The boy smiled as the girl introduced herself as Adara Stormborn. A strong sounding name, and yet the person who it was attached to was more of a motherly type person. This girl was starting to intrigue Nixon, not knowing why she even wasted her time on him and what kind of person she really was. "It is nice to meet you Adara." he said while placing the picture of Ray back in his pocket carefully. Nixon rose an eyebrow to the bag of marshmallows, he had not eaten these in years. Curious as to what they tasted like, he took two and popped one in his mouth. Slowly chewing on the confectionery, he felt the soft texture and faint sweet flavour in his mouth. After swallowing it he did feel alot better so he proceeded to eat the second one. After he had finished he whipped out his hankercheif and wiped his mouth. "Thankyou very much Adara, I honestly have not met someone so kind before," he said while still smiling. The feeling of guilt had completely faded, replaced by the feeling of comfort. At the mention of Ray, Nixon nodded his head. "Thankyou, It's just I never really moved on. Even though it has been years since he passed. That is why I am a solo meister and plan of being one until I find someone..." his voice trailed off as he looked into Adara's eyes. The feeling inside him was increasing, Nixon had no idea what this feeling was but he definately had felt it before. He shook his head to re-focus on reality and in turn getting rid of the feeling. "I am sorry, must of ate something under-cooked earlier," trying to mask what was happening to him. Adara then did something Nixon would of never predicted, he had never been invited to a women's house before so he would have to re-pay the kind gesture. "I would love to come round to yours but on one condition. We stop off at the shops and I pay for the tea, if you drink it aswell as the food. I know a few recipes we used to always make back in Britain." he said as he got up from his spot. He held out his hand for her to use to get up is she so needed help. It was Nixon's turn to be kind and generous.

Adara took Nixon's hand, and used part of his weight to pull herself up. She started to feel like she was getting a little anxious and took a deep breath to calm herself down. "Not here not now," she kept thinking to herself. She smiled at him and said, "Sometimes it just takes time and something else to take your mind off of things for a while. Having the right people around helps too." She thought back to the night of the party and about her sister Freyja. She started to feel the anxious feeling come back a little and she shook her head to try to get her focus back. She tried as best as she could to bury the anxious feeling. In the back of her head all she could really think about was how she was afraid to get close to anyone else, but her moving closer to the DWMA was also so she could find out more as to who she was as a weapon and as a human being. "Eventually though I think you'll find another partner. I never even knew I was a weapon until a couple of years ago and even then how I found out is a little hazy to me. My sister and I paired up for a little while when we first found out we were a weapon and meister, but we didn't stay that way for long because neither of us really knew what we were doing," she said trying to sound a little hopeful. She pondered on her sister for a few moments longer eventually deciding that if she continued to dwell on the subject her mind would go to some dark places that she didn't feel comfortable with being around Nixon. Trying to sound a little more cheerful and persistent as she usually would be she said to him, "I'll let you buy the tea, but I can't let you buy the food. It's not right to make the guest pay for his meal in my opinion. You can help cook it if you want to I won't protest to that, but we are gonna have to do something like this again if you want to pay for the food." She would let him pay if Nixon insisted, but Adara wasn't exactly one to go down without a fight. Although she was feeling rather anxious about Nixon she had to admit that she did have this underlining sense that things would be alright. Now that she was starting to think clearly and logically (mostly because she was keeping herself distracted because of the meal planning) she began to notice certain things that she wasn't exactly sure about, but she was trying as best as she could to not let her own personal fears get in the way.
Nixon was used to keeping up apperance and even faking a smile while being observed by others (it was a british thing). But for some reason today was an off day. Not only had he cried infront of a stranger but he was pretty sure he was letting on to her that something was happening to him. Slowly however he was managing to keep his cool, hopefully this outing to the shops and a meal would help. He looked at her and listened intently as she spoke about her own past with her sister. "I have never heard of siblings becoming a duo before, that is very interesting but I suppose it would make sense," he said as he looked down and stroked his chin. The dynamics of partners was ever changing and something new was always cropping up. In his time, Nixon had come across a few interesting pair ups but none of them were related by blood atleast. The mood of the conversation one again changed swiftly back to the meal. This women was going to be a stubborn one when it comes to money but Nixon would make sure he would pay her back. He sighed and nodded in agreementt to her ultimatum. "I am more than happy to help cook and to make the team, it would be rude of me not to help you. Many hands make light work as they say you know," he chucked as he gestured towards the path. "you first m'lady," he spoke in a really posh accent unintentionally. He would follow Adara out of the park and towards the market where the two would shop for ingredients.

