Den smiled and held her hand the whole way to the summer pack.
~~5 minutes later~~
all the strays had arrived, many of them in possition already for this task they managed to find another group of strays to help fight if need be, they were only temporary allies of course. Merc was unconscious so he couldn't yell out for help, and so at the gate the guards were taken down quite easily in order for several strays to enter and hide themselves should they be needed. "we are starting now, genesis" one of the strays said tapping her on the shoulder. the stray holding merc stood up high on the top of a hill overlooking part of the pack, it was covered in trees so they were hard to make out among them. they hadn't actually come up with a method on how they would get the alphas attention, so they figured they'd get the guards first. taking out the gate guards were just the first so ones inside killed a couple of guards and knocked out some others before leaving.

Kagu was first to see whats happened, she looked around seeing guards fleeing and running towards the weapons and armory rooms. "what the hell?" she didn't want to leave her father with leogun by himself either though... "nyeh" but she did anyway "what the hell is going on?" she asked one of the guards "the strays have come back already." he said in a rush he pushed past her.
"I may have something for you, at the moment it will only be a minor task" he didn't trust this wolf witht he retrievel of his friend merc just yet and so he didn't mention it at all to him. "there are-" he was interupted.
Kagu had come running into her fathers room "father, they came back"
"already?" he said getting slightly on edge "and I suppose they brought him to taunt me with?" he sighed sadly standing up revealing several bandages "better go see what the assholes want this time" he added. "sorry about this, Leogun was it?" the guards had told him "I will have to get back to you" he left the room eagerly with kagu following behind obviously worried about him "dad dont, just let the guards get him back this time." she said, he and Kagu walking past Tea like she wasn't there. "Tea, I cant ask you to help this time you seem to have done enough for me already"

Leogun walked out next to the alpha and stood next to him"youre going to need my help...give me an order sir, let me send them away"he said drawing his sword and looking at the ravenous numbers of strays

Den smiled at Genesis enthusiam "ready?" he grinned pointing down to the pack he showed her that Orion had already come out of his room. "all we gotta do is get that guy." he said to her. "lets go" Him and several strays ran off towards the gates one of the strays having already made a sufficient hole underneath it to get through "everyone go in now" the stray yelled at them all as they took turns going through the hole into the summer pack.

Orion looked around seeing Leogun walk up behind him, he smiled half heartedly and nodded. "I suppose I will have to trust you with this task. it is a much larger task than I was going to give you mind, you can handle it right? my guards are mostly new having lost most of my experienced members in our previous fight with the winter pack" he explained, though he fell short on details. "you could help them perhaps? Kagu, go with him." as expected orion didn't fully trust leogun just yet.
Kagu groaned "and you are?"
"going to see what they want." he groaned looking up to where he suspected they were holding merc. Kagu grabbed him "dad, just sit. stay. we'll go get merc from them" she said stepping in front of him. he smiled at her "dont worry about me, idiot. just go stop the strays killing everyone, protect the civilians with them." he said stepping past her.
Kagu frowned "if you just give yourself up your not fit to be alpha, Dad." she yelled at him as he walked away. Orion stopped "who said I was just going to give up?.... without a fight anyway..." he kept on walking in the direction of where he smelt Mercs blood was coming from, A couple guards stepped beside him clearly they were inexperienced but followed next to him anyway.
"he's an idiot." Kagu said to herself. "clearly he's gonna lose, there's probably loads of them waiting with merc." she said wanting to follow him. "all he cares about is no one else getting hurt? doesn't he realise that without an alpha we will all lose anyway?" she was talking to herself and upon realising it she stopped and turned towards the area she knew she had to go to fight the strays.

the stray holding Merc with several others around him watched as the alpha made his way towards them. "he's coming." the stray said.

Once entered, Den made his way with the other strays expecting Genesis to have followed towards the area where there were civilians. "we know that pretty much all of the guards will be in this area to protect the females and children. so thats where the fight will be and once we take the alpha as ours "he pointed to merc on the hill "then they will have no choice but to give up." Den said.

~~Envys house~~
Envy looked around to the pup "meh, not yet. she looked at the time "its not dinner time no one will trade with me if they aren't hungry" she said brushing her fur back.

Kagu nodded and ran off into the area she knew the strays would be, once there she saw some familar faces. "you again?" she growled staring at Genesis and Den right in front of her "get the hell out of these lands!". staring back at the Alphas daughter he saw her growl at him. "dont growl at me" he snarled "my arm is injured by my teeth are sharper than that snide mouth of yours.". Kagu saw the rest of the guards fighting the strays around them, it just made her angry "I said get out" she lunged for him immediately taking grip of his neck she compelety ignored Genesis was there as well. Den growled and immeidately using his strength tore her from his neck and pushed her into the ground "what did I just say?" he said taking his first attempt to bite into her, she dodged it having released herself from his loose attempt at pinning her with one paw "b*****d"

