Adriana laughed. That was what... ten years ago? (I'm thinking my character is 20. Ranu left when she was 10.) She shook her head at her friend. "No... this is the foal of the foal we birthed," she said. "Navarro here is only two years of age, so he's still a little tempered," she explained, swinging one leg swiftlt over the brwo saddle, pushing off with the other. "I don't know about you, but I plan to stay here for the night. There's no way I'm traveling in that storm!"

Ranu nodded, "I wondere,d cause the eyes are the same. He turnt as his horse appeared. A pitch black horse, with a white patch between its lazy brown eyes. "Heres shadow." he said with a grin, patting the horse, and rubbing it between the eyes, while turning to Adriana, "Yeah, I think I'll stay to. Shadow avoids the rain, if he can help it." With that said, he put a foot in the hoop of the own made saddle, put his weight on that foot, and pushed up witht he other, swinging it over the horse. "Shadows about 3," He said.

"No... I couldn't risk having an old horse these days. You need speed sometimes, even if this sorrel is a bit skitish. He'll grow out of it... hopefully. After all, a maiden of Rohan needs a good horse. It will come over time," she said, the word Rohan slipping of her tounge easily. When was the last time she had been... home? It must have been at least thrre or four years.

Ranu grinned, "I guess, by rights, I should be on a goat, being a northerner" he replied, remembering a joke they used to have. "I had to settle for a black horse though. He patted the horses neck lovingly. "And I'm glad," he told the horse.

"I wouldn't be suprised if one took you as some sort of evil with that horse," she commented with a slight smile, though she did admire the sheen pure black color of the horse's coat, but she admired her steed as well. She tapped her heels against Navarro's barrel. She needed to find some sort of place to settle... anywhere but that throne room.

[RANU! =D] Adriana nodded her head. "It sound like a good plan. I couls use another dagger or so, loosing two of them in my last fight," she explained as she remembered her last encounter with five orcs, though they must have been a rouge band or lookouts to be such a small number. It was an easy fight, she taking her position in the trees. Three arrows. Two daggers. Five dead bodies.

Ranu laughed, "I lost my trousers in a fight once." He looked up a moment, "Fought a female warrier band, after they started it. Started to lose, so they decided to leave me naked in the desert." He laughed, "I got away, but had to leave my trousers there in my escape.
He led his horse alongside Adriana's as he rode, looking around.

Kar bit his lip. It was akward riding with the two, and it was obvious he had rubed the other the wrong way. He bit his lip harder to keep from smilling.

"Sure." Kareswen said with a shrug, unable to think of a suitable excuse to leave. She irritably wished that Kar would just go away but that was unlikely to happen. She was either immune to the hostility she felt for him, or he was enjoying it. Kareswen suspected the latter and it just increased her desire to put as much distance between the pair of them as possible.

Kar regained his posture. And latched his pole axe on his back, taking the bow off and instead mounting his bow on the side horn on the bag that was strappde to his warg. Chances were that he would be using it first, so mise as well have it ready.
