((Behold I join the RP!))
Chapter 1
Mag quickly stepped off of the SeaGallop High Speed 7. He was glad to be off the sea and so was his pokemon friend Sunfire the "Shiny" Flareon. Fire pokemon and their trainers don't mix with water very well.
"Well Sunfire, I guess we should be off then." Mag said as his flareon nodded at his comment. The two surveyed the docks of Vermillion City. Sailors and their pokemon scurried about with large boxes preparing to load and unload other ships in the harbor. "Maybe we should visit the Pokemon center and upload some new maps. We dont really have much information about Kanto. The islands were much smaller than this place."
The two walked at a brisk pace off of the dock and into the city. Mag quickly located the Gym and the Pokemart. He would have to go to those places later. But for now it was to the pokemon center.
"Welcome." Said Nurse Joy behind the main counter. "If your pokemon need healing or you want to rest you've come to the right place."
"My pokemon is in good condition right now. I was wondering if I could get a few maps of the Kanto region or any other places that you have maps of."
"Those are located over at the desk to my left. If you have any other questions feel free to ask." The Nurse gestured toward a shelf of the other side of the room.
"Thanks." Mag quickly walked over and pulled out a few of the brochures. "Hm... I should definatly catch a few more pokemon before I try to take down some gyms. Maybe I'll just drift around for a while. We can use this city as our home base and just do some training. Okay Sunfire lets go!" The two left the center after promptly reserving a room. They headed North towards Saffron City.

Roars filled the air as two pokemon clashed. The two were attacking each other vigorously. They were wearing each other out. The sky alternated between sunny and clear to dark and rainy. It seemed the world was their playground and they were using it to it's fullest. Waters were thrown his way. In return, he dished out massive forms of earth and the raging plasma of fire.
The battle waged in his mind endlessly. It always ended in the same manner. The two pokemon, exhausted from their battle, fall to the ground to rest. Years pass by. Eventually, the land changes. Sculpting around their forms, creating natural caves. Natural prisons. This time was different, however. The dreams ended with a bright flash. He opened his eyes and looked around. He was sitting in a magma pit inside of a cave. There were no other pokemon in sight. He let out a massive roar that shook the cavern. His awesome voice echoed all throughout the caves. The ground seemed to tremble as he fully came into conscienceness.
The mighty Groudon had awakened.

Chapter 2
Mag and Sunfire walked for quite some time. They walked quickly on route 10 avoiding other trainers and sticking to the trails in the woods. The two ran quickly and suddenly spotted a wild spearow.
"Okay Sunfire! It is time to train! Use tail whip on Spearow!" Shouted Mag as the bird dove from the tree at the two. Sunfire quickly wagged his tail as the Spearow flew down and attempted to Peck him. Sunfire was hit by the attack and cringed as the bird took to the skies again.
"Nice job Sunfire. Make sure to use the leftovers Grandma gave us. Now wait for it to come back down and use Tackle!" Sunfire watched as Spearow turned in the air and made its way back toward him. Just as it was about to close in Sunfire jumped to the side and quickly jumped back at the bird. Since he was quite a bit larger than it the Spearow was catapulted into the ground.
"Finish it with another tackle!" Mag cheered as Sunfire dashed at the bird and bashed it into submission. "Great work. I think that deserves... TEN LAPS AROUND THIS TRAIL! Off we go!!" The two darted off down the trail at a brisk pace making sure to check for other wild pokemon worth battling.

"I don't think Nightmare would mind somehow," Keegan laughed. He admired how much all her Pokemon seemed to like her. "I hope someday I can have a great team like yours," he said. He wasn't really jealous, or really all that envious either, just humbled. Everyone's gotta start somewhere, he thought. And I started only just recently. I'll catch up someday. He smiled, stopping and looking out the window.
"So what now?" he asked, after a moment or two of thought. "Are you heading off on your own now?"

((I've had a hard time coming up with what to do next. xd )) The smoke slowly drifted away, revealing Electrode, static coursing over its body. It didn't move.
"That's it," Kasiya called. "Electrode is unable to battle! Espeon is the victor!"
"I gotta say, that's my favourite tactic! Bwahahaa!" Surge gave a large laugh. "Learned that one from the Colonel," he said, raising a hand to his chin thoughtfully, his eyes holding a faraway look. "I remember that day well. We were-"
"Dad, send out your next Pokemon!" Kasiya said, rolling her eyes. "Now isn't the time for your old war stories!"
"Maybe later then" Surge grinned, holding up a Pokeball. "Here goes! Let's go!" he threw it, revealing a long-legged, blue and yellow Pokemon, eletricity crackling over its lean body.
"Manectric?" Kasiya asked, forgetting her position.
"Yep," Surge grinned. "You may recognize her, Kassie. She's Manny's daughter!"
"Oh wow," Kasiya gasped, looking excited. Shocker sat contentedly on her head, almost as if she'd taken over role as referee. "Okay! Go!"
"Go Manectric! Get in there with a Quick Attack! Follow up with Bite!" Surge cried, back in the battle spirit.

