"--stupid ugly freaking too cheerful frog--" Aurora continued under his breath, his words somewhat muddled together. He was obviously not at all happy at the mention of that certain green-haired someone's name. "--hope he just dropped dea--What?" The prince had been too concentrated on his own nearly inaudible grumblings to pick up the other's much more distinct words. He glanced back at Nic, his dark eyes wide with expectation. "Wha'd you say?" he asked. He didn't stay turned for long, however, as he quickly looked the way he was going -- however it wasn't soon enough. The prince had had his eyes fixed on Nic for a moment too long and, without the presence of his eyes to guide him, as he raised his foot it hit a rather large, protruding stone and he was sent tumbling forward, his hand grasping Nic's wrist with sudden force in an effort to keep himself from falling. It didn't work, though. "---Aahhhhhhhk!" he eclaimed, eyes wide.

"I sai--!" Nic started, but the next pull on his wrist gave him a start. At first, he simply expected it had been Aurora tugging him insistantly faster toward the castle, but the force behind it was too strong. Before the knight could settle his feet firmly on the ground, just as he was reaching an arm around the blonde prince in an attempt to steady him, he was falling right along beside him. "Oof!"

The next thing he knew, Nic was opening his eyes atop the prince, probably far too close for either of their comfort with his arm still around Aurora's waist. If he was a more disrespectful person, he probably would have exclaimed for the boy to watch where he was going next time, but of course, he was nothing of that type. "Ah! I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" he said instead, pushing himself up onto his elbows. "Are you ok?!"

((For the love of Celestine. O: ))

This, of course, caught the bright, blue-eyed gaze of none other than Aurora's mother. The queen's eyes had moved in an instant to fix upon the pair, though she'd had to turn around to see it. And it was quite a distance away, as well -- far enough away that she could not possibly have heard the thump as they fell, or the pair's dismayed exclamations. She must have had some sort of Aurora's-husband-to-be-making-a-"move" radar or something to have noticed it.

"Mmmf!" he finished, wincing as Nicholas' weight pressed upon him. "You're heavy..." he muttured. Aurora wasn't... exploding like he was likely to do. He was too embarrassed to start yelling -- although how long that might last, no one could tell. His face and ears and neck were flushed an incredibly bright shade of crimson and, for that reason, he was keeping his face pointed down and towards the ground to keep his flushed features from the other. "At least you didn't have armor on, though..." he added after several moments of heavily akward silence. He glanced back at Nic for a moment before hastilly resuming his ground-bound line of sight. "So just... get off of me. Please," he muttured finally, attempting to sit back but finding his way hampered by the other's presence.

((Aurora will explode in approximately five seconds. O: ))

For some reason or another, Nicholas didn't push himself to his feet right away. Even when commented on how his weight was a burden atop the other. With his mouth opened slightly as if trying to form the words on the tip of his tongue, the knight caught sight of that flushed skin. It didn't help that Aurora was acting so shamefully, adorably shy. The push of the prince against his chest acted as a break in his unconscious daze. Murmuring another half a dozen apologies, Nic hastily came to his feet and around to Aurora's front.

Ignoring the slight flush of embarassment on his own cheeks, he offered an outstretched hand to the grounded prince. "That was my fault," he said, taking the blame for the fall.. Even if it was Aurora who had stumbled on the misplaced stone. "Let me help you."

Why wasn't... Nic getting up? Aurora had asked him to move. He hadn't yelled. Nic should be counting his blessings for still being alive after having delayed the removal of his weight for a full five seconds. The prince sucked in a deep breath, preparing to let out a verbal assault about on the same level as an exploding volcanoe. Nic had moved by then, though, so he simply let the air hiss right back out of him. Mother was there... and father.... and Aurora knew there was no way he could get away from the castle unless he was... nice to Nic. If he yelled at him and refused his presence, the prince's parents would probably lock the pair together in a room and force into speaking. Or something.

