The beast entered a side room of its lair, a storage room. Ripping a man from his cage, the beast dug its filthy claws into the mans mouth and pried it open. The beast leaned over, and with one massive upheaval, exhaled a putrid stench into the mans lungs.
It promptly threw the captive back into his cage. The glory of the cages was that they had no lock. The captives were too terrified to come anywhere near that beast in the hopes of escape, even knowing it would not give chase.

Luna smirked. "We'll see about that." she said. Luna began stretching out her arms and legs. After she heard cracks coming from her body, she was disappointed; she hadn't been keeping up with her exercises.
She shook her head when she was done and crouched down. Fur sprouted from her flesh and her clothes disappeared within the silver hair. She turned her head towards Ialo and made a sound that was most like a grunt, indicating that she was ready.
Her front paws clawed at the ground in front of her; ready to go. Her tail wagged with such enthusiasm and confidence as she panted excitingly. Suddenly, she heard Ialo speak. She changed back to her human form, still crouching. "Really?" she asked, a wave of disappointment washing over her face. She sniffed the air.

Acaria walked inside the school, frustrated. She'd be roaming this halls for quite sometime and she hadn't seen anyone that she could talk to. It seemed as if the mood was desolate and dark. For what reason? She didn't know, or even care to. "They were probably evacuated," she assumed as she continued to walk. "Most likely sent to some new concentration camp for freaks," she added coldly. "That would make sense." she finished as she walked through a random pair of double doors; she looked around and all she saw were books. More and more books. "Now let's see if the freaks have good taste in literature." she muttered as she walked through the aisles. Then, she came across an aisle that seemed to be in a state of destruction; complete with ripped pages across the floor and a guy reading some of the random black-edged pages scattered before him. "Let me guess: This was your doing. Am I correct?" she asked, her tone a mix of curiosity and annoyance. She placed her hands on her hips and stared at him, waiting.

Ialo's gaze slid out of focus as he concentrated on the presence. He snapped back to reality. "Yeah, but nobody who'd get in our way. Maybe they'd actually help us." He looked down at Luna, who was crouching. "I can get you a rain check for the race."

Luna pushed herself up from the floor and frowned. "Alright, Ialo." she said softly. She walked towards him and stopped next to him. She rested her head on his shoulders. "Who is it? The smell of the forest is overpowering everything else." she whispered.

Ialo gently placed his hand on Luna's head, and concentrated on the noise he had heard earlier. He pointed towards the presence, which turned out to be not far off the path to the mountains. "Maybe you can't sniff him out, but I can hear him. Or her," he amended. "So you might be able to hear him or her as well."

Dalia closed her eyes and found Dante's precise location. She teleported herself to the clock tower, just in front of Dante.
Dante jumped backwards onto a giant cog. " I have been waiting to finally meet you in person!" He yelled.
Devin's nose picked up two scents. One was of blood, the other was of steel. Symbolic eh?Devin tugged at Setsuka.Dalia noticed the two other individuals in the clock tower. She smiled. "More practice. This is gonna be great!" She reached for a small metal ring that hung off the side of her belt. She detached it and threw it into the air. The ring grew large until it could fit an entire human in it, and its edges were sharp. She grabbed it as it fell and jumped backwards onto a gear fifty feet below, where Setsuka and Devin stood. "I can't wait to see you in pieces!"

Luna's eyes followed Ialo's finger as he pointed. She closed her eyes as she tried to listen. She heard the wind tickling the grass around them and miles off. The trees rubbing each other as the wind picked up. Even the animals who seemed to be enjoying the wind itself. As she made her earshot go further, she didn't hear any animals anymore; if she did, they were running in the opposite direction. Luna began hearing thuds; footsteps. "I hear it.." she whispered, opening her eyes. "Should we run?" she asked, softly wrapping the arm between them around his. "Or fly?" she corrected. She couldn't tell if the person was noble or not; but on a count of the animal's reactions', she had a tiny feeling to what it was.
