 Mosstar started to calm down, truing not to think about Fathom. "I guess your right." Mosstar dipped her head toward the young leader, who spoke like a cat from Starclan. "We should have spoken it out first." Mosstar then noddded, "or four cats could have been saved."

[Fathom snarled angrily at the cats, his fur bristling.]
"We didn't trust him at first," he snarled, "but the scents we found across the border ranged from stale to fresh. SeaClan was inspecing our territory from the beginning! Darkshadow was telling the truth about you crossing the border several times. How could we not think he was telling the truth about you attacking? Besides, he told us you wrongly accused him of attacking Rainpaw when he had nothing to do with it. So far, he's been telling the truth the whole time. So I don't see why we have to listen to your lies."
[Fathom shuddered angrily.]
"SeaClan has no proof that they're telling the truth. Don't you see? I had to protect my clanmates, and my mate! Leopardstorm's pregnant. She would've died in a battle like this. Besides, we didn't attack your nursery or your kits. Does this prove to you that we aren't here to kill?"
(( Cool. So let's just say Darkshadow's been planning this all along and made SeaClan scents in NightClan territory periodically. : D He's getting more devious now all of a sudden ohoho. ))

  Is honesty so hard to achieve?
Is trust so hard to earn?══════════════════════════════════════════ [Silverstar and her warriors bounded into the SeaClan camp, horrified at the sight of it. At least the fighting had stopped, and Silverstar was thankful for that. She didn't want her warriors to spill needless blood. She was the eldest of all the leaders, the wisest. She overhead the reason for this battle and snarled.]
"All of you are acting like mouse-brains! You come and attack on the one word of a SeaClan cat? You don't even wait for more evidence!" the she-cat yowled angrily, her fur bristling. "I refuse to fight such a pointless battle. I'm not putting my warriors' lives at stake for nothing," Silverstar meowed, common sense taking hold of her.
[She remained in her spot, willing any cat to challenge her. She peered closely at Fathom. She could clearly feel the waves of evil rolling off of him. She shook her head and flipped her tail angrily, her fur bristling.] ══════════════════════════════════════════Nobility, faith, bravery, loyalty...
All makings of a true warrior.

"Fathom, listen to us. Darkshadow's probably been planning this all along! He did try to kill Rainpaw! Many warriors saw it with their own eyes! Listen to Silverstar. Listen to me. This is pointless"

Mosstar started to bristle, "Fathom listen! Darkshadow is a traitor! I saw him once try to kill Rainpaw, and that is why I banished him, he is a filthy piece of Foxdung! and he doesnt deserve to be called a clan cat!" Mosstar spoke firmly, but honestly.

[Fathom shook his head at Silverstar.]
"I thought you'd understand the need to protect a mate," Fathom said softly, pain shuddering through him.
[Suddenly there was a snap inside his head.
the voice hissed.
No no! You can't gain control, not now!
Shut up, you! You've caused the death of three of my clanmates! I'm putting an end to this!
the air around Fathom changed. Suddenly he was no longer malicious and furious, but sorrowful and seemingly guilty.]
"I'm sorry," he whispered to Mosstar, crimson eyes hollow. "I acted on impulse. The thought of my mate being hurt, and my clanmates..."
He trailed off and sighed before saying, "My reckless actions have caused the death of three of my noble clanmates. SeaClan, I apologize. What should we do with Darkshadow? He has lied and pitted me against a noble Clan..."

DARKKSHADOW "Evil has taken over." [Darkshadow was looking at Rainpaw from a distance.] "My plan is working.. They have all fallen for it.. Fathom still thinks I'm an innocent cat. Oh.. Might as well give up.. I'm bored I just want Rainpaw dead.." [Darkshadow unsheathed his claws and tackled down Rainpaw.] "Die you kittypet!" [Darkshadow aimed for her throat.]

]"Hel-" [Her words had been cut off. Darkshadow was choking her to death. She tried to breath, but it was no use. She tried hard to fight him, but she couldn't.]

[Windstreak yowled angrily as Darkshadow attacked. He leapt at the warrior, but missed and barreled into Thunderflight, who misunderstood the situation. She hissed and began to fight with the BreezeClan cat, not understanding that it was a mistake because it happened too fast for her to realize.
Poppydaze leapt on top of Thunderflight, trying to rip her off. The StormClan cats hissed angrily, fur rising.
Shadowgaze and Blackflame howled, mistaking Darkshadow's attack for their leader's command, and both leapt at a cat. Shadowgaze barreled into Frostfern and Blackflame flew at a cat, only to barrel accidentally into Silverstar.
Oops! she thought, but she couldn't stop herself from reflexively swiping at the leader with her paw, scoring scratches along Silverstar's flank.]

Mosstar nodded to Fathom, "Seaclan accepts your apology Fathom and I hope you can forgive me and my clan for having Darkshadow." Mosstar apologized. "But I have no idea what we shall do with Darkshadow. We could cast him out as a loner. What do you suggest?"

"Indeed, I do understand. But you'd only be putting yourself in more danger in attacking this Clan, and think how well you'd have been protecting your mate if you had died?" Silverstar pressed, her eyes narrowing.
[She jumped as she heard a yowl behind her. She turned and yanked the gray cat off the apprentice, throwing him at Mossstar's paws.]
"Is that your traitor?" she asked.
[The silver cat turned and ripped her warriors off of the cats, hissing at them as she shoved them back and then shoved the NightClan warriors back as well.]
"Control yourselves! This is no killing streak! Get back to your Clans. Settle this amongst yourselves. StormClan is leaving," Silverstar bellowed, her emerald eyes angered.
[Her fur bristling, she stood up. She waved her tail to her warriors as she started to turn away from the SeaClan camp.] ══════════════════════════════════════════Nobility, faith, bravery, loyalty...
All makings of a true warrior.

[Fathom gasped as Darkshadow attacked, and as Shadowgaze and Blackflame misunderstood the situation.]
"No, don't attack!" he cried, but they didn't hear him.
[He felt somehting shift in him.]
He whipped around to Mosstar and said quickly, "Mosstar, something's happening to me, I can barely control myself, there's something making me do evil things, please understand that if I hurt you it's not me and I am sorry with all my heart and soul for taking your life, you have to stay back-"
[He froze and gagged. His eyes bulged out and he yowled in pain.
Let me back in charge.
I can't---!
Too late. The voice ripped its way to the front. It grinned, acting as Fathom once more, then barreled into Mosstar, seeking to take another life.
Shadowgaze heard Fathom's yowl and hissed.]
"Wretched SeaClan cats, attacking while we're trying to talk it out!" she yowled.

Mosstar looked down at Darkshadow and then at Silverstar, "Yes- Yes he is and I take full responsibility of what he has done." Mosstar looked down at her paws like a kit who just got in trouble by a queen. "But I dont have any idea how to punish him, only that we should cast him out as a loner."
Mosstar then saw Fathom seethe with rage again, "Warriors go to your dens! Fathom listen to me, fight the evil." Mosstar wailed.
