'A mass murderer who's proud of it, whoopee, that's just what we ******** need! With that attitude, I'm pretty certain you'd do great as a worker in Karestra!' Evangeline spat, glaring furiously at him.

'So that's how you justify every shitty choice you make, is it?' Evangeline challenged.

Shitty choice? The only reason I or any of you are here today is because of the choices that I've made. It's not about justification, it's about doing what the timeline means you to.

'Right, so pulling something randomly into the conversation; you mean to say you had Aizel to that ******** hellhole? You had to bring his torturer back? Bull. s**t.'

Keeping him there was something beyond my control. As for bringing Midian back, yes. I did.

In this dimension, yes, but Karestra was something entirely different. Cross dimension travel isnt always as easy as flipping a switch.

'Oh really?' she scoffed, laughing scornfully. 'Kat and me travelled to another dimension when we were taken to Karestra, you ******** idiot, and it was the hellhole that you sent Aizel to. I ******** hope you're happy for being responsible for what happened to him.'

If I recall, your means of travel was by a creature whose sole purpose in life was dimension travel? The first few successes of mine were actually failures to alternate destinations.

I am not responsible for the things that happened to him. He landed outside of Karestra. Anything after his arrival was his own decision, and once he was within their walls, it was them. Karestra doesn't take volunteers, so someone on their side had broken their own rulings.
I brought your precious plywood back, don't forget it.

'And remind me, how long was he left? One month? Two? You expected him to stay outside in the ******** cold for all that time?! You didn't htink that someone, hmm, just might discover him?
You're an insensitive p***k; calling him s**t like "plywood" and "plank", you and your a*****e girlfriend, oh, sorry, wife. His name's Aizel Izon, not Plank, Plywood, Kasuka, or whatever the ******** you assholes have been calling him. Don't you dare forget that again.'

I tried recalling him not even an hour later. When you stand before a wall that is near twenty feet tall, you would really think to question that wall before just letting yourself in. He apparently did not. Not my fault.

'And how do you know that he even let himself in? How do you know that he wasn't discovered and forced in? Oh no, of course, that's not a possibility you'd dare to entertain; it'd mean you're to blame, and of course, the self righteous MK can't have that, can he? You're not worth my ******** time - you're a c**t, simple as that.'
Without so much as a backwards look at the Captain, Evangeline stormed furiously out of the Main Level, thinking that it would be best to get away before she did something she would regret.
