Nadea coughed up a few specks of blood and rolled over onto her back. "This...old woman taught me. I knew she wasn't human...she knew far too much about me. She said...she said if i would go and retrieve something for her...from the Waste Lands....that she would bring my husband back." Nadea placed a hand on her forehead and inhaled sharply, "I can't believe i was soo stupid...stupid stupid stu-" she coughed violently for several seconds, rolling onto her side.

Samantha rolled over and with a small thud ended up on the floor, the wind knoced out of her. She sat up and rubbed her head confusion mixing with grogginess before she reembered she was in Kashans room. A wave of guilt washed over her. She ook his bed from him and wondered where he slept. She stood desideding to ake him and apology meal. She dusted herself off and straightened out her clothes and left the room silently

Shadow shook his head, "Your not stupid Nadea... you love you family, you love them enough to do anything for them but why didn't you come to me. I could have introduced you to people that could have brought him back.... What did she want you to bring back fromt he wastes?" Shadow said as he knelt down beside Nadea. he had an idea of what to do and what was going on with Nadea. The magic she was using had side effects liek this and the reason for such side effects was only speculated at.
"I am Kashan Kelm. A resident of this place. I am sure You can stay withint hese walls... I'll just need to find the guy to talk to at some point. If you need to dry off I can show you to a bathroom where you can dry off." Kashan said with a slight bow and with increasing effort to control his lanuage.

"Kashan," Luna calls down. "Can you get me a drink please,' she sighs, "you know the special kind." She pauses, "When your done i guess." She looks at ths slit on her wrist finale healing. She licked the blood off of her arm.

Samantha closed the door and walked down the hall thinking of what to make. She thought about it for a moment not able to deside. When she got to the stais she slowly worked her way down the steps carfully not to fall again as she thought of the blurred memories from last night, she remembered something about straightening out a room but that was it, she drew a blank from there on out.

Nadea wiped the tears from her eyes and sighed, "She wanted this stone...i'm sure you've heard of it. The Philosophers Stone...she said it would make her young and beautiful again and also aid her in bringing my husband back. I stole it from the Palace when i took Anthros...no one noticed til i was on the outskirts." she sighed again and rubbed her face, smearing more blood all over it. "What am i going to do? I'm probably the cause of this war...i just wanted my husband back....i just want him back..." she started to sob again.

Shadow let out a sigh, "The connections are there but that will not be reason for the war. Daemons care little for those sorts of trinkets given their immortality and thier desolate land scape. Why would they care about a little tricket such as that." Shadow said as he pulled his sleave up and tried to whipe away some of the blood on Nadea's face. "If you want your husband back so badly then I will help you but first we need to make sure you live long enough to have your family reunited." he said in an attempt to buidl Nadea's spirit up.
Kashan nodded slight at luna's request. he knew what she was after and just hope the new comer wouldn't click on. "Well Chasity, I'll show you in a moment. i must grab a drink for my firend frist. I will be right back." he said a she ran to the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of blood before quickly returning and keeping the bottle covered. "Tat way." he gestured to the stairs and started up them. "Got your stuff right here luna." he called.

Nadea smiled weakly, "Thanks....i still can't help feeling guilty though. I don't think i should bring him back...he wouldn't be the same...he wouldn't recognize me...i've changed too much." she sighed and looked up at Shadow, "So...can you help me? Do you know whats happening to me?" she asked, her green eyes pleading.

Samantha saw Kashan coming up leading someone "Morning Kashan. Are you hungry?" she asked as she stopped for a moment. She wasnt going to let herself fall while taking she was still a good halfway down the stairs and knew it would hurt like hell if she fell again

Shadow let out a sigh, "The energy that flows naturaly threw any being is being slowly taken from you. First your body loses the ability to regenerate and then it refuses to move until all the energy is gone. All magic takes a little away from the being casting it and that is why you feel drained after casting often but that energy is always replaced. With this sort of magic the energy never gets replaced and is only taken, after a while you can't stop it but there is a way... my mother was one of those who coudl bypass the need to feed on blood by connecting with the very winds of magic themselves. With that you could regain enough of what is lost to have your body naturaly over come this." Shadow explained. It may have seemed far fatched but it was what he had been taught. Very little researched had been put into those types of spell and the effects they had. He had an idea on how to bridge a connection between Nadea and Shyesh but it would be tricky at the best of times. "I can help you Nadea. I will help you." he added.
Kashan smiled as he saw Sam comming down the stairs, "Yeh, I am hungry. You going to cook for me again?" he said with a smile as he stopped infront of her for a moment to talk. "I'll join you in the kitchen if you wait a moment. i need to drop this bottle off to Luna and show our new guest to a towle then I can keep you company for a little bit." he said before walking up the stairs and handing Luna the bottle of blood. "Now, Chasity, if you go down this hall and take a left. the first door on your right should be a place you can grab a towle" he said before walking back to Sam. "Shall we?"

Samantha waited for a few moments for him to get back before she smiled lightly "Sounds like a plan" she said as she went back to taking her steps down the stair but at a faster pace, only slightly but still faster. She reached the bottom "Ha, No falling, What now stairs?" she said jokingly. "Another suprise?" she asked turning back to him

Nadea nodded, taking in all the information Shadow was sharing with her. It only made sense that magic takes a little from you each time you use it, she knew that. But what she didn't know was that there was some magic that just took, never returned. "Note to self...never listen to old hags..." she coughed a bit and attempted to sit up. "Can you lean me up against the wall...i want to sit up..." she whispered.

Shadow laughed a little, "Never trust old hags... they are the worst for this sort of stuff." Shadow said as he helped Nadea up to the wall. He didn't like seeign her like this. All it did was remind him of what had happened before, the last time he lost her. "I'll help you create a link to Shyesh. That wind knows you, it will help if you ask it. After all, my blood flows threw you now and should make it easier to create the connection but you must never use that magic again." Shadow said.
Kashan couldn't help but laugh at Sam's little joke as he reached the bottom of the stairs himself. "That sounds good to me. You know I have no idea on what anything is." he said with a smile and offered his arm to Sam. He wasn't doign it as any referance to her poor balance, it was partly down to habbit.
