"Right..."
With that Sin headed off to the west, moving into the forest and threading his way though the trees. His arms trailed behind him like dead weight and because of that his speed was only slightly faster then a force march. It only took half an hour of moving at this speed before the toll could start being seen on Sin's face. His mouth was open and he was panting slightly, his forehead had a thin layer of sweat and eyes almost seemed to glaze over as they ran. Finally after about an hour of running Sin pace slowed to a jog and he fell to one knee.
"Ok.... I... need a.... breather...."
His panting was labored and the sweat could clearly been seen on his face. As he slowed to a stop he swayed and fell to the side, landing at the base of a tree and sitting down. His arms at his side, unmoving, and still looking worse for wear.
"Eventually we'll... need to spend some time.... before we head into that creepy forest…. resting up, otherwise I'm.... just dead weight..."

Ketsueki snickered lowly, as he whispered to his brother. "Some animals kill their wounded so they dont slow down the rest of the heard.. Perhaps we should do the same, aye Kotsuizi?"
Kotsuizi merely nodded a reply, not caring much. From the years spent with Ketsueki, he learned to tune him and his continuious remarks of death out.
Seishin also seemed elsewhere as he gazed at the sky and weather blindly.
"The next moon cycle will begin soon... With in a week if i've read the sky right."
Kegawa was once more about to offer Sin his help though knowing it would be declined. he stopped though and turned around to gaze at his Seishin with a expressionless face. Ketsueki and Kotsuizi also stopped and gazed at their blind sibling.
"We must begin preparations soon, then..."
His gaze met others and each of them understood, giving a slightl nod. Ketsueki nodded in his own way, shrugging the whole thing off as he turned his gaze elsewhere. Though he acted of his own most of the time, but Kegawa knew he would come through when the time came.

"Alright...but we can not linger for long." Issildia said in response to Sin. Though she was weak as well; her current state went far beyond anything she had previously endured, to a level where exhaustion was the least of her worries.
As she moved to sit and wait for their strength to return Issildia could not shake the memory of Reinsen's death from her thoughts. The oppressive chill that permeated that dark realm...the everlasting fog that hid all from view...the sound of her father's footsteps as he struggled to reach the barrier that led to Life once again...then another sound came but not one born of memory. A bitter scream that pieced the silence, the dying plea for a mercy that would never be granted....The sound of a final and inescapable death.
Issildia awoke with a start at the edge of the forest with the others; as her father's dying words were silenced by a necromancer's will, his final screams still echoing through her mind. It took little thought to realize who had truly dealt the final blow to Reinsen Nevar.
"Ryera..." Issildia whispered softly...realizing, that Reinsen's death was only part of this chain of events...
That this was far from over.

Sin was almost too tired to actually pay much attention to everyone around him. His body was screaming for him to stop and the fact that he started to rest only made those cry's louder when he finally did decide to get up and move again.
"Like I said before... I think at this point it has become a necessity to rest for a full day before we head into the forest... After all... I'm just sore and out of power.... Issilida... you almost look like you need the rest more then me..."
Sin knew getting her to admit that would take up what ever energy he had left but for now he didn't say anything else and just started back along the path they were taking, although he was slightly slower then when they had started.

"The larovians will have more than their share of things to worry with now...we should rest while we have the chance." Issildia conceded reluctantly as she stood slowly. "A change in power is taking place as we speak...what actions Darsha will take are uncertain...but he does intend to act...and soon." She said as she attempted to mask the exhaustion still apparent in her speech. "There is a great chance that he will withdraw his troops from this region...Unlike his brother...Darsha has no quarrel with the Takinowa regime...he has is own agenda to see to... It would seem for the moment that the danger has passed."

"And what of my people.... I don't know if he has any interest in us but if he does I doubt it would be a good thing...."
Sighing Sin lay back against the tree and sighed, letting the exhaustion sink into his body. The pain from his arms throbbed and his exhausted muscles cried out in pain anytime he tried to move.
"Right now... I think we need to wait him out and see what Darsha, whoever he is, to make the first move.... Unless you have some magical insight to his current plans with your dead fathers empire...."