The prince got slowly to his knees and then, after several moments' pause, he took the other's offered hand (though he really didn't want to and it did nothing to make his furiously flushing cheeks receede into their usual pale hue) and got up. "Thanks," he said, his dark eyes barely even glancing at the other's face before his gaze slid onto his mother, who was watching them intently. He didn't make a comment towards the other's taking of the blame -- after all he knew it was his own fault, but he wasn't about to get into an arguement to dispute the rightness and wrongness of the situation. He couldn't do that -- if he got all heated up and angry, he might get overexcited and... fall asleep. And he did NOT want to fall asleep amidst the company of his mother, father and a "suitor." Only bad things could come of that.

A satisfied smirk clearly played on Ryland's lips as he marched through the brush, vaguely listening to the ranting boy behind him. He only halted his steps when it seemed the other was no longer tailing him completely. In fact, as he looked over his shoulder, he frowned to find a very different looking boy beneath the tree they'd just passed beneath. Only two or three steps ahead, he easily called back the question, ".... Who the hell are you?"

As Pandora came bursting through the bushes, Ryland completely turned around and took a step back. "Magic?" he muttered, trying to grasp the idea. This was no form of magic he'd ever witnessed before. "What'd you do? Throw on a wig and a bodysuit?" he asked Hina, before following up to the shorter boy, "And ... some makeup or something?"

"What exactly do you mean make up?" Panick asked Ryland, still scowling about the bright colors that Pandora chose to wear so much. "You think I'm Pandora don't you. Believe me I'm nothing like that over-excitable, overly curious pain in the neck. My name's Panick if you care to know, really don't see why you would you though." he said slowly, wondering why the man cared.

Why was it that people so often wondered about names and dates and such when all of it was irrelevant in the long run. As far as Panick was concerned people lived to propogate and die, nothing more or less and what had happened in the past and answers to unimportant questions were utterly meaningless.

"What, you saw my frog body and you expected me to be normal?" he asked rather sarcastically, a small scowl on his lips. "Here, look..." he muttered, raising a hand to his mouth to cough into. Despite its being a forced cough, the small motion still turned him back to his usual, small self. "It's just me.... Told you, right? I'm not supposed to be like this because I'm cursed. Mister midgit over there probably just has a split personality and a lot of spare time and eye liner," Hina said, glancing back towards Pandora-now-Panick.

"Fortunately -- or, I don't know because 'Rora says it is unfortunate -- my personality stays the same no matter who I am, although I did change my name for when I am larger. Hina really just does not suit one who actually looks eighteen," he explained with a small, indifferent shrug.

Crack, was the final sound of a snapped twig as Ryland's step backward was followed by another. These... these boys... what was wrong with them? 'Pandora', or so the smaller boy seemed to be called... was now apparently Panick... and seemed to have an attitude.

"P..anic? .." he repeated, puzzled. Half-listening to Hina-turned-Francis, he caught the name 'Rora' But the merman was far too overwhelmed to follow Hina's full explanation. As the boy morphed again, Ryland simply couldn't handle it.

Red locks spilled over the dirt floor of the forest and a distinct thud denoted the prince's unconscious fall. Unfortunately, the Atlantian hadn't encountered too many other cursed individuals in his travels and he'd been too overwhelmed to hear that crucial word Hina had declared.

"What'd you mean eyeliner. This is what I normally look like you...oh, what's the point. You wouldn't believe me if I tried to explain it anyway. No one ever does." Panick said as he looked at Hina, who seemed to have just changed twice in a row before his very eyes.

"Curse huh. I simply love curses. They come in so many different varieties and they make the people who are hit with them so very miserable and panicky all the time. They're always afraid of when their curse is going to do them in. It's so much fun to watch cursed people run around and try to find a cure or a way to break their curse." he said as he examined his fingernails, almost as if he were bored about saying it. The tone of endearment in his voice would prove otherwise though. Truth be told curses were his favorite thing in the world outside of the proverbial curse he'd been landed with of sharing a body with Pandora until he found his own. Even then though, since Pandora had set him free..."I'll still be bound to this happy go lucky pain in the..." his already faint voice at that comment simply trailed off.

