((Ah... Lucienne, sorry! If you really think so. I don't mind if you don't post often though, it doesn't bother me at all. I wish you would stay.))
Kai turned his head and saw the two, drunk and fumbling over each other. Well this is an inconvenience. We're supposed to travel today.
He resisted the urge to take another drink. It sounded nice, but he had stuff to do.
He stood up, brushing the dirt off his cloak. Lucas approached him and nodded his head in the direction of Pix and Andrea, mumbling "Don't worry, we'll get there in time," as if he could read Kai's mind.
Lucas pulled out a long whistle and blew hard. A very distinct, high-pitched noise came out the other end.
Kai popped his fingers. Nothing happened.
"Wait for it," Lucas said with a grin. "It's quite a beautiful solution, if you know what I mean... Oh, that's right, you don't." He had a hearty laugh.
A few moments more passed and a horse appeared at the top of a hill overlooking Yent.
What a majestic creature, more beautiful than the butterfly they had seen before. Kai was taken aback at its beauty.
The black hair of the creature shone, reflecting the rising sun. It galloped to Lucas and he patted its nose.
"Now for the hard part." Lucas walked over to the drunken Pix and Andrea and grabbed them, throwing one over each shoulder. Plopping them down on the horse, he tied their legs snugly so they wouldn't fall off its back.
"Now you get it, right?" Lucas laughed again. Kai was amused, it was funny watching them slump over on the horse's back.
Lucas beamed a smile at Kai. "Let's get going, shall we?" Kai nodded absentmindedly, the alcohol had made his mind slightly cloudy. Kai put his shoes back on and walked alongside the horse with Lucas, and the group followed.
-Five Hours Later-
It was now midday, and Lucas spoke as they walked. "We're almost to Illys now," he said to no one in particular. Kai looked to the right at the horse walking alongside him. The two on its back might be asleep right now, but he couldn't be sure.
Lucas continued. "When we get there I'll take you to lunch at the castle. My boss has cooks that make us food every day, I'll tell them to make some for you guys. I'm sure everyone's starving, you guys didn't really eat anything today. Except booze." He had a big laugh.
Kai smiled. Food sounded good. He looked around, and all that surrounded the group was a big grassy plain. As they came over a great hill, the tip of the castle's greatest tower could be seen, and soon the whole city came into view. Lucas was right, they were only a few minutes away.

 There are no such things as coincidence.Evacy smothered a laugh at the sight of Andrea and Pix tied to a horse. "It's so beautiful." She breathed. Learning things from her mother was so much fun, but there was nothing like experience. Walking settled Evacy's mood. Seeing the castle made her energetic, like a five year old. She grinned at the prospect of food. Evacy had thrown her last apple core away hours back, and her stomach complained softly. There is only hitsuzen

Kiro had ignored the drunken fool trying not to fall into temptation of joining them, but he knew one sip would be the start of something he would like to aviod, a bad habit if you will. He sinshed munching on his fish and put out the fire being sure no smoke was there. he bottled the fish intestants tightly so no smeel could get out, they would make great bait for more hunting. he follwed the group gald that he had eaten, he could eat every five minutes it seemed. As the day went on his feet grew sore. The sound of eating in a castle sounded great, he could imagine himself stuffing his face. he ran up ahead of the group looking at the castle with a bit of awe "wow, it's big" he siad as he waited for the group to catch back up.

Andrea ended up falling asleep on the horse, after much complaining about being carried and tied up. Even after all the walking she still didn't wake up.

Pix's groin reaaaallllllyyyy hurt.
Oh God, is it another fat chick? God please, I'll never drink again just please don't let it be a fat chick.
Once he opened his eyes and noticed it was a horse, he almost went out cold again, untill he noticed that he was just tied on.
"Wha's goin on?" His speech was slurred and he was really thirsty.

Andrea woke up a little at the sound of drunken talking behind her. She reached back and waved her hand at Pix, missing when she tried to hit him upside the head. "You're too loud.." she muttered, her speech also slurred. "Just..go back to sleep..you're much more tolerable that way." she said as her hand plopped against the horse.

There are no such things as coincidence.((Hm... I'm wonder if I should be offended or not. But no, I'm female. blaugh You can sort of tell. Males ball their hands into a fist when they're not holding anything, and females have their hands down, fingertips away from the body. Also the size of the arms. Soon enough, the group approached the walled city of Illys. Traffic came in and out. Horses, carts, and people traveling on foot could be seen everywhere. Looming in the center was the great castle; it could be seen peeking over all the other buildings.
Passing through the entrance arch, shouts of merchants were heard, selling various food and cloth. Music was also heard as people put coins in a hat for the many musicians.
It was a deafening cacophony of sound, and it gave Kai a headache. This was the most people he'd ever seen at once. It was too much to take in. Kids running on the streets, people drinking in taverns.
Soon they crossed a stone bridge over a manmade pond and came to a set of tall wooden doors.
Lucas approached the soldiers on guard duty. They stepped away from the doors as Lucas pushed them open, with the others following closely. They came into a ornate courtyard. It was empty except for two guards chatting in the corner. Lucas helped Pix and Andrea dismount the horse. The group followed Lucas into the lobby and up several flights of stairs.
Lucas spoke as they walked. "I live in the Lord General's apartment. He has rooms for all his advisors, council, and his right-hand man. Guess which one I am?" he said with a grin.
"The right-hand man?" Kai guessed meekly.
Lucas had a big laugh. "You'd be right, my friend!" He slapped Kai on the back.
"I haven't had guests in a while, this is good! When I have guests they always make better food," Lucas said with a chuckle.
Kai smiled uneasily. Maybe this is why he went to all this trouble to bring us to lunch...
After many flights of stairs the group approached a carved wooden door, shining with gloss. A young guard sat next to it in a velvet chair. He stood and saluted, saying "Good afternoon, Lucas!" with a grin.
Lucas replied, "Hey, Geoffrey. Go along and tell the cooks I brought lots of guests!"
The guard nodded and walked briskly inside.
Lucas showed them to the dining hall. The group sat at a long dining table, with room to spare.
"It'll be a little while before the cooks are done preparing the meal, so we'll just sit here for a while, I suppose," said Lucas.
