Yeah. Arietta's backstory is kind of complicated. She has a whole manga devoted to her.
Actually, Largo is pretty important to the plot. You won't find out his purpose later. At least until you meet Natalia. You're probably not going to like her, either. We were... a lot different at the beginning of this journey.

It's complicated. from the information put out by Capcom, it looks like we're getting another prequel. This time before Dante gets Rebellion. It goes 3 > 1 > 4 > and 2, but that's not canonical. ...I had to read that 3 times. Your muses confuse me, I'm a failure at life, and it's late. Jade tried to kill her? I don't remember that... And why do you keep saying chapters? Why would you think I wouldn't like her? How come? Wait what does Tales have mangas for? I heard somewhere there are 3 Symphonia mangas? How many Abyss are there? And are the mangas different from the animes? By the way I just have to mention, Tales of gives SOOOOO MUCH BONUS MATERIAL!!!!! They don't just have video games, they make animes, mangas, drama CDs, bonus DVD featurettes (Viva Tales of, etc). It's amazing. Speaking of which, anyone know if Atsumare Tales Park and/or Viva Tales of Golden Gumi have been subbed yet?

@Franky: ....sorry. I need someone else to talk to in detail about these things. And there is so much I need to know about the Tales series. I thought I was pretty good but I realize I'm still such a noob. I only have like maybe 130 hours in each of my ToS games. I don't know exactly I'm just guessing. I'll have to get back to you on that.
But now she mentions mangas and I realize I'm also missing out on a lot of the bonus material. So I NEED TO KNOW!

there's so much in Symphonia. That's why I played it a lot.
Well. I don't really know. I haven't counted all of the Abyss manga. I know there's the FMI/Arietta stuff, Jade's special, and the regular Tota manga. That's about all I've seen. Go to Abyssal Chronicles to find out more, I guess.
lol. I call them chapters because they cover synopsis chapters. Those are basically written in Luke's diary.

The anime and Manga differenciate from each other immensely. They're also different from the games to varying degrees, too. Normally they get outside writers to write the mangas and anime as opposed to the actual game screenwriters. The only OVA that uses the original Story writer/artist is the tales of Symphonia OVA. which is why it's so damn short. and IDK what the ******** Fujishima is planning. I think Fujishima also did the ToS regular manga. but I don't remember. If Saucy Fellow were lurking, she'd know.
I don't think so. I'd check jewtube.

Symphonia was a little more lighter than Abyss. Symphonia definitely has it's sad moments, but I think you're right. So far I haven't seen the "tragic" side of Abyss, but I've already noticed the more serious tone. It's definitely intentional. Symphonia is a very optimistic game with a Romantic ideology. I mean, the characters when lined up correctly make a freaking perfect rainbow! But yeah, they're still both really good. What do you mean the anime is short? It's ongoing. I have no idea how long or short it will be. So far it looks like it's split into sections of 4. Sylvarant, Tethe'alla, and after the Tethe'alla arc they're making another called..... something World? The title escapes me. And who knows, maybe after that there'll be another one for Derris-Karlan or something. I dunno. OH I FORGOT ABOUT THE JOURNALS! Oh crap, I have some catching up to do. I never read the journal entries in either Symphonia so I wanted to for Abyss. I read the first few. Ugh now I'll be behind. OK I'll get to that soon. So much material for the fans. AND VIVA TALES OF GOLDEN GUMI STILL ISN'T SUBBED! Neither is Atsumare Tales Park or Tracks 6-15 of the Rodeo Ride Tour. crying

Hey, I just got an idea for a new technique for one of my OC's. Though I havent decided who is going to get it. Its kind of a mix between Negative Gate and Rasengan. Basically the elemental affinity and power of Negative Gate but with the size and implementation of Rasengan (the rate of spinning, size and deliverence from the hand). Not really original but an interesting attack nonetheless.

Uriel Ledon Jade tried to kill her? I don't remember that... Arietta was incapacitated by some miasma, so Jade wanted to kill her while she was still a sitting duck. To prevent her from returning to fight them again, I'd assume... She was a wicked hard boss the first time, haven't fought her again yet.

I'm on my fourth play through getting chased out of Baticul. <3 Heading towards the Inista Marsh.
mhm. Abyss is serious, with a LOT of comic relief. Especially in boob humor. Oh, how I love you Anise~ <3
They do make a rainbow. With Abyss, you'd never guess people of the backgrounds that they do have would travel with each other under regular circumstances.
...It's reunifying the Worlds Arc. We just say the third Teth'ella arc episode released last month. So they have one more of that, and four episodes of reunification. Then we're most likely done. I don't think they can make Derris Kharlan into more than one episode. They've already cut so much out of the anime already. They can just butcher the rest of it and the Symphonia fans will suck it up. D <
...Hahaha. You can open up the Synopsis anytime and read them, you know. XD
Hahaha. Normally it's individual Sub groups that do it. I'm sure if you inquired about it to one of them, they might do it for you if they aren't busy with other projects. It's how ze internet works. All you need to do is ask, and maybe someone will help you.