Hina sighed in aggravation, running a pale hand through his soft, lime-colored hair. He nudged the fallen prince with one foot. Of course, he wasn't expecting a responce.... the redhead was unconscious, after all.

He glanced at Panick and rolled his eyes. "The black crap around your eyes is called eyeliner. If it's not, then you've either got two incredibly black eyes, or your ancesters were pandas," he said, his delicate hands placed peevishly on his hips. Hina really did not like children -- or people that looked like children, even if they were older than they looked. That included Panick. The whole... shortness just... creeped him out, although he himself was below the average male height for his age. 'At least I'm not a midgit, though...' he thought to himself.

The nudge hardly effected the fallen sea prince, his body coming to rest again after Hina's foot moved away.

'Tell me about this... boy,' a sweet voice beckoned him. A much younger Ryland followed a glimmer of silver to Entler's Crevass. He'd been told to avoid that place; that it was a dwelling for those that wickedly paralleled his own species. As bold cerulean orbs looked down into the darkness, he could've sworn he'd seen the mast of a ship or two. But the voice was so reassuring... promising. If he only just told someone-- a friend. Someone who could understand.

It was as if the story was never his to keep secret; the way he poured it out under Her influence.

When the full Erumina revealed herself and he saw the devilish creature for what she was, it was far too late.

.... Legs.

Hina nudged the fallen prince once more, a scowl of frustration mingling on his features as he tried to cover the small bit of concern that was beginning to creep into his consiousness. "Oi... you. Get up," he said. No reaction. "...Please?" Hina hefted a sigh that seemed much too large for his small body, made an angry-pout, rolled his eyes, and then finally squatted down next to the other. "You'd better thank me for this, Stupid," he muttered under his breath. He reached out a hand and placed it with a surprising gentleness upon the other's temple. The froggy prince closed his own dark blue orbs, lips curving down in a frown of concentration. The ring on his ring finger seemed to pulse slightly, sending a steady, pale emerald light into the fallen man's temple. Hina, though a prolific mage in many areas, was not at all confident in his healing spells, although they were better than those of most who attempted them. And though they were usually sufficient, they simply were not good enough to please him.

After Aurora had come to his feet, Nicholas assumed a slight bowing position. He could have went on with a string of apologies, saying he must still be getting used to the solid ground after the elephant ride. Or better yet, it could have always been his natural clumsiness that had taken them down.. But Nic suspected Aurora wasn't really the type to want to hear excuses. Eventually rising from his respectful bow, the knight's gaze followed that of the prince's, spotting Celestine watching them, immediatly sending a burning crimson into his cheeks. Even from their distance, he picked up a certain something from her gaze. Surely the Queen didn't think they were.. doing anything, did she?

"I-..I'm not positive, but I think your mother finds us to be of interest at the moment," Nic whispered, offering an embarassed wave Celestine's way.

"Of course she does. After all, I'm her precious daughter and you're a... a... I don't know. You are you, I suppose, and that's enough to get her imagination working," he said, his usual biting tone evident. From the way his cheeks were sprinkled with a light pink, and the way his lips were curving down in a persistent, crimson pout, he was evidently highly frustrated about something. Whatever that was, though, it wasn't likely that Nic would know. What was evident, however, was that his ill feelings were really not directed towards the knight, for he wasn't even looking in the other's general direction -- his eyes were fixed firmly and unhappily upon his mother. Aurora really hated feeling stuck -- like there was nothing he could do. He really and truly hated that. And at the moment, he was stuck, for he neither wanted his mother to think that he and Nic really were... an item. Or whatever. But he also didn't want to... overexcite himself and fall asleep. But... if he fell asleep, it wasn't perminent. Not... at all.

Eye wide with sudden realisation, he turned to Nic, his mouth open slightly. "Hey... Nic. Promise me something, will you?" he said. Not waiting for a reply, he continued. "If I... get angry or something and fall alseep, please wake me up before Mother has a chance to... do anything, alright?" he said, his tone light and sweet. He was being... oddly polite. And he was even requesting that Nic kiss him if he were to suddenly lose consciousness. He was obviously quite desperate that his mother not lay her hands upon him.
