Asly rotated both hands outward forcing him to open himself with the claws deep in his palms. She pulled herself forward whil picking her feet up and kicking hard into his abs forcing her in the opposet direction. Sliding to a crouched halt she looked at him with a wicked grin. " Hi im Asly."
Serand gave a firm look as the demon stood in the shed still. He moved the sword behind him spinning the tip toward the air. The broadsword became red as he held it there for a few moments. " Fine ill make the first move." Serand swung into the front of the shed the blade bursting into flames as it moved through the air. He had hit the shed setting it on fire and hoping to force out the demon.
Lisan was in a slow flight taking his time to get there. he knew Ash could hold his own and would weaken those who were of no consequence. Just as he had made an adjust ment he saw a strange person running the other way. Looks like the others will be back soon.

Rave tried to smile, but it still only came out as that ghost of a smile that he has always given her. Be thankful that you can even do that you heartless b*****d. Heart clenching slightly, as he his his pain by resting his head on stop of Gambler's head, which wasn't near as far down as her shoulder. "You smell nice..." Muttering this, he didn't realize that it was said out loud. Once he did though, the man just shut up like a clam. Bad Rave...you know that she's your boss, and you know that she's not someone that would like you other than as an ally. Think. You're a heartless b*****d who doesn't really care about anything. Why would someone as entertaining as this woman here care about you at all?
The thoughts were harsh, but Rave had to agree with them. Gambler had said that she liked him being himself, but then again...what did she really know about him? Yes, his boss now knew some of his past. She knew about Lucien. But...still. What Gambler didn't know was him. At least, not yet. Maybe she never would...
"Ok." One word. That's all it was. But that one little word had so much meaning behind it. Dusk leaned against Kyoshi, feeling at ease, feeling as if nothing had happened between them or that all it was was just one of their normal little bickers. Holding onto the tall man, she smiled. "I miss you, Kyoshi..."
Talon was leaning against the railing of the second story loft of the club, a drink in hand as he smiled. In his view was Dusk and Kyoshi. The slow song had worked. They had been talking yes, but Dusk was a sucker for slow songs. He gave the DJ a thumbs up and the man winked at him. Talon sweat dropped and hoped that it was just a friendly one. He didn't need another Kalore moment...
Standing behind the twins, Eldin muttered, "I can fight you know..." His hand had a slight glow to it, but you'd have to be close to it to see. The boy was younger than any of the other mages in the haven, but Eldin was the best. Second only to Rave now that the king and prince were dead. Though, he didn't mind not being in the fight. He could fight...but the boy definitely didn't like it.

Joker hunched over. His hands were cut up and bloodied but they did the most amazing thing. They healed themselves. Joker wasn't a doctor for no reason so he knew that because of certain meds he could heal wounds. How do you think he sewed up his stomache after the fight with Elke and still survive without getting medical attention? Joker was a man of mysteries too, but the kind that is scary and mental. "Go to see that there is some manners in you, Asly. I am your murderer. It's an honor to meet you. Would you kindly state your business and be on your way? I do have other guests that would like to stay alive." He said looking at her. He had two different gauges needles that contained a certain concoction that was lethal and made the person feel things ten times worse.
Monty shook his head. "Foolish boy. Give me your name, rank and the name of your master so that I may have the honor of giving him your disgraceful head as a gift." He said to Serand. Monty's shed was on fire and there was explosives and that was very dangerous. Especially since others were in the house and they too would get blown up. A pity because he was about to go in there and get to know the new additions to the team. Oh well, such a shame.
The Twins looked at him with emotionless mask. "Gambler would be upset if anything happened to you." Ivan said. "She likes you all and it would be a shame to lose new friends. You are family now and well, this is our job. Bodyguards." Hans said. "Plus you were supposed to be resting so no fighting for you, my friend." They both said to together. They might even have to leave as soon as possiable.
Gambler was surprised that Rave rested his head against hers and then was opened mouth that he said she smelled good. It was so strange but somehow, she liked that compliment only because it came from him. She leaned into his body keeping their heads rested against each other. "Want to know a secret?" She whispered her question. 'I think you should really steal him away, ride off into the sunset on a big white horse and live happliy ever after. Like in those romance novels.' Mentally rolling her eyes she kicked that thought away. Rave was an elf and he most likely doesn't like women who are non elf. She was a seraph. What Seraph had a heart as black as hers like, lust or love someone? None. She couldn't let Rave's life be in danger constantly because she was a boss of an entire city.
Gambler cared enough to agree with that. 'But you know you would tear this city up if they so much as looked at him the wrong way. I mean, otherwise you would have let those females jump him.' She kicked her conscience again. The hand that rested on Rave's back became something more than just a friendly touch so that other's don't get him. Now she realized that it was a possessive hand that would pluck every females eyes out and cut off their hands for looking at Rave and trying to touch him. Thank God she wore sunglasses because then Rave would have seen the so much emotion in her eyes because then he would walk away. 'Then do the thing he does. Where he doesn't show anything. Nah, I couldn't hide from him like that.' And she wouldn't. That wasn't her style.
Kyoshi gave a small smile. "That's funny because I miss you too." He replied. He did. He missed the bickering and the teasings. He missed them just talking and getting to know each other, getting a better understanding out each other. And he missed just laying in her arms. He missed her scent tickling his nose and calling her 'Kitten.'