"What were the conditions of the agreement with your people Sin?" Issildia asked lowly, addressing his first statement and blatantly ignoring the second. "I understand well enough the implications of my father's words...but it was always a suspicion of mine that you were not here out of honest curiosity." she added. "But you probably knew that as well." she conceded solemnly. Issildia paused for a brief moment before continuing, "I can understand your motives if they were fueled by the possibility that your people were in danger... for I know that path well enough...But...I need to know your true motives in coming this far...why we first came upon you in Keirdon? And why you are still here. Everything in this world has a purpose...any action no matter how slight, has a motive..."

Sighing Sin looked down at the ground as Issilida watched him. He knew at some point he should tell her and now, with Reinsen's death, it might be somewhat safer. He still would rather not have told her however.
'well.... I guess the details of the contract my people signed has always been a little vague... only the elder ever got to see it and he preferred not to let anyone else see our people's shame...."
Sighing again, this time more heavily, Sin looked back up at Issildia and scratched the back of his head nervously.
"when I left the temple before everyone else I was told to find you and kill you.... Grevious was given the task of aiding Reinsen in his endeavors and assist him whenever possible... Until this point I was simply justifying not attacking you straight out by assuming that it wasn't a good time for it."
Placing his arms on his knees he rested his forehead on them and looked back at the ground.
"Grevious always better at figuring out this sort of stuff.... I pretty much did what I was told.... Right now I need to see this out to the end.... I hate to say it Issilida but while any of your family, yourself included, are still alive theirs the potential to activate the curse and end the line of Monkoto..."
Standing up slowly he looked down at her and frowned. He didn't like what he had to say next but he needed to say it.
"So until you and the last of your line no longer walk the mortal path... I plan to stick by you and make sure this little family feud you have finishes completely...."

Issildia was silent for a long moment before she offered a reply. Though her words were not what they would have been before her father's death or even before entering Trenian lands.
"This contract..." she said darkly. "It was instated by one of my line..." She said hesitantly before pausing, carefully working out the details of this information as well as what she envisioned.
"Therefore...it is possible that another Nevar...could...bring it to an end. And your people would no longer be involved in this war." she added as she looked at him, knowing that he caught was she was suggesting.
"If that is indeed possible...then we will need to see the terms of this contract...from there...I will see what can be done.....Get some rest...we need you able to walk if you are to take us to the Monkoto." She added with a slight bit of her tell tale sarcastic tone inching back into her voice.
"And I would have like to have seen you try and kill me...It would have been...entertaining to say the least." She said with a smirk, reverting back to the normal demeanor she assumed when conversing with Sin, knowing well that it would prove to be the catalyst for yet another of their arguments. The severity of the night's happenings, as well as the truths finally revealed, would be best left for thought the following morning.

"right... oh... before I get some rest... I do think I should warn you... the path we're going to take is going to bring us pretty close to my sisters grave.... we can either go around it or though it... although it's not easy either way.... I'll let you decied once we get there..."
With that sin pulled out a blanket from his pack and sighed, thowing it over himself and shifting his postiton to try and get comfortable.

"I see." Issildia said as she looked away pausing for a moment, thinking it odd that he would even propose the choice...Why mention something such as that if you intended to avoid it in the first place. It seemed that inadvertently...Sin had already decided their course for that following morning.
----------
It was a few hours before sunrise when Issildia awoke. Though most of the physical evidence of yesterday's battle was on the mend, the memory of the duel refused to slip into the background of Issildia's consciousness. Still she managed to ignore it well enough as she came to her feet and set to returning her sword to her belt, as well as conducting an unconscious count of the few kunai that she still had in her possession. As this took place Issildia could only imagine how the Monkoto would react to Sin's supposed failure. She understood the punishment for an assassin when they failed to destroy their target. But then again Sin was not truly of such a station. A warrior true enough, but not of the clandestine sort in the least.
The remains of the larovian army would be departing at dawn as was their custom; such is the reason that Issildia thought it best start the day a few steps ahead of the enemy, for once.

