Well, see I don't want him to walk or hitch-hike is the problem. Lol he spent about 10 minutes one day trying to convince me that he wouldn't walk, he would take his 'invisible car that when he drove it looked like he was walking' Sometimes I worry that he's being serious.
And that sounds fun!

So, is anyone doing anything fun? From what I've been hearing in real life and on Gaia, most people are only doing okay or something bad has happened in their lives. My life still isn't down is "normal" stress levels yet. Hearing some uplifting stories would be refreshing. heart

I am casting for my Senior Direct tomorrow after school, that's pretty exciting, hee hee. I am directing a comical, 20-25 minute play based on Geoffery Chaucer's Canterbury Tales story from the Wife of Bath. Should be fun, although I'm not sure how easy it will be to cast.
And (Min, you might have already read this in the common room) I bought a guild a while back to use for a vampire RP, and then I lost interest in the idea sort of. Not really lost interest, but kind of lost the flow with the story. So now I own this guild, and I have no idea what to do with it. I can't sell it because I can't find anyone to buy it. I figure I'll go ahead and make a guild, but I can't think of what to make it about. Any suggestions?

You know how all of the characters in it are introduced with descriptions done in rhyming couplets? The miller, the knight, the priest, and whatnot? Two years ago in English class, we had an assignment to add in another character, meaning we had to write a poem that was a minumum of 20 lines about observations we were making about an individual. It could be based on a real person, or someone entirely fabricated.
Pieter, one of my best friends who happened to be in my class, wrote his about me and called it The Reader. I was very touched. whee Mine wound up being 26 lines, and guess who it was about? C'mon, guess!!! It was...*drumroll*...based on Snape! I called it The Spy. It turned out REALLY well! You know, I should probably upload it onto my FanFiction.net account...
Ah, yes, you're right. I read and commented on that in the Gryff Common Room. 3nodding

I got it all casted, I was the only director who got all of their first picks from actors, all the others had to give at least one up! All my actors had my play as the first one that they would like to be in the most, so when I asked for them I got them. And yeah, we read it in English, and then we had to write our own modern Canterbury tale in groups of 4. My group we all made a decision on the story and then wrote it normal and then I did it in the format of the Tales. It was about an artist woman who made beautiful art but was very plain, and she had been made fun of when she was a child. She knew she wasn't pretty, but at a gallery showing of her art she over heard a guy saying that if he met the artist he would marry her. She introduces herself, expecting him to take it back, but he asks her on a date and they end up getting married, and he turns out to be rich, so she gets true love, money, and is still able to do what she loves. Cheesy and romantic, but it was pretty good.
And that is a way good idea, about the guild.

That's really cute, Mia! 4laugh I like the original Wife of Bath story, but I felt that that she was a bit too...flirtatious for the time that she lived in. Some theories suggest that she was based on Elanor of Aquataine, whom I find fascinating.

My dad's dad is now cancer-free! biggrin biggrin My mum's mum isn't yet. She's actually been in the hospital for the past 6 weeks ever since her lung collapsed, and she contracted a staff infection while she was there. sad You'd think a hospital would be a place where you CAN'T become ill.

My grandmother is still ill, but at least the doctors took her off of the medication that was making her act like she was losing her mind.
I just won 2K in real life for an essay that I wrote! biggrin Wanna know the best part? I mentioned Remus in the essay! biggrin biggrin biggrin I'm going to see if I can travel to mainland Europe with the money.

I came here just wondering about if the results from Fall Term? are ever going to be posted? We haven't had an update for almost two months.
