Wally_West Uh, no. That's not official. Jimmy Palmiotti, writer of Hex said he viewed the script and the 'voodoo practitioner' thing has been completely excised. And thank goodness, too. GUH!?! But I love me some undead stuff! Sorry, my sources must be slow on the uptake ... which is odd cuz they never are...

Yah, the voodoo thing is an old script, dating from like '97 or so. Which explains the Vertigo Hex overtones, I guess.

Looks like no Megan Fox naked, a slim amount of the bawdier dialogue, and this thing with a huge close up of extreme slowmo spit has been taken out.

Aw. I'm a little bummed now. The Landsdale-type angle could've been cool.

I dunno, I like the idea of a Turnbull who is closer to the one in the comics. Old, bitter, mean, constantly creating giant traps to catch Jonah, put him on 'trial' and then kill him in creative ways in revenge for the death of his son during the war...

Yeah, the fact that it was Turnbull doing the voodoo stuff was a little weird..ah well.

xJason Toddx Looks like no Megan Fox naked crying By the way, I got a special screening of The Hangover. By far this year's BEST comedy. Me and my friend were laughing through the whole thing. I recommend it to EVERYONE to see it soon as they can.

Cpl James Howlett xJason Toddx Looks like no Megan Fox naked crying By the way, I got a special screening of The Hangover. By far this year's BEST comedy. Me and my friend were laughing through the whole thing. I recommend it to EVERYONE to see it soon as they can. Figures. First Friday I manage to get off in god-knows-how-long, and no one can go see it with me because they're all working. stare Dunno if everyone's heard yet, but David Carradine is dead at age 72. Hung himself yesterday. I find it hard to sympathize with people who've killed themselves, but I'll wait until a reason is given before I pass judgment. Either way, it's a damn shame. I respected a lot of his work. Maybe not Kung-Fu, which is both before my time and not my kind of thing, but Kill Bill, Death Race 2000 and Dead and Breakfast anyways.

He was one of my favorite actors. He will be missed. And I really hope I'm not the only one that can think of how it really happened.

More info on Star Wars: The Old Republic.Highlights: -"each of the game's classes will have its own personal story arc that lasts throughout its entire lifespan. Beneath this umbrella is an epic class-specific story as well as a few serialized mini-arcs which include a ton of tied-together quests and instanced dungeons. Daniel Erickson, The Old Republic's lead writer, explained that the game's quests are so linked to a player's personal story that no one quest will be embarked upon by two different classes. Or, in other words, two characters from two different classes won't receive any of the same quests. The replay value here is going to be mind-boggling." -"The three classes we saw were Bounty Hunters (long range attackers) who implement blasters, flamethrowers, rockets and jetpacks), Sith (damage and aggro sponges with a number of nefarious force powers at their disposal) and the just-revealed Smuggler (rogueish class that uses a really neat -- and unprecedented -- environmental cover system)." -"Speaking of branching off, the game's cutscenes feature moral decisions and branching dialogue. As you'd expect, these choices drastically alter the course of the mini-arc in which they occur -- but your larger decisions also effect the grand scope of your character's own personal story. To non MMOers, these sound like ludological storytelling conventions that have been around for about a decade. In the context of a persistent online RPG, it sounds like straight up witchcraft."
