Umbra took her hand, and instead of shaking it, he turned it so that it was palm up, and wrote the word "Umbra" on it with his finger. He looked up at her, and made the same "smile" as before.

"Umbra?" She nodded, "lovely, I'll show you to a room. There's a number of them to choose from at the moment." Erica started walking down a hall.

Umbra followed Sufference, using his shadow to lightly float along the hallway behind her. Looking around, he was amazed at the building, and the amount of light that was in it.

Erica looked back, noticing his use of shadow, "we can board windows, in the room you choose, if necessary." She motioned to the doors, "choose one, unless you would rather i choose for you."

Umbra shook his head, smiled, and then pointed to a door on the right. He glanced back at her, checking if it was okay that he use that one.

Erica nodded, "Yes, that one will work just fine."

Umbra bowed slightly again, and opened the door. He walked over to the bed and sat down in it, lightly bouncing to test it. He looked out the door, waved, and then looked out the window.

Umbra left the room, and headed towards what he thought he saw as a garden. He found it, and knelt next to the pond, staring into the water. He moved his robe from covering his mouth, and tried to speak. He saw the smoke slowly emerge from his mouth, and he instantly shut it. His eye turned dark red, and he swatted at the water, dispersing his reflection.

He continued drumming, only half hearing her... untill the vase broke. He quickly turned to Erica. "Yeah, lets go."