Asly smiled as she stared at his hands. "Neat trick. I'm sure you'll land several killing blows. but will it be enough?" Her eyes began to glow as she charged again. This time she swung several times both with swipes and jabs anticipating him to dodge or block like he had just done.
Serand spun the sword in an extravagant manor in front of him. As the blade finaly came to a rest he smiled with a red glow to his eyes. "I've told you whom i represent already. or are you so slow that you cant put two and two together?" Lifting the sword high into the air with one hand behind him. Serand brought it back down with another flaming strike setting the ground of the doorway on fire. " Come fight me! Ill devour your Burnt corpse!"
Lisan spotted Asly out front fighting with another strange man. He landed lightly on a building across the street. Watching on as he began to summon his own weapon from the void. Just in time for the fireworks. Just as he pulled the katana from the void he noticed the small glow of a fire on the other side of the house. He better not get too carried away

Looking at Joker's hands, Eldin had a wide eyed look. "He heals himself..." The boy wanted to learn how to do that, badly. Never had he seen anyone be able to regenerate, at least that's what it looked like Joker did. But, looking at the twins, he sighed. "Fine. So do I just stand here?" Eldin hated that. It made him feel useless. But, when he was about to just give in to what the boys wanted him to do, Eldin sniffed the air. "What the..." His eyes were wide.
"Fire."
Rave looked at Gambler, parting from her slightly. "Hm? A secret? Sure." He didn't know what she was going to tell him, but whatever it was, he would listen to it. When parted, Rave actually noticed how close they really were. He was slightly shocked that he allowed himself to get this close to anyone, seeing as Rave was not a trusting person. And getting near a person like this...even if it was someone who knew a lot about him compared to other people, was much different than what he was used to.
But you don't mind, Rave. And you know it. Rave sighed, not realizing that he could be heard by the woman who was right in front of him "I know that..." Muttering this softly, he widened his eyes slightly when it was realized that he spoke out loud.
Dusk was happy to hear those words from Kyoshi and she grinned at him. But, as much as she tried to be that carefree Dusk that everyone knew her as, she just couldn't do it. Quickly, she became the one that was with Kyoshi when things were tough or things were needing to be done. The serious one. Locking her arms around his neck, Dusk pulled him close.
"I don't know what to do, Kyo..." The old name came naturally, but it was spoken softly. Hopefully..hopefully he would come back with some name for her. Hopefully. She just wanted a reminder that things weren't toally over. That there was still a chance.
She needed to know that there was still a chance.
Looking down below him, Talon grinned. Paying for his drink, the man walked out of the club. His job was done. There was no more reason really for him to be there. Yes. Talon still loved Dusk. That much he knew. But he also knew that Dusk didn't love him. She loved Kyoshi. In the past few days, that love has been challenged, but he could see it. It was still there.
All they had to do was find it again.
Once he was out of the club, Talon ran into a familiar face. "Hey. Thought you bailed on us." "Nope." Golden eyes grinned as Ziggy brushed away his dark blue hair. "I'm still here."