Adara nodded and said lightly, "If there was ever a way that we would be able to try it out for a day I would love to. I'm not exactly sure how well it would go now but I would still give it a shot." She chuckled at Nixon's posh accent as she remembered about some things she had at home between her fridge and pantry that she could make for them. Curiously she asked Nixon, "Are you feeling Irish or Italian? Food wise I mean, but think about that along the way home. I'll ask you again after we get there." With that she turned around and began to walk home so it would kinda make him think about it.

The Queen would ask Saya, having so far a wonderful time. Yet, there was a sudden feel of uneasiness once her steps were the only ones she could hear so far, nothing fancy, maybe Saya stopped by to look at something or she was thinking about anything for that matter. Yet, the lack of answer was what really got a bad feeling around it. Saya was still there, her scent was there but she wasn't talking or walking. "Having a good time? that's cute." For the first time, perhaps in ages, Tear was able to sneak unto Queen without being noticed, not until she spoke. Should the Queen look backwards there was about 3 meters between them, just as much as Queen could walk when she asked. Saya was there, just as her senses dictated yet she was hold onto by Tear, when? how? and why did she got here and held Saya were a bunch of Misteries but probably none of that would matter to the queen, Tear smiled as she stroked the kitsune's fur. "Good to know, mother would be pleased. Thanks for saving me the trouble to get her a pet." That calm smile on her face, and those words. Tear sounded just like Evangeline, the kishin Lily faced back at the distopian future. It was truth that Tear had absorbed her into herself, could it be she was this Mother she was talking about? Even more worrying, since when did Tear learned to be... professional? Plus Lily knew well she was the ONLY kitsune which Tear tolerated to a degree. Something here was off and it wasn't funny.
_________________________________________ queen would soon turn around looking at Tear with saya in her grasp, in the begining she seemed calm and couldn't seem to care but as she talked expessially with the pet part, her face became more annoyed than anything "oy...if you are wise you would let the girl go" she stated bluntly "because if you don't...you wont be standing up....ever" she told her before disapearing from Tears eyes "times up" she muttered as behind Tear Queen would be swinging a sword at her head to cut it off. queen was more focused on getting Saya away from Tear more than anything she said past the word Pet. regardless if Queen missed or not she would point her palm at where Tear would be sending a blast of fire small enough to avoid Saya but strong enough to do fire damage to her, thanks to it being focused.

The brunette smiled as Queen left from her line of sight. "Oh why would I?" Asked Tear, holding the girl up as she placed Saya's cheek against hers, a little too close for the Flames not to hit her by Mistake, but now both of their necks were at the same height, not to mention Tear didn't seem to hesitate to kill Volpeo when provoked. Harming at target this close and with an advantage posture towards Saya it wouldn't be hard for her to accidentally snap her neck. Regardless. Tear would take the hit, yet she didn't flinch, and all she held was a thin crimson line marked over her neck. She appeared to have grown stronger. And the next thing was that she was genuinelly interested on keeping Saya alive or else she would had dealth with her ever since they arrived. "Isn't she an adorable little cub? I'm sure mother will be pleased." Adorable little cub, a similar term was used on Queen by Evangeline. And those calm eyes which watched her dear Saya grew more and more similar to those of Evangeline.
_________________________________________ queen glared at Tear "your begining to sound like that B****i met in that nightmare" she muttered as she kept mentioning things from before. Queen would then proceed to crack her knuckles as black petals would begin to flow around her only to fly at the pair, but instead of attacking they would begin to wrap around Saya, once wrapped around they would soon spike outward aiming to get Tear to drop Saya from the spikes on the petals wrapping Saya, yet Saya would still feel nothing from it but would still be surprised from seeing it.