Orion was standing on the hill now facing directly with about 9 of the strays. none of them had to speak for Orion to know what was going on, so looking back at the two guards that had followed him he nodded at them. "once I'm close enough, take Merc to the pack and have him treated quickly." Orion said to them stepping closer. Not arguing with his command they each nodded at him, yet disagreed at the same time. The strays smiled and looked at each other briefly in a proud, achieved manor. Orion stepped closer, while one of the strays brought Merc increasingly closer at the same pace, like a proper trade. until Orion heard a whistle, suddenly the strays had attacked him holding him down with claw and teeth while at the same time keeping Merc in firm grip and the two guards held down.
Orion looked up "Filth. All of you" he growled, yet he knew this would happen and so had prepared for it. "We have you orion. so called alpha." the stray said who seemingly was the leader. "and you cannot escape, we will take your pack as ours now." he said bluntly "we will kill you quickly though, dont panic" "who's panicking?" Orion smiled. "Your goons cant kill me, they're pathetic and so're you" he growled at them. "big words coming from an already injured dog." she stray snarled at his comments. "and this injured dog is about to kill all of you" Orion said and with a sharp movement the wolves were pushed off his back. Orion, staying low to the ground moved in to one that was still attempting to cling and bit straight through into his throught bringing one down in a single move. "nows there's 8 of you" he said, keeping his fighting position. "yeah, and one of you" the stray growled, "kill him" he commanded, they all lunged forward at the same time but Orion was prepared, pushing himself higher into the air using his hind legs be brought himself down upon one of the strays grabbing him by the neck and with his strength tossed him into another stray sending them both into a nearby tree, turning he found himself closely faced with a blunt object, dodging it swiftly he kicked it out of the wolfs hand headbutting him down onto the ground easily knocking him out. now with a blood stained forhead Orion turned his position hearing a 4th attacker behind him he was struck in the side, then again, falling back he managed for evade the 3rd strike and attack back instantly with a bite to the neck he ripped down into the strays skin immediately causing loss of consciousness. "4 left now" Orion said to the stray.

Kagu watched onwards as she saw Leogun punch Den in the face "I didn't need your help" she growled lowly at him "I dont ever need your help, stray" she clearly didn't like Leogun, but just as she spoke. several strays had surrounded them both "dont let that a*****e get away." one growled at leogun while another had quietly stepped in and carried Den away from the circle they'd made around them. Kagu had turned around just in time to avoid being attacked by a stray, leaping back she landed next to leogun unintentionally.

looking behind him where the voice came from he saw nothing, "three huh?" Orion grinned and was somewhat grateful, pain from his wounds had kicked in again so help was useful but was also a little disappointed at the same time "cant follow orders already huh stray?" he was talking to himself looking directly ahead at the Leader stray in front of him "looks like you are going to lose this fight after all" Orion stared at him smiling.
"oh? you dont think too highly of me huh? well I spose thats expected of the Alpha, everyone is always beneath you." the stray carried the conversation. "but you are still going to lose, just because you are strong doesn't mean you can win against numbers." just as he spoke, 7 more appeared from the trees behind holding different weapons.
orions smile turned into a deep frown. "you two, get merc and leave now" Orion told the two guards directly in a stern voice.
"heh. get him." the stray leader smirked folding his arms he watched as several more strays came down on Orion. "thats 10 Orion, can you beat them all?" the leader laughed.
looking up Orion managed to dodge the strays first attack and as a counter measure, Orion used his hind legs to once again propel himself up higher to attempt a similar manouver as before, it failed. one of the strays leapt down from a higher height knocking orion into the ground from the air and just as he landed a third stray took him by the neck with his jaws and started shaking his head violently. taking the pain in stride orion managed to get his jaws around just enough to clamp them down on the strays shoulder forcing him to let go he immediately kicked him away into a tree. bleeding from his shoulder now orion dodged a blunt blow from a hammer one of them had brought, as the stray missed orion took the oportunity grabbing him by thr shoulders and used him as sheild from the next attack, a sword strike from behind had hit the strays comrade instead. "8 left" he groaned. the stray started violently waving the sword around towards orion threatningly orion just about managed to evade it each swing he took and taking an open spot he kicked the stray down onto his back grabbing the sword from him. "s**t, no good with a sword" he groaned "maybe use it as a sheild?" was his second idea just as one of them hurled themselves towards him in an attempt to pin him. "no good." Orion grinned pushing the sword up in a defensive manor he cut the strays paws with it pushing it up closer to his head he managed to slice the strays neck enough for him to lose consciousness before throwing the sword down. "4 down, 6 left" he had started panting heavily now...
"had enough have you orion? just give up"
"I wont lose, not to a bunch of weak savages." orion growled with confidence.

"hehheh. I just told you not yet, kid" Envy looked at the pup backing away from her. "dont panic, I will let them do the killing bit, Dun wanna get blood on me." she groaned looking down imaginging blood on her fur. "ew., hey, pup. why were you outside your pack anyway?" she asked out of curiosity

Kagu, now knocked just out of the ring was pinned down while she'd been knocked on the ground. "get off me you a*****e" she growled at him, he turned her over to her front pinned and told her to watch Leogun "while we kill this idiot" the stray laughed "like I care" Kagu groaned but just lay there unable to do anything about moving anyway.
