i prefer woodwinds but thats b/c i play the alto sax but i consider both to be equally good since woodwinds are able to play fast and brass is able to play loud..i dont know. thats my opinion

well i play the bass clarinet and condsidered a low brass, then i play the clarinet...........so i don't care, all i have to say is that my band's flute and some of the trumpet section, they suck........lol

woodwinds kick brass any day....
but winds in general are awsome when it comes to tuning compared to strings.don't get me wrong i love strings it's just they take way too long! sweatdrop

BRASS! My first year of middle school band I was asked to switch from flute to tuba. ^^() I couldn't even read bass clef yet! It was awesome though, and I kept with it. It's just that feeling of power. *shiver*

I'm a woodwind person but I was going to play trumpet or trombone. I'm really glad I stuck with the oboe though!

Durza the Shade Woodwinds! I originally wanted to play trumpet, but as it turned out, I couldn't buzz my lips worth squat, so I went with clarinet, my second choice. I'm glad now I did, I'd much rather hang out with a bunch of girls (I'm the only male woodwind, besides the saxophones) than some of those brass guys. *shudders*
Except for that last part about the male and female woodwind and brass thing.

Hm. I'll say brass...cuz I play trumpet, but I can play clarinet and flute too. And those are easier to play, in my opinion. But, I'll say brass, because it's harder than it looks. Just cuz it has 3 buttons, doesn't mean it's not difficult. ^^ wink
