Nato felt very pethetic as he was only carrying one watermelon. He was draging behind the others when he heard something. Seeing Kazuki walked in the direction of the sound, he followed very curiously. Coming to stand by Kazuki's side, he saw a rabbit...with horns? How odd. Nato jumped back at the same time as Kazuki as a white blur passed by. Sniffing the air he could tell it was another modifox. With a strange urge to proctect his elder, Nato took a defence pose almost infront of Kazuki.

Kazuki blinked surpised by Nato's reaction. He moved to be infront of Nato.
"Nato its alright I shall be fine. I think it would be best if you go and head the others." He smield softly but couldn't help feel odd. Why did Nato do that? He was a Shaman yes but not a protecter or another Elder. It was odd why protect an Elder? Shouldn't an Elder protect?

Nato didn't want to back down. The elders were the leaders. The ones who give prayers. If something should happen to them..He didn't want to think about it. He could easily be replaced. But not Kazuki. Lowering his defence, Nato stepped to the side. He didn't want to leave Kazuki alone with some unknown modifox but he didn't want to disrespect his elder either. Not all modifoxes were as calm and unviolant as they were. Nato wanted to stay around incase someone got hurt.
He stepped a few steps backwards but was being very reluctant to leave.

Kazuki admired Nato's determination and smiled.
"Alright you can stay.." He glanced around to see if he could see the white fox that had flew by them. The rabbit appeared to be gone though that rabbit was very odd and funny looking. They should see if there were more of its kind.

Ari picked up a vine in his teeth, and followed the others. He wished he could carry more, but he still had his daughter sleeping on his back, and there wasn't much he could do about that. While the tribe lands were fairly safe, there were plenty of dangers for a small kit like her, and he would much rather keep her with him, than hope that she learned to fend for herself.
So, because of Sigal, Ari stayed behind with the others at the cave, while Kazuki went off to investigate. Ari hoped he would get some time alone with Kazuki later in the night, so he could explain the whole thing with his daughter--he had seen that look in Kazuki's eyes, and knew what it meant, and he didn't want something like that to get between them.

Anjafey nodded at Kazuki before watching him run off. Continuing to carry the watermelons, Anjafey stopped long enough to send Rendo a hurt glare. Turning back around, she said quietly, "It's not my fault you decided to follow me and not continue." She left it at that, wanting to get to the caves quickly.

Carrying her watermelon, Amira stared in the direction that Kazuki and Nato had disappeared. She was very worried, but also saw the need to get the food to the caves. After hesitating for a moment, she turned and followed Anjafey to the caves. Hopefully the other two foxes would be all right.

Rendo looked down in shame. "Yeah, I have no right to say that..." He said as he pulled then he noticed Sigal and dropeing his vine again he said to Ari. "A new kit? Might want to let Anjafey take care of it." He said as he conintued pulling his vines to the cave.

PassionateLunarElf Kazuki ears also perked up. He set down the melons he was carrying and looked around.
"Anjafey continue down this path towards the mountian and pick a cave in which to store the watermelons. I'm going to check on what I heard."Kazuki quickly went behind a bush. He walked out into a clearing where he saw the odd lookign rabbit run by and was nearly knocked by by a fast moving white blurr. He jumped back and got defense when he saw it was another Modifox.
"Who are you?" Kazuki said with some suspision though he realised the other was only hunting for the rabbit. Shai leapt around and snarled. He eyed Kazuki and sniffed the air. One of the tribe members. "I am Shai. A loner." Shai said, crouching down and relaxing a little, but not to much. He licked his paw as he eyed Kazuki. "Am I disturbing you?" He asked with a mouthful of fur.

"She's my daughter," Ari said to Rendo. He really didn't want to give her over to another, even though he knew that Anjafey would take excellent care of Sigal. He would just feel like a bad parent if he did, and with the whole Heartbreak thing already weighing on him, he didn't want to have to deal with added guilt at being a bad parent. He just hoped that the other kit was being taken good care of by Heartbreak.
Although, maybe he should give Sigal to Anjafey for a bit. He really did want to know what was going on with Kazuki and Nato and whatever was out there.
No, he would serve the tribe best by staying where he was, and watching those with him, if whatever was out there was a threat to the tribe.

Rendo looked at Ari surprised. "I never knew you had a daughter...I see your remblence....." He looked at her pattern and piced it together. "Is Heartbreak the mother?" He asked looking at the kit, he never thouhgt Heartbreak would ever get a mate. He then went on. "I could watch her if you ever need to do something." He added happly, he liked to see and play with kits, normaly away from others so they didn't think he was still acting like a kit.

"I am looking to join a tribe. I came here in search for one, and for some food. It can't hurt that I was hunting here, can it? Also, your tribe is a little small, isn't it?" Shai said, his eyes hinting at something. He licked his paw again before starting.
"Anyway, I've been watching your tribe for a while. It's like a family. Not like I would know what that is."

"Well hunting here is a problem since you did not ask for permission first of all from either myself or the other Elder. Then again I guess since you didn't hurt anyone its alright." Kazuki was a bit surpised that their tribe was called small. He didn't think it was was but then again maybe this other fox had seen bigger tribes.
"Even if you think or say we are small size shouldn't matter. Yet if you want to join this tribe how about a small test. I am sure that the others will be hungry from carrying the watermelons, why dont you hunt down a meal for the tribe." He smiled at the other fox calmy and then sat down relaxing now that he knew the other was no threat.
"I shall go to watch you and help you carry what you kill. Is that alright with you?"

Anjafey ignored Rendo and spoke to Ari. "Let me know if you ever need help with her, alright?" She smiled softly at the it on his back. She then resumed carrying her watermelons to the cave.
