Yeah, I pretty much forgot where any of the trading posts were, so I was going to the Forest Village, Kolbold Village, and South Window. 50,000 potch with sugar and mayo is a little insane, so I quit.

I never trade unless I have to. Although I always blow money sharpening so my money runs dry fast.

Uh.. hello. Forgive me if this thread requires a "story" type discussion type question. I've never played Suikoden II, but I've played III and up. I plan to order Suiko II, but is it worth the 150 dollars it's cost? I'd really like some input about it. Thanks.

I would go for it, but I would personally get the first one first. But if you don't want to, I would try and find it as cheap as possible (eBay isn't the ONLY online store) and get it. If you liked the other Suikodens then you'll love SII (SI was better though, hurrhurr...).

Well I would like it cheap but I would like it if I payed 150 dollars and it wouldn't start glitching and stop working. I'd rather pay more for it to last longer rather than it be cheap and covered in scratches. (Looked on Amazon and found that price, if anyone finds a better store to get it.. PM or tell me!)

Shopzilla is good too I think. Although just so you know that 150 dollar one always has a chance of glitching out too. Even if it's shrink-wrapped their are always defective products. I'd rather get boned with a 50-80 buck product than a 150 one. Plus I got my Suikoden 2 used and it works fine...

Meh, Guidebooks. They're just a crappy version of gamefaqs that you pay for in my opinion. They have innacurate info all the time and take up so much space. The best way to get a cheap copy of something rare is to go to some rural town and check all the local gaming stores. They usually have some nice finds.
