"How are they able to get though the barrier?!" Jett's jaw clenched. It was their best defense against the demons, a barrier held up by the Dragon Lord. "Why do you think this, Celia?"

Celia caught, just out of the corner of her eye, the strange look Micoi was giving her. Had she done something wrong? The Knight shook her head; she would worry about that later.
Then came the one question she had been hoping he wouldn't ask her. The question she couldn't actually answer.
"I don't...I don't actually know, sir...I just um..."Suddenly all the confidence she had a minute ago was vanishing at an alarming rate. Sure, she still had the conviction, but if it was hidden behind a timid voice, in all likelyhood it would be ignored. Finally after a moment, she tried the longshot; spitting it out, "I don't really know how I know, I just do."

"We will need to find this out as soon as possible. We may need to try and take captives. " Jett muttered, almost to himself. "We wil meet in the War Room immediately." He stood up and bowed lightly to Micoi. "By your leave, my Lady."

That was a good question indeed, the young dragon thought too. A very good question. Yes, she knew about the Light shield, however little her knowledge about it now was but she knew a bit about it at least. And then the Dragon Lord's words floated into her ears. War room...? Oh s**t! She had to...
"Uhm. A-alright," she replied Jett, either a bit surprised at the situation as a whole or about his very courteous manners and words. "Uh... and what should I do?" she asked, golden eyes looking over at him.

Jett looked as if he might say something to Micoi, his mouth open slightly. Then he closed it, thinking.
"Micoi, you should go to the inner sanctum. Celia, go with her as a guard. We can spare one Knight, if it to protect the Queen."

Celia nodded, and then said "Yes sir" Before turning back to the soon-to-be Queen.
"Are you ready?"She asked with a little smile, hoping that she wasn't about to do anything...rash. She knew Micoi was a spirited person, and that was something she admired about her, but at the same time she worried about her very much. Celia wanted to think of the Queen as a friend, and she certainly didn't want anything to happen to her friends. She hoped someone would tell Ana soon too, if the knight herself didn't see the maid first.
'Celia, you really should get going. There isn't a lot of time to waste,'said Kohaku calmly, not wanting any more time to be spent on conversation.
"Oh, right,"She said, snapping back to reality and away from the thoughts that had enveloped her mind for a moment.

((o-O; Wha--? I, uh, uhm... o__o;; I for... got... or somehow missed... or something. *doesn't know actually* Uhm, uh... o_o;;; Gimmie a second, or something, to figure out how to do with him... XD;;; ))
The young dragon looked at the Lord for a moment in silence before nodding once. Oh great. Oh s**t. Oh hell. Oh-- Yeah, insert "cough cough" here, she thought wryly. She had a problem, actually, make that two. She tried her best to give a carefree smile. "Uhm, I'll be okay on my own, really. I just need someone to show me how to get there..." she said, trailing off at the end at the realization that she didn't know where the place was they wanted her to go.

"Its really not a problem, I'de be happy to escort you there,"said Celia happily, if a little absently. She didn't quite seem to get that the Queen to be was trying to discretely ditch her.
((wow. Short post...Sorry. I've....got nothing else at the moment.))

Jett gave Micoi a look. If Celia didn't notice Micoi's attempt, he certainly did.
"Your safety is of the utmost importance to the whole kingdom, Lady Micoi. I know you want to fight, but it's too dangerous. If you appeared anywhere on the battlefield, the demons would target you."

Damn! ******** this man! She swore inside her mind as she met his dark eyes. This certainly did not... argh. Just... damn him. Curses... Well, this certainly made it... a bit more difficult for her.
Letting out her breath in a slow exhaling, almost imitating a low sigh, the queen-to-be closed her eyes for a second before meeting Jett's again. "Alright," she replied but didn't really seem like she wanted to (or would?) follow his orders. "Show the way then, Celia," she smiled at the knight and turned towards the door but then paused and turned her head over her shoulder to look at the Dragon Lord again. "Oh, and Jett... I'll forget what you answered on my last question so that, perhaps, you can reconsider it." Then she turned again and, opening the door, walked out of it without waiting for either Celia or Jett's reply. She was truly a demanding little lady.

Celia blinked a moment, surprised at Micoi's sudden departure, bowed to the Dragon Lord to excuse herself, and then ran out after her. "Are you alright? You just....you seem a little tense....And...I just um..."She had wanted to make sure that Micoi wasn't angry with her, and more importantly that nothing was wrong.
'Celia. Calm down, speak clearly, okay?' Kohaku was trying his very best to reassure her, but for some reason the Knight just seemed jumpy.
She nodded just a little, sighing a bit as if hoping that would relieve some of the anxiety that had suddenly seemed to envelope her after leaving the office.

"No, it's all right," the young woman smiled at the knight. Well, if that smile was anything to judge by, the young lady seemed okay. "Me and Jett just had... a little discussion before you came in. Private matters, you could say," she said, nonchalantly waving a hand in the air as if to dismiss them as trivial and nothing that was really of extremely private nature.
"Why?" she smiled. "Are you worried? Or perhaps curious?" She could hardly keep her smile cheerful for the desire to give another expression.

As soon as she said 'private matters,' Celia felt awful. She hadn't meant to interrupt anything important, none the less anything personal...it just seemed important at the time...Now the more she thought about it, the more ridiculous the whole thing seemed.
Really, she had just seen some smoke, and then...Hallucinated? That would explain it. She couldn't come up with any other reasonable explanation for what had happened...Of course, that realization made things...very bad. Had she just gotten everyone worked up for nothing? How was she going to explain this when it turned out to be nothing?
"I was...I was just worried..."she explained, realizing there had been a long silence there while she was having what may have been considered a slight mental freak out.

"Oh, don't worry yourself about it. It was nothing too important after all," the dragon said with a cheerful smile. "I could even tell you if you wanted." The queen-to-be said as she followed the knight as the other began to descend down a stair. Maybe she could make Celia faint from blushing too much or something? Any alternative route of escape was okay by now.
