Rave nodded. Oh how he wanted to smile, but the man just couldn't do it... he didn't know why it was so hard to do something so simple, but so full of meaning. "I see...well then, is there anything else that I can do to keep you happy?" Dancing with her was actually making him happy...and that was something that he didn't think that he would truly feel ever again.


A few moments passed, and then Dusk had her drink on the bar, leaning over her knees and laughing. "Seriously?!" Another laugh came from her, surprising a few people, but no one was as surprised as she was. Never did the woman think that she would laugh like this this soon.

Monty just looked at him with arrogance. "Really? Well, I guess I should make the best of it no?" He stood up with a bored sigh and placed the old book down. He took up his wicked sword from along time ago, the power it had flowing through his veins and caressed his skin like an old lover. "I hope you know your pissing off the wrong people." Monty said. "What's the price for the former prince Montyzar head? I have to see if your worth the fight." He said looking at the two.

The Twins looked at the front and stood one edge. Joker even felt on edge. "I think we have uninvited guests. I hate uninvited guests." He said lowly and very dangerously. He began to twitch. This was the Joker no one wanted to see. The Twins looked to Kalore and Eldin. "Brace yourselfs. Someone has to alert the others." Hans said. "An unprovoked attack. Cowards." Ivan hissed with his strong russian accent that sounded so soft now sounded angry.

Gambler looked thoughtful. "Yeah. Just be yourself around me and you'll make me the happiest woman in all the areas." She said. Rave was a great guy and the fact that he had to endure such horrors was just shocking. No, she wouldn't think about that. Yes, she wanted to rip the spine out of that good for nothing but the past is past and that is his. Should he want an ear she would lend both of hers for him. They were comrades now, or at least she thought so. 'Yeah but you would like to be more than just comrades if it wasn't for that stupid NO TOUCHIE SIGN!!!!!' Her mind yelled. She really needed to get checked out by a doctor for her conscience problems.

Kyoshi just looked at her. The corners of his mouth was twitching to laugh but he didn't let it come. Not in a millions years. "Is something funny?" He asked cooly.

Kalore and Eldin nodded, prepared for a fight. "If you need someone to warn the others," The blonde began but Eldin finished, "Either of us have the speed to get out without a problem and track them..." Both were prepared to do whatever it was that needed to be done, and both were two of the worse people to deal with... Unless you ticked off Rave.


Rave nodded and continued to dance. "Well then...I'm glad that you enjoy who I am, Miss Gambler...not many people do..." At least not many people enjoyed him. Everyone enjoyed his looks, but for reasons that he didn't understand. This woman seemed to do everything that he just didn't expect...


"I really don't know..." But Dusk was still laughing. Taking a small drink, she ordered a coke. There was no point in getting drunk tonight. "But...it feels good to laugh..."

Eldin didn't know how to respond to this, but he followed Kalore's lead. The man was ready to bolt or attack, whatever would be needed first. Joker was terrifying like this...that much both knew....


Dusk got her coke and looked at Kyoshi. "You ok?"


"Eh...thank you..." Rave was closer to Gambler than he thought he was, seeing as the words were spoken in her ear. How'd I get this close...? But there was no move to retreat from her. "Thank you..."

Kyoshi looked at Dusk. "You want to go dance?" He asked. Yeah he was a pretty decent dancer and with the right song. And he was tired of them being, weird. Plus some wicked part of him missed being close to Dusk.

Joker tilted his and dodged her attacks. "I'll take that as one sugar and no cream." He said giving her one good punch to get her off balance. He twitched a few times. He was getting mad. "You didn't even properly introduced yourself. That is very unlady like if you ask me." Again his tone was sacastic and very, very evil sounding. Like he was mocking in the eviliest fashion. "If there is no threat outside, please go find the others." Ivan whispered under his breath.

Monty rolled his eyes. "I'm not much for props but if that's going to take my head off my shoulders then so be it then." He said with a nod.

Gambler finally noticed how close he was but did nothing to move. She even noticed her hand up his back holding him near her. How did that happen? "Your welcome" She whispered. Thank God for these sunglasses on hiding her eyes because man she would have given away more than what she cared to show at the moment about this closeness.

The Twins looked worriedly at Joker. He hadn't taken his meds so it would be a good time to get them. Hans went into the drawer and took then, putting it in his pocket to keep handy.

Joker just looked at the female. She wasn't normal. She was a demon. How the hell did they find his place? What the hell was going on? He needed a vacation after this.

Kyoshi left all reserves about dancing with Dusk and held her very close. Some males looked at her but with one deadly look of possession from him, they averted their eyes to their dance partners.

Rave was like an enigma within an enigma. Wild and earthy. Interesting and frustrating. She liked that. It made her smile that he wasn't like a average male. He was just Rave. A one of a kind enigma and right now she was beginning to think that if this walking mystery ever left her group she would end beating him up and crippling him so he could stay. Then again he might end up killing her in the process but it would have been worth it in the end.

It was surprising, really...how Kyoshi was holding her close like this. Yeah, it probably didn't mean anything. Dusk thought about all the things that had happened over the last few days. It's been...she didn't know how to explain it. Other than to say, all of it was her fault. If Dusk wouldn't have left, then she and Kyoshi would probably be together still. But...if you would have stayed, Lucien would have gone after him while he was down... Rave would have been against your group, and there's no way that this group can fight off all of those elves...not those three...

Dusk was listening to the voice, but it just wasn't right. The songs turned to a slow song as the DJ announced that there was some anniversary somewhere in the club. She just sighed as couples got closer and show danced for a while. If this was a few days ago, Kyoshi would probably be holding her like the others were their partners, but this wasn't a few days ago. No, this was after she messed up. "I'm so sorry..." Dusk held onto Kyoshi, the song of love and romance actually making her sad because she knew that she had messed up the chance that she was given. "I am so so sorry..."


As the song played, Rave found himself pulling Gambler closer. A few other men tried to do this first, but one look from the elf's icy blue gaze sent them running. You didn't mess with this guy...not whenever he was after something. After something? Rave thought. What's there to be after? She's my boss, not a prize. But something in his mind reminded him that Rave was a person. And people, even elves, needed love. Needed care, relationships. He brushed it off.

It didn't matter what he needed when others needed more important things.
