Picture Request
If anyone has, finds, can make, or knows someone who can make an awesome full body picture similar to the one in the spoiler below (First Panel), I'd appreciate it greatly. Pay for it even if commissioned. I don't care about gender or character or anything, just having it a full body image (Preferably with no or solid background), with the character holding talismans. The intent is to replace the picture for the sealing master profession.

You know, there is a whole lot of inactivity, and not a lot of Hiatus logging. >.>
Aside from that, Would the ability to double think work more for a Talent, or could it actually be used as a clan?

Double think? You're gonna have to be a bit more clear on what that one even means.

Yeah, that does kinda limit activity. Double Think, it is from 1984, and it is the process of accepting two conflicting things as fact. Like if you accepted fire is hot, but at the same time fire is cold. they're conflicting, and they'd allow you to work around fire without fearing the flames themselves. The Party used it as a way to negate all thoughts of democracy in the people, but maintain themselves as the guardians of it, as you can plainly read. The way I'd have it though as a clan or talent is that the character can maintain two distinct thoughts at the same time, such as utilizing a genjutsu and still responding to other opponents. Normally the reason someone can't move while using genjutsu is because it requires them to focus on the illusion, but by having two separate thought processes, it would free the user up to remain mobile, or even having two different genjutsu going at once. (Which would then immobilize the user.) It could also allow the user to realize they're in a genjutsu faster since they'd have two thought processes processing information, or while they're using only one thought process, they're automatically analyzing everything in the surroundings to the point they'll pick up on an illusion faster than the normal person. (I was thinking of making it a genjutsu based Clan/Bloodline with that as it's main ability.) It sounds like it could beabused, but I think in the long run, and after some tweaking, it could be a pretty balanced talent/clan/bloodline. (A major weakness would be that they'd be able to be affected by two genjutsu at once, and then they'd have severe mental dissonance because they're experiencing two different things at once.) I'm gonna go ahead and say no. For one thing your description of what it does (The ability to believe 100% in two contradicting facts simultaneously.) does not match your description of what you want it to do (The ability to have two simultaneous though processes, or two minds.). The former, while silly, could be done with any character without the need for a talent, though I honestly can't see why one would wish to do it. The latter though, would just be faster thinking due to having two minds. The most it would really give is reaction or focus benefits. Reaction for the same reason as Tactical gives the bonus, and focus because one mind could focus while the other works. However, given that anything we put focus on we did so because not having it would make the ability OP... Yeah... Not happening.
Two minds would not in fact give the ability to use more jutsu at a time than normal. Not unless you also had extra limbs. This discussion was had some time ago on whether or not Kumo clan (Spider) members could use extra jutsu due to their extra limbs. The end result was that, because they lack the extra minds to perform the extra functions necessary, they could not. The same applies here in reverse.
Only a few genjutsu automatically negate the user's ability to move. And most that do do so because to do otherwise would give the user the ability to autokill their target as soon as the genjutsu connected. Not exactly fair.
Genjutsu users can already use multiple genjutsu at once. I'm pretty sure combo user grants that ability, and the updated profession will as well. And anyone can be affected by multiple genjutsu, so that's not exactly a weakness. If you get hit by a hundred genjutsu, and fail to fend any off, you're under a hundred genjutsu. Good luck with that.

I'm not trying to make it use the same premise as the 1984 version, I just think the term Doublethink would be the best name for it.
I understand. ^>^ (Though in my opinion, unless Genjutsu user's have the benefit to use multiple genjutsu, they shouldn't be allowed to utilize more than one.)

Apologies for the wait guys. I picked up not one, but three pretty awesome games recently. Finished one pretty quick and kept right on going here, but the other two seem to have conspired to take over my life in recent days. Civilization games are ridiculously addictive once you get playing them... Anyways, I shall endeavor to get posts up for you both sometime today.

But yeah, I actually intended to make my posts on Monday (Sundays I tend to take off, though I do sometimes post anyways.), but started up a campaign in Civ 5 that kept me hooked into the game until 3 AM or so. The only other Civ game I've played is 3, and I'm rather liking the changes they made to this one. It feels a lot more strategic. I actually have to plan my moves before getting into a fight, rather than just sending a massive pile of soldiers in. (Because they made unit stacking impossible)

I picked up some steam cards after finally getting some of my pay a couple weeks ago, and bought AC Revelations on Steam, since it's not in stores anymore. Finished that, and went to get AC3, just as the summer sale came up. So, the amount I had gotten that was enough for the two games, and maybe a cheap game or expansion pack DLC on the side, because enough for both games, Civ V, and potentially another expansion or really cheap game still. Was pretty awesome I think. XD