"A wrapping gift? Queen, you're so thoughtful, Mother would appreciate it." Tear giggled, the brunette's body would repel the spikes as if they were hitting metal on metal. Sure some of the thorns would manage to scrap pieces of her armor but Tear didn't seem to mind the petals. "oh, such a naughty cub...you must behave or else you might breed that rebellious attitude of you to your cubs..." To thick things off, Queen would start hearing Evangeline's voice inside her head as well. It would seem the little interaction was awakening the cocoon inside Tear. "Are you going to hit me? really, near the cub? Queen I thought you'll be more thoughtful." Perhaps training her as an assassin wasn't the best idea on the long therm as Queen knew Evangeline's blade could pierce through the petals if enough force was used.
"Yaaay! Get to stay up late!" Saya cheered as she and Queen began to walk through the park. All of a sudden she felt arms wrap around her from behind. ??? She watched Queen walk several more steps before the feminine voice of the person who grabbed her spoke. She whimpered slightly as the strange woman stroked her fur. She didn't like it when people she didn't know pet her. It was pretty obvious that Queen and this woman weren't on good terms and Saya squirmed slightly in her grasp. "Queeeennn." she whimpered quietly. She wasn't terrified but she was definitely scared. She didn't want to be anyone's pet! Suddenly she felt herself lifted up higher as the woman placed her cheek against her own once Queen launched an attack. "Stoooop," Saya complained quietly as Tear pressed her cheek against her. She wasn't struggling or making a big scene because she didn't want to throw off or distract Queen but she definitely didn't like this creepy lady either.
When Queen fired a blast of fire at Tear, Saya quickly focused. Suddenly her clothes took on a metallic sheen and Tear would be able to tell that Saya had become slightly heavier. She had activated her Hardened Armor ability that she had learned from watching Queen and since the blast was low-powered the fire that did hit Saya washed over her clothes harmlessly before disappearing. Saya kept her clothing hardened as the stand-off continued. "I don't want to meet your mommy let me go," Saya complained again as she wiggled back and forth in Tear's grasp. Of course there was no way she could break free on her own. She watched in surprise as Queen launched a petal-like attack that attempted to wrap Saya and take her away but Tear repelled it. "I-if you don't let me go I'm gonna bite you!" Saya warned as she squirmed again.
Abilities:

While not as effective, Saya's clothing makes taking damage (especially fire damage) a lot less painful and debilitating. She had do this at will but not for very long. It can last for about an hour at most before Saya needs to rest.

Tear giggled as Saya began struggling, trying to get herself free but with no luck so far. Despite the apparent helpless situation, it was mainly because Queen and Tear were both focused on their individual schemes. One trying to free Saya, the other trying to keep her as a pet for her mother.
As Saya became heavier, none would actually see that take effect on Tear, yet the brunette surely felt it. Her strength however was enough to bare with it. "Aren't you a little charmer?" She teased making sure Saya knew Tear was now aware of her ability to become heavier. While the skill itself had other uses, all Tear knew was that it made Saya heavier, she could only assume it bare more defensive capabilities but knew better than to trust on assumptions. So, for now, all she knew was that Saya could grow heavier.
At the same time this could or could not be a warning to Queen given she knew first hand how Low Tear's patience was with Kitsunes.
_________________________________________ queen growled when she kept hearing Tear speak only to hear a voice in her head "oh now i remember...your the piece of **** that i brought back from that nightmare" she stated before her body became enveloped by armor, all for except her head "yes...i am going to hit you...expessially infront of the cub...shes already witnessed what i can do at full power...and that was when i was still young" she told her before her arms became enveloped by Darkness making her arms more demonic like in appearance as well as stronger and longer, and more deadlier. "don't bother biting her....Weapons Taste like crap anyways..." she told her as Queen then had flames appear all over her body "your not at your full strength yet are you..." she asked as she cracked her knuckles, Queen was clearly pissed and she was willing to go on a rampage if need be, yet she wasn;t going to bother with a rampage as long as Saya was in her arms "If i remember correctly, you only know how to fight me as i am now...meaning once i get myself warmed up...I'll be ripping your heart out" she muttered dissappearing only to appear infront of Tear aiming to grab her by the throat, she was quick enough that not even Tear could move Saya in the way of it, if she managed to grab her she would push her down hard into the ground, while also squeezing her grip. in the reality of the current situation, Queen wasn't afraid of speaking this was in front of Saya as she herself knew exactly who the queen was and even the things shes down, even some of her past to know that she only said what she wanted and never bothered considering to filter for the girl.

Saya growled at Tear but didn't respond to her comment. She looked back at Queen when she told her not to bite her. "Okay..." she mumbled. Her ears perked up as Queen powered up and summoned her armor. "Queen is gonna kick your butt so bad mean lady!" Saya assured Tear before Queen launched her attack.

Tear smiled gently, the more time it passed the more she looked like her future counterpart which Queen "loved" so much. Her eyes grew more of an amber color, every time getting closer to Evangeline's golden eyes. "It's true, I only know you this far." She would add before her knee would ram up with brutal strength against Queen's abdomen, shattering the plates which covered her. "yet I believe the same goes for you." Tear replied as her gentle smile was more and more like Evangelines, nothing kind or gentle in it. "My dear Lily, soon we'll be together again, and look there's more kitsunes here... maybe we can finally find your mating partner... wouldn't that be fantastic dear?"
Evangeline's voice grew stronger inside Lily's head which could only mean one thing, the cocoon grew stronger inside Tear's body. Despite the apparent advantage Lily had while covering the higher ground, It didn't seem like Tear had any opening for her to snatch Saya from her grasp.
