Mello disappeared in a flash of purple light transcending to stand on the sealing parallel to the mizukage. He nodded in accordance with Shigoro's words,"Of course we mean no disprespect to the lord mizukage." he agreed still holding the jar in hand. Still he couldn't miss the oppurtunity to finish his sale. "Why are these important, because to obtain a pair of byakugan you must first kill the target right?" He proposed taking a step forward keeping the eyes in view. "Of course no human wants to die so their going to fight and struggle making the whole affair messy." he added quickly though the point was quite obvious. "So no you can't obtain a pair of byakugan for free, they cost exactly one human life." He concluded raising a finger. "But that isn't the point, these eyes are simply proof of our kill, we would've brought the head if it wasn't crushed in sand."

Luo sighed as his head remained slightly tilted downwards as the brim of his nose and his mouth were the only things visible under the hat other than his hair. "I see. Don't make that mistake again. Now what is it about these eyes which set them apart from the rest of the Byakugan eyes if I may ask?" He then sighed a bit as the other man made it to the rooftop to explain everything. "I see. Well, where do I play in to whatever it is you may be getting at, and what exactly is it you are getting at?"

Mello shrugged, his smirk transforming into a small smile. "Perhaps I wanted to demonstrate something so you would tell me about a certain person." He gestured crushing an imaginary bug within his hand. "Luo Ushio, the Mizukage. In the academy at four and a Jounin by sixteen." He stated stating the information like it was simple fact. His head tilted as he asked Luo a straightforward question, that had all the meaning in the world behind it. "Luo have you ever heard of the multiverse theory?" the blonde haired shinobi asked. He looked back towards Shigoro for assistance, hoping the mist guardian would understand what he was about to do.

Luo sighed a bit. "My shinobi career isn't exactly secret information Mello. Any kid on the side of the streets of Kirigakure could recite to you my progression through the ranks, it's stuff they learn in the academy." Luo paused for a moment as he followed the man's eyes back to his companion. They seemed to be plotting either the same thought, or action, but what it was Luo could not decipher as he was posed a question that seemed irrelevant to the conversation. "You mean the belief in parallel universes that as a whole make up the entirety of everything that exists? Yes, I've heard of this theory."

"Well something like that," He agknowledged the shinobi's knowledge of such a complex theory. Mello put the jar down on the ground, placing a foot lightly under the lid to be clear of his possesion. "To that extent, it would mean every tiny decision made would be an alternate future. The differences could be slight or massive, depending on the people who existed in those worlds." He started to elaborate showing why he had brought this up. "Like how one of your previous Mizukage's become a wanderer, that's a strange occurence only found in this future." He recealed reaching behind his back for something hidden. But Luo had no reason to be alarmed, for it was simply a chocolate bar. He unwrapped the bar halfway and bit the entire corner off. "There are a million Luo's as there are a million Mellos, every possibility has yet to be fulfilled.. unless." He began to tease tipping the corner of his chocolate bar. "Unless one person had some insider information."

As Luo stared at the man as he spoke, he wondered why the man even wanted the eyes of one of the Akatsuki members. Was it all to prove a point? "Mello, what is it exactly that you want from me? I know the theory well enough to know the endless possibilities behind it. I know it well enough to know that in another dimension, I would be the one holding the container, and you would be the one in these robes. But what is it about these different possibilities that I should be interested in?"

"Because of infinite possibilities, there are infinite outcomes, and it is in theory possible to influence these possibilities to create the best of all possible futures. One of the Elders in our village has the ability to see the possibilities, and can see what actions to take to influence them. Both the eyes and my telling you this are a part of the 'best' future."

Since LT was not needed in the mist ranks any more LT packed his belongings and cleaned the office once more. LT finished his activities with ease and sat in his chair for once last time this time facing the windows to view the village that was his home. He never wanted to leave, that was not his intentions of becoming the grass kage. His real reason to be the Kusakage was to help make the mist stronger, but now his services were no long needed, he had to go. His eyes started to burn and that scared LT, he knew what this was, but it never happened to him before. He quickly wiped the tears away so Matsuya couldnt see. Thats when the office filled with ANBU instantly each ANBU soldier came and shook his hand and patted him on his back and they told him to come back and visit. Some gave him hugs and talked about old times and missions they had with great laughs, each one making sure they did not reveal any secret information. Just how LT taught them, you can have fun, but make sure work comes first and be mindful of your surroundings. He taught them well and they were the best of the best, the Mist ANBU. After many farewells LT got up and drew his sword, he bowed and saluted the Mist and disappeared in a swirl of mist.

