A startled scream came from within the darkness of the ceiling, and Valik seemed to appear and fall from nowhere, landing heavily next to Nalini. There was a dark laugh from where he came from.

A DRK portal became visible flat upon the ceiling, and Kat poked her head through, sticking her tongue out and grinning, also making a strange noise.
