Skaeryll It's impossible to do a level 1 run of any rpg. Sooo I was going back over the thread to find Amber's banner and I found this.
I just thought I'd point out that most, if not all RPGs that have bosses that do not give EXP or a manual level-up system can be completed at base level, sometimes by running away from every battle, sometimes by Petrifying or otherwise incapacitating monsters in ways that don't grant EXP, sometimes by killing off all but one member of your party that you don't intend to use in boss fights and letting them gain all the EXP, and sometimes by simply not applying the gained level-ups. Other RPGs can be completed at ridiculously low levels; I think you can beat FF7 at level 15 if you only do the mandatory battles.
You should try it sometime; GameFAQs usually has at least one base-level or low-level challenge FAQ for popular RPGs. It's kind of frustrating, but fun at the same time. It's really hard to stay at level 1 though. Probably harder than it is to win at level 1. xd

So I thought that Dessy and Zach's characters in my pokemon game would be married(obviously), and that maybe one of the other gym leaders would be their child... the only one that could really work in my opinion would be my own gym leader... cause it's the only one I really could imagine being their child. lol

If I tried to do a level 1 run of an RPG, I'd get at least 2 hernias and an ulcer. xD
I can't stand not leveling up. That's what keeps me going in most RPGS.