Joker looked thoughtful. "I do hope it is enough. Otherwise you have wasted my time." He said dodging but went in for a quick opening and back hand slapped her. Then he took his foot and smashed it into her face holding her down on the ground with it. "What is your business here?" He asked looking at her with the same chilling look and a tone to match it.
Monty lifted a shoulder in a nonchalant manner. His domain was the fire so it wouldn't bother him one bit nor would it kill him. Unless you knew how which was Gambler's secret alone. "You are nothing but a reckless child to be challenging me on so greater in power and skills then you. I'm giving you a chance to be gone. You didn't even state your business because had you wanted to kill me, you would have done so with my guard down and in another undisclosed location so that the rest of the team wouldn't stop it and destory you." He said still holding his sword in his hand.
The Twins looked at each other with alarm and opened the kitchen door, looking through the window that the shed was on fire. "Oh my god." They said together. "We have to leave." Hans said with a shocked expression. "This place is going to blow up." Ivan confirmed with a nod. Man nothing got through to these guys that death was constantly upon them ready to ake away their lives. "Eldin, we taken you out now. Monty and Joker will stay behind. If that is okay." Hans said. They needed to because Monty was a short fuse like his weapons and Joker was a loose cannon ready to fire at any moment.
Out of nowhere, Kyoshi kissed Dusk's forehead. "I don't know either...." 'Kitten.' He finished in his mind. Stupid tongue didn't move to say it. "Then again, you can start by not calling me Kyo....Kitten." He said. He missed that word the most he decided. Hoping against hope that they can get passed everything.
Gambler pouted. "You mean you already knew the secret? Are you psychic? Now, that's a very scary thing Rave. I'm going to cry now. My secret has been ruined." She teased and layed her head against his chest in mock sadness. 'He knows what? What does Mr. Mysterious know that I don't? Oh wait his whole life. Which is more guarded the Fort Knox from back in the day.' She thought. A wave of curiousity came into her but she didn't voice anything, just enjoyed the feel of his warmth and spicy scent.

Eldin nodded, "We just need to go, now." As powerful of a mage that Eldin was, fire was not his element. Earth and water and a little air. That was really the extent of his power. Yes, fire could be used as a weapon, but not controlled. There was no way that Eldin wanted to practice now. "Lead the way."
Surprised by the kiss, Dusk looked at him. "Eh?" The names were forgotten as she looked at the man in front of her. For some reason instinct overcame her. Quickly, softly, a kiss was placed on Kyoshi's lips. "I want to start over...But not like how we did..." No. Start over like they did with all of their other fights.
"No...not that." Rave looked at Gambler as she leaned against him. "What secret did you want to tell me, Miss Gambler?" It was nice to have her this close to him...but he didn't want her to get hurt because of him... Eyes wide, Rave thought for a moment, Where did that thought come from...

Serand rested the blade on his shoulder as he stood waiting. " Fine if it matters that much to you. im not that old you are correct. but he is." Serand held out his hand and with his palm exposed the Lisan's symbol formed on it. It was the symbol of Lisan Si'loren. A demonwho was only sent out when souls needed to be collected in mass quantity. Serand tilted his head with a crazed look " He is my creator and master."
Asly let out a scream as hear face was stomped on. She quickly drove her right into his calf twisting as she tryed to make the wound bigger. "I feel no need to explain myself to the dead."
Lisan flew over the house and landed just past the back door. turning he approched the door a wicked grin on his face. He stepping into the doorway the door having been left open by whomever took off first. "Little pig little pig let me in...."