Luo sighed as he could see that he was not really going to get a straight forward answer, just an answer which leads to another question. "And what is this better future exactly if I may ask?"

Shigoro sighed and looked up at the clouds. He absent-mindedly extended his hand and formed a Tease on his palm, letting it flap its wings. "As I said, the best of all possible futures. The Elder in question refuses to reveal what will happen, since he says that knowing the outcome would automatically preclude the future itself. Something about transdimensional variables."

Looking at the butterfly-like animal on the man's hand, Luo couldn't help but roll his eyes under his hat. He felt all of a sudden as if he were back in his science classroom staring at the teacher who seemed to dance around his questions. "So let me get this straight just so I can make sure I have been following correctly so far. You want me to help you with something you have yet to tell me about, involving a future you will not tell me about, and somehow all of this involves a pair of byakugan eyes in a container. Even in a parallel universe, would you even think this made any sense if you were in my position? You can't expect me to make a decision on something you have yet to even begin to explain to me, other than slogans such as a better future, or the best of all possible futures. I need more than that to go on."

Shigoro snapped his hand closed, silvery blood from the Tease falling from his gloved fingers. "then let me tell you a little interesting something that the Elder has seen fit to tell us. While he can't tell us the end of our target 'future' he can tell us specific events that he can foresee in other 'futures.' When we go out for missions such as this he usually rambles, but he said something rather interesting this time."

Shigoro looked the Mizukage in the eye, his cold golden orbs staring into Luo's eyes, the ring on his left hand glinting in the sunlight. His voice was, as it always was if he wasn't acting, completely emotionless. "He cannot see you. He can see anyone in the world in any one of their 'futures,' but as you are now he cannot see you at all. The only possible explanation is something that we've encountered before. The Elder saw all the possible 'pasts' of the person whom he couldn't see, and followed their trails. They made a single decision that collapsed their 'futures' into two paths. You are at a nexus point, Lord Mizukage. You are going down one 'future' that will end in... something, the Elder does not know what, and nor do we, though if the last one is anything to go by it will be exceedingly nasty. There is another path, off of which all the 'futures' end with you taking these eyes. I cannot tell you what you should do, but this is an interesting tidbit, is it not?"

As the man seemed to appear in front of Luo, staring up under his hat into his eyes, Luo slowly lifted his head, his calm and reserved nature returning, a placid look on his face as he stared back at the man, his left three tomoe eye glinting and seeming to size up the man. "If your elder truly cannot see my future, and is deriving a hypothetical future from past lives, what makes you think my path is so permanent in its end? As you said before, I am the only one who's future he can't see. The way I see it, that means I have the capability of changing how it ends. And what do you want me to do with these eyes? Am I to give them to someone, or transplant them?"

((His name hasn't been said yet.))

Shigoro looked up at the sky again. His hand opened and the silvery blood flowed back into the Tease, which immediately sat up, fully healed, before sinking back into Shigoro's hand. "Before I answer please deactivate your Sharingan. I appreciate that you are cautious of us, as any intelligent ruler would be, but it is rather offensive to attempt to learn our secrets while simply speaking."

Another Tease sprang up from the back of Shigoro's hand, this time made of mercury. It compressed itself into a ball, which Shigoro began to pass back and forth in the air between his hands, the slightly oblong orb of silvery liquid metal never quite touching either of his hands. "And as for your other question, you do have the capability of changing how it ends. There are trillions of possible 'futures' branching off from every nanosecond. In some of them you have attacked us already. In others you might not be using your Sharingan. And the only reason that the Elder couldn't see the last one's future was because he had none. One decision he had made collapsed all of his 'futures' into a single path. There was no possible escape for him, and he died very soon after. The Elder cannot see the 'future' of someone who does not have one, thus he cannot see the 'future' of one who is dead or about to be dead."

Luo sighed as he stared at the man. "It is a transplant eye, and I cannot turn it off. You'll just have to trust that I'm not trying to learn anything in this process."

After a few moments of thinking, Luo looked back up at the man. "That makes no sense. If he could not see the futures of people dying, or on the verge of death, then I would not be the only one who's future he could not see because there are millions of people in those two categories as we speak. As well as this, I'm sure that there were more than hundreds upon thousands before me, or even now, who backed themselves into a corner, or rather a single path to death. Either I am not the only one who's future your elder cannot see, or there is something he isn't explaining to you about this whole process." He then glanced at the container with the eyes and back at the man in front of him. "I hate repeating myself, but what am I supposed to do with those eyes? And what is your name?" Luo found himself being less annoyed and a bit intrigued. He hoped the men wouldn't disappoint his intrigue in their conversation.
