a two cups filled with one red liquid and one white liquid and bringing them to Sonaru, along with a sack of small brown pellets. "Eat up..."