The Twins nodded and went out through that back door. The whole shed was in total flames. They surrounded Eldin and guarded him like a precious jewel and lead him well the hell away from the house. "We take you to Gambler's home. I hope you are not afraid of heights." They said, cautious of where they were going and alert incase someone might be watching or following.
Kyoshi blinked at Dusk. She wanted to what? How could they go back to that? He now lived in Area 40 and was only there on the request of Gambler. Afterwards he was supposed to leave but Dusk just seemed to have this tie over him that he just couldn't leave. "Isn't that why we are starting over? To get back to that point?" He asked.
Gambler looked up. "I was going to say...." She looked left and right and then at him. "I was going to say that you smelled good too. Do all elfs smell earthy and spicy and something else or is that just you?" She needed to ask because it was becoming a bit addicting. She liked certain smells from flowers and what not but his was just addicting. It was like the kind of air she wouldn't mind breathing in everyday for the rest of her life if possiable. 'It's one sided. He is forever the warrior of his people and you are the black hearted seraph with enemies that would get him and everyone killed if you get attached.' That was a sad thought but it was true to an extent.
Joker looked at her without any pain but with laughter. He laughed like a mad man that he was. "Yes! Break me! Kill me! Please! I beg of you to take some pity for this dead man but grant me my last request before I join those ranks. Why? Why come here when we know nothing of you and vice versa?" He was still laughing and looking at his leg. It was gross and bleeding. Brilliant.
Monty looked a nodded. "Then you will die where you stand for having a master such as him." He say. His red eyes glowed and the flames became bigger and hotter and the temperature boiling. He loved this temperature. He lived for it.
Raid came around and watched in disbelief. He ran over and watched the shed in flames. Something was up and it was bad. He walked blindly to the back door where the a person with wings stood. "Demon!" He wipped out a gun and pointed it at his head. "Sorry. No one invited me to the party. Who the hell are you?" He spat out with anger.

Lisan turned his eyes glowing bright. "Oh, and what do we have here." Lisan sniffed the air as he turned to face the Half blood behind him. Lisan drew his blade and took a readied stance. " a half blood?.... and what do you plan to do with that?"
Serand's face quickly went to an expression of seriousness as he charged forward. holding the blade with two hands he pulled a downward slice aimed at monty's head. " You haven't seen anything yet!"
" This place has been selected for collection. As a notable threat to the plan ahead. those who protect this town shall be dealt with." With one claw still in his calf Asly used the other to slice the tendons in his ankle. With the weight shifting off of her she threw him off and stood on her feet.

Looking at the two, he gave both twins a deadpan stare. "Does it honestly matter if I'm afraid of heights at the moment? Just get going. I would rather not blow up." Yeah, Eldin wasn't this nice lovable person in situations like this. Nope. Actually he was much more like Kalore. A total b***h.
Speaking of Kalore... "Ziggy! Talon!" Quickly getting to them, he spoke. "Do you know where Gambler and the others are?" They blinked and Ziggy looked between both men. "I just got here, so no." "I know that Dusk and Kyoshi are in there. This is one of Gambler's favorite clubs, so she may be in there as well." Kalore nodded and entered the club. These people are hard to track down...
Dusk shook her head. "No. What we did...what we did is something that I don't know if it'll work or not.." She hugged him close, speaking low but knowing that he would be able to hear her. "What we did was acting as if it never happened. I don't know if that was the intention, but that's what we're doing. I messed up Kyoshi. I messed up so bad, and it effected you in a way that I never wanted it to." Dusk sighed and looked at him. "But I don't think that forgetting about it is ever going to help up get back together..." There, it was said.
Dusk still wanted to be with Kyoshi.
Looking at Gambler, Rave was slightly shocked. "Oh? Hm..." Thinking for a moment, Rave shrugged. "It may be all of us...but I don't know. I don't really have enough interest in the others to check..." Thinking for a moment, he remembered Gambler saying that he had a nice scent, and it actually made him...happy? Was that the word that he wanted to use? No. Ecstatic. No...that still didn't express how glad he was just to have this woman near him. He had stopped trying to figure out why things were like this, why he was feeling all of this. Rave just knew that he felt something.

