Rille joged up to the doors of the dining hall, and walked inside, slightly out of breath. She looked towards the back corner, where she had left Ananda and Kenzi. "Oh no...they're gone." She buried her face in her hands, groaning. And now they could be anywhere, and Ananda wouldn't have listened to me. She's going to do something stupid, I know it. And she'll end up in the hospital, and I won't be there. Or, more likely, she'll collapse somewhere, and I don't know if that Kenzi fellow'd even help her. He looked like he'd enjoy a trip to the hospital about as much as she will. She leaned against the wall, hoping to notice something that might tell her where Ananda had gone, not seeing anything. Wait. There're other people in here. Maybe one of them...no, I can't. I just can't. Not even for Ananda. But...it might be my only choice. She looked around the room, trying to see if any of the people there were ones she recognised from earlier.

"Two lions," Rille replied absently. "And a fire-breathing dragon." She shook her head. "Ignore me, I'm a little distracted. Hello, Shino." She smiled slightly, still scanning the room. She didn't see anyone she recognized, and sighed softly. "I'm trying to find my cousin," she explained to Shino. "I'm afraid she's going to get into an awful lot of trouble if I don't go find her soon." She sighed again, more heavily. "I left her here, with a guy friend of hers, but now they're both gone and I have no idea where they went."

Shino rolled her eyes and sighed."Boys.....Ill never understand them."She gave her a worried look and peeked around the dinning hall."Hummm your cousin?You mean that girl Ananda?Ive heard of her Nioki and Mioki told me about their meeting with you and her and the infirmary."She thought to herself looking rather confused her eyes darting all across the room."Im not sure where she could be?Im sure youll find her though.They are most likely out somewhere,especially if they are going out that would explain it all."She stomped her foot trying to think of something.Finally she just busted and gave a small sweat."I dont know I give up,my head hurts.Im sure you'l find her!if you need any help Ill be glad to."

Rin took the card and headed off for the ordering machine.

A few minutes later she returned with a plate of shrimp, french fries, and a coke. Setting the tray onto the cable she handed the card back with a thanks - something Kayato was sure she didn't say often - and sat down. Kayato took his card back and slid out of the booth. "I'll be right back." he said, and walked over to the machine. Sliding his card into the machine, he thought about what he wanted to order. Hmm... a large bowl of stew will suffice for now.

"Large bowl of beef stew." he told the machine, and a moment later a steaming bowl on a tray appeared before him. Kayato retrieved his card and stowed it in his pocket before picking up the tray and taking it back to the booth.

"Sorry for earlier." he apologized as he slid back into the booth. "I get a bit emotional when it comes to my family, and it's just that you... you remind me so much of my sister." he picked up his spoon and stuck a large spoonful of stew into his mouth, effectively charring his tongue. Trying not to spit the boiling hot stew back into the bowl - it wouldn't be very polite to do in front of Rin - he swallowed it. He felt the stew burning his throat on the way down, but he ignored it.

Kayato and Rin ate quietly for a few minutes, until Rin finally broke the silence.

"How exactly do I remind you of her?" she asked, looking intently at him. Kayato swallowed the chunk of half-chewed beef that was in his mouth and told her.

"Well, my sister... she had the same eyes as you do." he admitted. "Everyone else in my family had grey-green eyes, but she had these wonderful turquoise eyes. Also... you have the exact same voice." Kayato closed his eyes, remembering. "Seeing you reminded me of her... maybe that's why I can talk to you easier. It's silly, I know." he looked down, and started to eat his stew again. "I shouldn't have blurted all that out." he whispered to himself. "Now she'll think I'm an a**."

Rin looked a little let down after his answer, and managed a small "...oh." before looking down and starting to eat again. Kayato bowed his head and finished his stew. Pushing the empty bowl away he wiped his mouth with a napkin.

"Good luck with finding a spirit to help Razzer." he said to her quietly, and slid out of the booth. "Enjoy the rest of your meal, Miss Rin." And with that, the swordsman left the dining hall, trying with all his might to break into a run and start crying. It was the first time he had spoken about his family since.... that day. And although it was good to get some of it out, it still hurt.

Haruko smiled as she wandered into the dining hall, with her small pet fast asleep in it's cage. The pet had become tame now, after walking with it and examining it. It was a male. She was fine with that. As long as it was a pet. She was going to name it Tama. It meant round. And it fit the small mouse like creature. She the cage had melted and the mouschi was in her arms. She looked around to see if anyone she knew was there. There she was. It was Rin, the pretty purple haired girl from earlier. She would try to break though to her. She carried her Tama and set him down on a chair and sat next to Rin. "Hello, Rin! This is Tama. You might remember helping me catch him at the Front Gates. Tama, meet Rin. You may be asleep, but she's your auntie!" she said with a slight laugh. She was hungry, so she picked up Tama and got a bentou lunch. She sat down and started to eat her bentou and looked at Rin. "How is Rin, today?" she said.

Yuri looked over at her ss he continued on to the Dining hall, and blinked afew times seeing the way she walked. "You seem pretty happy..." he said, waiting a moment before finishing it off with another question, "...for any reason in particular?" He asked that as they were arriving at the Cafateria, and he opened the door for her-waiting for her to go through in front of him so that they would not have to worry about walking any further at all. He waited now for an answer and for her to enter the Dining hall, becoming slightly hungry himself but not wanting to surprise her with the food he would order from the machine...hopefuly it would not be surprising.