"Okay, I'm ready," said Anna, taking a deep breath. "Just for fun." She threw a Pokeball on the gym floor, revealling a pink Pokemon with a long tail, and big, round eyes, and a faraway look on its dopey facey.
"I think I've seen one of those before," Jaeshan said, scratching his forhead.
"Sloooooooooooow!" it said, tilting its yead and yawning.
"It's Slowpoke!" Anna cheered. "Okay! Use your Water Gun!"
"Sloooow!" Slowpoke raised its head and sprayed a stream of water into Jaeshan's face.
"Could you at least wait until I send out my Pokemon?" Jaeshan chuckled as Rose handed him a towel.
"Oh that's right. I'm supposed to wait until there's an oppsing Pokemon before we attack. I'm so sorry." Her face turned scarlet.
"It's okay, really," Jaeshan said. "It's down to you! Go, Butterfree!"
The butterfly chittered and flapped her wings, happy to be freed. She circled the air around Jaeshan. "Alright, Butterfree! Start things off with a Tackle!"
Butterfree swooped down and struck Slowpoke with her body. The sluggish pink Pokemon didn't respond - until about five seconds later. Its face twisted, and it moaned.
"Now use Water Gun!" cried Anna. Butterfree prepared herself for the attack - which didn't seem to come right away. Finally, Slowpoke released the attack, which Butterfree turned away with a forceful Whirlwind, creating a shower of droplets all over the gym.

"Wow, pretty!" gasped Jess.
"Ooh that's so cool!" cheered Anna. "Okay Slowpoke! Use Disable!"
Slowpoke took a step forward, and an eerie bluish light surrounded the Butterfly Pokemon. When it finally faded, Butterfree realized she could no longer use Whirlwind.
"Smart," grinned Jaeshan. "Now she can't turn back Water Gun anymore. Oh well. Butterfree! Use Gust!"
Butterfree flapped her wings vigorously, sending a sharp gust of wind that struck Slowpoke head on. It moaned after a few seconds, and retaliated with a Water Gun that seemed to strike just the right spot.
"Psybeam!" cried Jaeshan, and Butterfree fired a multi-coloured beam at her opponent. Slowpoke didn't seemed phased at all.

"Slowpoke use Confusion!" cried Anna. Slowpoke gave a confused look before executing its attack. Butterfree seemed shaken up.
"Uh oh," Jaeshan said to himself. "She can't take much more of this...better think of something....Right! Butterfree! Use Poisonpowder!"
Butterfree chittered in reply, and flapped her wings at a very high speed, releasing a rain of silky, purple, highly toxic dust over top of Slowpoke. It shuddered as the poison took effect, and fired another Water Gun at Butterfree. She managed to avoid most of the hit, but still took some damage. Slowpoke had been severely weakend from the poison, but the battle was far from over yet.
"Butterfree! Use Supersonic!" cried Jaeshan. Butterfree emitted a high-pitched tone, causing confusion. Slowpoke's expression didn't change though.
"Use Confusion!" cried Anna, looking afraid. Slowpoke staggered before using the Psychic attack. Butterfree took a hit, and fell towards the ground, catching herself before she hit.
"Nice recovery, Butterfree! Use Tackle!" said Jaeshan, feeling confident.
Butterfree attempted the attack, but managed to slightly injure herself. She'd become confused after Slowpoke's last Confusion.

Stephanie re-entered the Poke Center.
"Hello there, are you back again?" said the nurse, eyeing two pokeballs ready in Stephanie's hand.
"Yep, and this time I've got two.." she said, smiling at Beam's pokeball. "Come out Sparkle, come out Beam," she said as she released the Pichu and Eevee. The nurse grasped the two pokemon hastily.
"I've heard that there are small trainer fights going on now, a kind of tournament. So, I better heal your pokemon quickly, before we get bombarded with trainers." she explained. Once again, she placed the pokemon on a strange machine. Stephanie carefully watched.
"Thank you for waiting. I have healed your pokemon. Have a nice day and we hope to see you again," the nurse chanted. Stephanie took her two pokeballs and released Pichu and Eevee.
"You guys ready? We're going to a tournament!" she said as Sparkle and Beam jumped up and down in happiness.
"Piii!!!" Sparkle squeeked, her eyes glittering in excitement.
"Eeee-vee!" Beam said as she began to get worried that she wasn't good enough to beat the other powerful pokemon...

(( Sorry Inu, my internet hasn't been working at all lately. I'm at the libaray right now so I'm posting this. >> It should be fixed by Thursday or Friday.
Sawaki, you are in Hoenn, he's in Jhoto. There is no way for you to battle one another unless you met up at the same place in the same region. >>

(( Yay! My internet is back! ))
"I don't know," she stated flatly, "perhaps I'll tag along with you if you'll let me?" Maybe it would take her mind off of things if she traveled with someone new. "Where are you headed? Towards the gym?" she asked in return.
Mitsu's Pokemon played around on the Pokemon Center's floor. Ebony and Ivy resumed their game of tag. Ebony continued to float around as Ivy's vines attempted to tag him. Karri seemed content floating just above the ground next to Mitsu and Sapphire had taken his place at the bottom of Mitsu's feet. All her Pokemon seemed content and she smiled.

(( Take the train to Mauville and you can battle Keegan, or you both could go against me. ^^ But we should meet up, it's much more fun to RP with another person. ))
"Confusion Aura!" Seth said as a wave of pyschic powers emited from Aura's mind. The Manetric seemed to run through it taking little to no damage and hit the Espeon following up by biting her. Seth winced, knowing that Aura couldn't sustain much physical damage. "Psybeam at point blank!" Seth called out as the Pokemon released the mutli-colored beam at the Manetric's face. Release that grip you've got on Aura! We'll have to fight far ranged for this fight not to mention any physical contact could lead to parylsis. Seth focused on the battle intently hardly noticing Kasiya standing just outside the ring. If Aura can't pull through then it'll be all up to Aero. . .