Both Twins rolled their eyes at Eldin. They grabbed his arms and then lifted off the ground. They ended up on a balcony of a high building, then speed swept them away through the air quickly, everything a blur. Then they came to a stop on top of the tallest building that had the view of everything within sight. This was Gambler's place and she knew just how to live. The Twins let Eldin go and there wings were tucked into their backs.
Raid sneered at the demon. "I'm going to blow your f*cking a** back to hell." He said ready to unload bullets in his head.
Monty sighed in boredom. He moved to the side and took his blade to the stomache of his enemy and then stepped to his right, taking up another sword. "You know, I prefer to play with two blades instead of one. It makes things more fun." He said.
Joker moved his foot and then grabbed the females wrist and twisted. With his other hand he took her hair and smashed her face with his knee. "I will appreciate it if you stop trying to tear me to bits. I have a job and would like to stay alive to continue to work. I like how much I get paid so please, let us settle this diplomatically." Even though the shed and the house were most likely to get blown up.
Kyoshi listened and nodded. He felt the same way. "Then are you saying that you still want to be with me?" He held back this wave of excitement that seemed to come out of no where had to be held back. This angel wanted to be sure.
Gambler looked thoughtful. "Well you smell really good. I hope that doesn't offened you Rave. I know I'm your boss but I'm also honest as hell so....I tend to step over the line sometimes." 'Even though I would break that line if I could have yo-' Nope she wasn't going to go there. She was beginning to like this elf but more than just comrades and that could be dangerous. Not dangerous professionally but emotionally.

Once he was let go, Eldin's world was spinning. And not in the fun way. A few steps to the left, a few steps to the right, a canter back behind, and then the rooftop met his butt. Spirals were in Eldin's eyes as he tried to figure out what way was up and what way was the bathroom so that he could up chuck his stomach.
Rave listened to what Gambler was saying, and he just nodded. "I see..." She was rambling on about something, but he just couldn't really recall what it was. Thinking for a moment though, Rave figured out why he was acting all odd around this chick. No. He didn't really know. All the signs pointed to an attraction, but one that was more than just friendly. As she continued to speak something twitched at the corners of Rave's mouth. Once she stopped, Rave just bowed his head...
And smiled.
Did she? Did Dusk really want to go down that road again? She thought for a moment, almost letting go of Kyoshi. It would be hard, but so was not being with him. Quickly, Kyoshi was kissed, back in the tight hold of Dusk. "Yes."

Serand jumped back holding his stomach. " That would of been dangerous."Serand stood releasing his grip on himself. He stood holding the blade to his side as the hole in his stomach beginning to fill with ash.
Asly spun around cutting her own hair and freeing her hand from his grip. As she came to a stop on her spin she drove another punch this time into his abs." looks like you'll be needing some sick days"
LIsan grinned taking a few steps forward. " think you can hit me?" Lisan took a quick dash to the side and then using his wings lunged forward driving at his chest with the sword.

The Twins lead Eldin into the expansive apartment to the bathroom that was large with a wide marble tub, a huge shower with the waterfall shower head and a bench. Everything was done in white marble and the ceiling painted to look like the heavens. "If you are going to throw up the latrine is over there in that door." Ivan pointed to the door at the very end of the bathroom. "We will be in the living room putting up wards for protection." Hans said leaving with his brother in tow.
Monty wasn't in the least impress by the ash filling in the wound he inflicted. He would have to think quick on how to destory this demon. Though, the author would like to know, how do you kill someone made of ash?
Joker moved quickly and punched her in the head. "I like my pay just fine without sick days, my dear. Besides those days never come when your a doctor." He said. It hurt but he would manage. He hoped.
Raid glared. "I don't think demon, I know." He began to shoot off the rounds.
Gambler didn't see the smile but saw the ground. She was ranting on about stupid nonesense and he must be bored hearing it and planning an excuse to leave. Ah, well, it was a great dance that will never happen again. 'Stupid mouth.' She thought with a mental slap.
Kyoshi cupped Dusk's face and gave her a mind blowing kiss. This man couldn't help himself. He had been dying to do that since he got back to Area 6. Heaven help him, he was crazy about her even after everything that happened. Waking up in his broken apartment in Area 40 made him see clearly.
