Cut thistles in May,
They'll grow in a day;

[Burrpelt twitched his tail-tip. He was quiet for a moment before answering.] "That sounds fine with me. Featherheart?" [He looked at the she-cat beside him. His skin still burned with embarassment and he was sure it showed in his eyes, like all emotions did for him. Burrpelt ran a paw over his muzzle in a calm manner though he was far from it.]That is too soon;
Cut them in July,
Then they will die.

I heard an annoyed and frightened yowl at the back of my head. Stop him, he'll fall! Cinderstreak growled frantically.
I snorted. "Stop it, he'll be fine. He's just a little dizzy, that's all," I meowed, my light blue eyes glittering in the sunlight. I grinned, a toothy smile dancing across my muzzle.
I felt something small land on my tail, and I froze, my blood turning to slush. I yowled, jumping into the air. I felt myself thump against the tree, and I heard a loud ribbit. I narrowed my eyes, growling. "Mousedung, it's just a frog," I growled to myself. My eyes were mere slits, and I growled even louder as I heard Cinderstreak howling with laughter. "Shut up, it wasn't funny!" I snarled out loud, swiping at the air in front of my. Cinderstreak seemed to unmoved by this action because he laughed even harder.

[Shutting his eyes to block out the feeling of the world spinning around him, Lustrepaw tentatively took another step up the tree. He felt like he was about to fall any minute, and clung on to the tree for dear life.]
"Ok, a couple more steps..."
[He meowed quietly to himself as he raised one paw off the trunk, about to take another step...when Cinderstreak suddenly yowled loudly underneath him. In his shock, he let go with both front paws before he realised what happened.]
"Whaa - "
[The instinctive righting reflex inborn in all cats took hold before he realised what happened. He landed clumsily on his front paws, but his nose crashed into the ground before he could stop himself.]
"Ow...why'd doo yuwl?" (Ow, why'd you yowl?)
[He asked while covering his slightly bloody nose with one paw, glaring daggers at his mentor.]

I growled slightly.] "Jeez kid, keep going at this rate, you're going to die at an early age!" I meowed, kind of stunned. How could a cat be so clumsy?! I smirked slightly. "Kinda reminds me of Cinderstreak," I meowed absentmindedly, my eyes glittering in amusement.
I coughed. "I'm going to have to feed you to the crows! And trust me, I don't want to do that! I admitted, looking at my paws. My beautiful blue eyes flickered from each of my surroundings, until they rested on Lustrepaw once more. "You're not going to start crying on me, are you?" I asked warily. I didn't do good with whiners. I shuddered slightly.

[Groggily, she scanned her surroundings. 'Barren.' Registered in her mind -Though is was most certainly far from it-, as she pulled herself together. With a quick, dusty shake of her spiked fur, Barkwind slipped into the woods. Hunting ,of course.]

[Sullenpaw let out a small huff as she nodded to Firestorm, she hid her irritation 'you should be grateful, you stupid kit!' she scolded herself silently in her head before she began, jumping from branch to branch with ease- but it wasn't good enough. She increased her speed, risking slipping a few times before she landed. content with her third run as her breaths came in short bursts, looking up at Firestorm for approval, as she did the last time.]

[Lustrepaw growled angrily while still covering his bloody, now slightly swollen nose with both paws. He wasn't lying though, it really was Cinderstreak's fault. Suddenly yowlling like that for no reason! Any cat would have fallen off, not just him!]
"I don wand du feed da cwows..." (I don't want to feed the crows...)
[He meowed again, this time quieter as he gazed up into Cinderstreak's blue eyes with an expression as though he was about to start bawling any minute. A couple of heartbeats later, however, he started squinting as he looked into Cinderstreak's eyes.]
"Blue! Ad you just said you had greed dyes!" (Blue! And you just said you had green eyes!) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Cedarpaw & Oakpaw
[The two twins simultaneously looked up from what they were doing, their eyes bright with curiosity.]
"Yeah okay. But Cedarpaw would go with me, right?" Oakpaw said almost expecting a yes.
"Yeah, we can't go anywhere alone." Cedarpaw chimed in nodding.
Oakpaw jumped in excitement, yowling, "Cuz we're the--!! . . . shoot, Cedarpaw, what starts with a 'p'?"
Cedarpaw thought for a moment, before replying, "Er, pasty?"
"No, you mousebrain!! We can't be the Pasty Pair!!" Oakpaw said indignantly.
"Oh, oh, gotcha...."
[The two toms sat there thinking, there eyes glued to the floor. Eventually, their minds clicked, and they looked up at each other with mischievous eyes.]
"The Perilous Pair!!" the both screamed for the whole Clan to hear, collapsing to the ground in a fit of giggles.
