I know it's been forever, and we still haven't found out the results. LHH REALLY has to log on and hand the results and prizes. sweatdrop I'll e-mail her tonight. I've been keeping a record of who I think I deserves points since the new term began in January, so once the results from December are posted none of the Houses will start the long-awaited new term with nothing.
There won't be a huge amount since most points are given out for Haven'ers entering contests, and there haven't been any contests to enter. (Remember there used to be a fan fic one every month?) I'm allowed to hold contests if I get permission from an HoH first, but - because only LHH knows Accio Funds' password - I wouldn't be able to give out prizes, and no one wants to enter a contest if they aren't going to win something. The points of been keeping track of for when I can FINALLY issue them are mostly for exceptional thread topics, and posts.
Oh, by the way, I'm a moderator Prefect for anyone that doesn't already know. It wasn't supposed to be announced until new term officially started, but a few people (mostly Gryffs) have already been PMing me asking me to move them up in the Hogwarts Houses thread when they have enough posts to upgrade a year, so I figure that I might as well let everyone know.
I don't have all of the powers that an HoH (vice captain) does, but if you have a problem/question, then feel free to PM me and I'll help out if I can.

Oh.. Has she not been logging on? Maybe she doesn't have internet or something...
Still, maybe they should think about giving one or two more people power incase things like this can happen and so the guild can still go on running without them.
Congrats on becoming a prefect. smile
Let's hope things get started again!

 Hey guys! Awesome news! I am graduating on May 30th, and currently am saving money for college, but since I don't have near enough yet and can't seem to get any grants or anything despite my mom having no job (O.o?) I will have oodles and oodles of time to be online, which means I will probably get to be in the Haven more! Yays!!!! Also... I like kitties.... Hee hee I am so random sometimes.... *smiles big*

Congrats! I hope you eventually get enough money. The money I make this summer I will save towards college. I have the feeling I won't have anyone else offering to pay much for it since my parents don't have much money. And I want to stay away from student loans if I can.

Thank you, that makes me feel very missed around here lol... and I will, and my Mamie is probably going to help pay... but I am going to take time off. Not a whole year, mind you. Maybe until Spring. It depends on when I get money together.

LHH asked me to be Head of Ravenclaw since I'm the most active Prefect. I was flattered, but I felt uncomfortable accepting at first since I was worried that the Gryffs would think I betrayed them and that the Ravens would resent LHH asking me instead of them. I figured that it would be good for The Haven, though, since I do a lot here, and I'd definitely be a fair HoH, unlike Snape. wink LHH has asked for my input in helping her add up points before I was even Prefect, and I have loads of contest ideas. I made 10 banners for the Haven, designed the Marauders' Era RP with Suze, (We're one of The Haven's affiliate guilds now.) and entered almost all of the contests. 140 of Gryffindor's House points last term were because of me.
Plus, today I was finally able to post the 100 points I've been keeping track of since January. (Well, 90 since Gerp's 10 points for Apparation I didn't know about until Jade told me.) I was keeping track of them since, as Prefect, I was allowed to recommend people for points when the new term began, but they needed to be approved by an HoH.
Now that I'm HoH I don't need to await approval for things (unless it's major and requires multiple HoH consultation); I can simply do fun things for you all! whee I made a Magical Mothers’ Day Contest and I hope that you all enter to earn House points!

Its a BOY! I'm so excited! We just found out last wk, but I'm like never on anymore. Time is slipping away from me left and right. Between being at the end of my six months prego and my job of daycare and then working at the green house I find that I'm never home. Hope everyone is doing well.

Min, Gryffs may be hardheaded (I mean this to all Gryffindors in the most loving way. biggrin ), but we are not that hardheaded! Of course we don't feel betrayed! (Right guys?) xd . Nope nope nope, not at all! xd (Haha, and you're advertising the RP kinda too! Yeah! Hehe. biggrin )
Mia, that's cool about the college thing. College is stressful (based on what I hear xd ) and it'll be nice to have that time off to relax before diving into stress! I wish you luck!

Maybe Quidditch will even work! That'd be exciting.
What about loans from banks? Usually they let students take out loans because students can get higher-paying jobs with degrees.
Oh yeah--right now is a great time to invest in the stock market (sorry, random slightly related thought). It's probably going to turn into a bowl soon (relative...a couple months maybe), and start skyrocketing. x3 I can't wait!

Hehe, don't feel bad. I knew because she is a member of the RP so she told us she'd be on an extended absense. (:
I am still in the younger years of high school and the college I want cost a lot so I started saving my own money when I was thirteen (It all goes into a bank I can't access until I am in college) and my parents made me a college fund. So I guess I kind of understand. My parents wanted us to be extra prepared!