Cracking his back with a pop Sin stood ready and waiting for everyone else in the party to finish getting up. As he waited he glanced down at his arm and smiled. Much of the scarred and burned skin was already cracking off and revealing an almost new layer of flesh underneath. Reaching up and feeling the wound near his eye he sighed as the scar also seemed to be healing as well. This disappointed him as he was hoping for something a little more 'heroic looking' then what was going to be left.
"Well off we go... first step is back though that forest then up the first set of mountains until we get to the hurtle I told you about.... I might as well try to describe it now.... think of a massive sphere wedged in between two large mountains. That sphere is made up of massive windstorms and almost hurricane forces. Picking up rocks and derbies almost daily walking through is like going upwind of a typhoon.... not to mention the rocks... if we go though it's maybe half a mile until we reach the eye of the storm and it’s a clear shot though to the other side before we have to cross the gap again. If we go around however.... we not only have to take a longer route due to the mountains size but we run the risk of collateral damage from the rocks and debris hurled from the same windstorm.... it's not exactly the best set of options...."

"It would seem that you know the path better than I Sin, it would be best if you choose our course." Issildia said distantly as she looked off towards the dark forest to the west Though her attention was soon absorbed in the sound of wing beats decending upon them. As Kyrion landed with barely a hint of sound, his wings fading into nothingness to make him appear as nothing more than a human.
"Kyrion? Why are you here?" Issildia demanded as she turned on him with a flat expression, as their last encounter had been far from ideal.
The Azerian seemed almost out of breath as he stepped towards them, his eyes dark with the knowledge that he had gained while in Larovia.
"The newly crowned ruler of your Father's empire has sent word to all Larovia's allies...Darsha is gathering together new forces who's intent is still shadowed." He said almost in a rushed manner.
"It is to be expected." Issildia countered coldly. "Reinsen exhausted the larovian forces throughout his campaign against Keirdon and Trenius Sekia...Why are you here?" She asked again, but her patience growing thin with the azerian that often made a point of drawing out the worst in her personality.
"Agents from Ule' Deius recovered information of Darsha's plans from the citadel in De'ris Ilen...He seeks to destroy what remains of Keirdon!"
"Keirdon has already seen it's final days...I was there the day that Faltora fell...Nicholas Remos is dead and his people leaderless...There is nothing worth Darsha's time in those lands." Issildia uttered decisively. As she glanced at Sin briefly before turning back to Kyrion.
The azerian seemed to loose what little sense of pride and superiority he still retained as he exhaled heavily.
"Darsha does not risk a lordship still in it's infancy to simply finish off what remains of Nicholas's kingdom...Issildia, he marches for the Dathelien forest to grant my people the same that your father granted Anier..."
Silence soon cloaked the distance between them before she spoke. "And why would you come to us with this...we all have seen our share of what will come of this. We would be of no use."
"Cut off Larovia's link to her allies, those that have sworn fealty to the emperor...There are dozens of clans and cities that have vowed to lend aid in a time of war, Ismenia, Rydek, the Deristrasa clan, the Monkoto and countless others ...Convince them otherwise or stop them from making it to the south."
Issildia exhaled tiredly, it seemed that they world did not stop even after the death of a Reinsen Nevar. Again silence decended upon them before she looked at Sin, "It seems that our path has already been chosen...Sin...lead on, you know this path better than I."
Kyrion offered no words of thanks or aid he simply gave a slight nod before his wings arced out of his back and swept toward the ground, launching him into the air

"Right.... so much for the quiet existence within our temple...."With that Sin headed off towards the far off mountains, moving at a brisk semi-run, not pushing himself too hard. He'd need the energy when they head though his sister’s grave. * * * After about a day worth of travel Sin finally stepped out of the forest and looked up at the gently inclining mountainside. As he looked he closed his eyes and listed for a moment before sighing, a breif wind blowing though his hair. "now we go up..."Walking forwards he leapt onto the first of many large rocks and began to climb up the side of the mountain. As he climbed he looked back at Issildia and cleared his voice. "Issildia... I know that even if we do convince the Monkoto to ignore the blood pact they probably won't join forces with us... the very fact that me and my brother were sent out was something never seen before in our history..."((I hope you don't mind me skipping the forest part, but if you want I can go back and change the post if necessary))

(Not a problem in the least)
"I do not intend to force them to ignore the terms of the pact...I intend to break it...if my blood is sufficient." She replied solemnly.
"And if they should choose otherwise they need not join in to aid us...we are only here to cut of Larovia's recourses, nothing more."
