"Hang on a sec," Adrian grumbled from underneath the shelf. Since he didn't seem to be waking up, Adrian got a hold of Erae by the scruff of the neck and dragged him out from the shadows. He rose from the floor, carrying Erae in his arms and went over to Kanth, setting the skunk in the man's lap. "Sorry about the dust," Adrian muttered, brushing himself off before returning to Anastasia's side. "Now why would I want to start pulling out all the plushies? I don't think Iris would approve of them getting thrown around and dirty," he said, putting his hands on his hips and tilting his head as he looked at her.

And sorry for taking so long to reply sweatdrop School's been murder))
Shrugging, Moo straightened up somewhat, fighting back a yawn. "Sure, though I'd rather not go outside if we can help it. Don't like the cold." She grimaced at the thought, then glanced around the room. "Hmm... There must be something..."
Acia really didn't care that she was the first to be found. They would never have found her had this strange pink creature not been 'kupo'ing at plushes. But she didn't mind, she was tired of hiding anyway. And she hadn't met this...whatever it was yet, so now she would! Squirming free of the plushes, she waved cheerfully down to Adrian and Ana to acknowledge the loss, then turned back to Arden. "Hi, I'm Acia! And I'm sorry, but I can't understand you. That's another language? One of my brothers talks in another language. I can't understand him either." She smiled.

Anastasia purpled impatiently. "You gotta pull 'em off 'cause that must be where she's hiding at," she explained to her thick-witted assistant. "An it's not like they'll get DIRTY, you can pick 'em all up once we've found Willow!"
This game was really pretty simple, but having someone who did what she told him to was, Anastasia decided, pretty cool. Except that this one needed an awful lot of explaining-to.

Taking Erae, Kanth blinked, then sighed. "Great. HE's hibernating," He murmured after examining him by holding him up gently. Tilting his head to the side, he stood up and smiled at Adrian and Moo, waving. "I'm sorry to cut the visit short, but I must be off. This just isn't a party with me here and not Erae." Ducking his head, he walked out, having said his goodbyes and the like.

*LP watched kanth leave and gave a soft wave. To him and the sleeping erae.* Oh dear. I guess we're one less to party with. *She over heard ana's explaining things and snickered*
*willow lofted a brow at ana, not sure if ana was looking in her direction or not. Hoping she wasn't, but the display put on by her was rather funny.*

Arden breathed a little sigh, and scratched the back of his head, slightly embarassed. "Kupo..." he nodded.
I've gotta learn to speak this... Wonder if Shard'll teach me? For some reason, he seemed to understand language fairly well, even if he couldn't exactly talk, yet. He reached out his paw, to shake Acia's hand. "Ku... Kupo!"
He glanced at Shard. I've gotta get him to introduce me...
Shard watched Kanth go, and focused his magic for a moment. He whispered 'Good luck,' into a tendril of air that would reach her, and her only, as she was shutting the door.
Erae, hibernating? Perhaps this means that I can visit without him getting on my... Shard glanced over to Arden, who was talking avidly with a sugar glider. He seemed somewhat embarassed. The moogle met his eyes, Shard wondered if he should come over. He looked at Moo.
"It looks like our velvets are getting along, fairly well," he said, warmly. "Do you want to go over, and introduce ourselves?"

Adrian spared a glance at Acia and gave her a wink. He looked back to the... purple Anastasia, and said, "How 'bout I just pull them off one at a time and set 'em back down? It'll save making a mess to clean up later."
He was startled when Kanth suddenly announced that he was leaving, and had barely opened his mouth when the door slammed shut behind the man. Adrian was a tad put out by this; Kanth had dragged him here and barely said a word to him all night. At least Adrian would be able to find his way home... somehow.
A sudden rumbling in his stomach reminded Adrian that he hadn't had dinner this evening. He sighed and made a face to himself as he placed a hand over his abdomen and knelt on the floor. He usually tried to eat something before the pains got this bad. He glanced at the shelf and started looking closely at the plushies lined up along it. "I think I have a better idea," he murmured, reaching his hand out towards the shelf. He didn't touch anything -- he didn't need to. He concentrated, and could feel the auras of Anastasia, Acia, and Arden close by, but nothing coming from the plushies in front of him. He moved along the shelf on his knees, stopping ocassionally to make sure he hadn't passed anything by.

This minion was hopeless! Instead of clearing the shelves in one quick go, he was actually crawling along on his hands and knees, looking at each and every plushie... or something like that. Anastasia thought he was looking, anyway.
Her colors faded from purple to green and brown once more, and she walked along beside her kneeling minion. Somehow, when she'd started helping him, she'd really expected him to do what she said more.
Back on the couch, Anastasia's guardian smothered a grin and nudged LP. "Don't stare, but I think Anastasia's found a new favorite toy," he murmered to her quietly. "How long do you think willow can last, outnumbered like that?"

*LP chuckled softly and then whispered back to ar* If that was me I'd have found her frist. But she's really good at being still... most the time so it may take a while. *glanceing from ana to willow back to ar making it seem she's looking around the shop.* I doubt anyone would think to look higher than the bottom shelf for her. But she's really a good jumper. Which is bad in my case. It might take her a shelf in the middle but she can get to the top if she wanted. She's watched way to much tv. Plus being related to felines helps. *Shaking of her head she could help but giggle at ana.* I supect her play toy isn't much in the mood for playing.
*willow heard LP speaking her eyes glanced over at her owner unhappily quite it was easy as long as she stayed in the corner[sp] shelves and jumped from one to another after jumping to the second shelf but that was kinda redundant when she could easily hide in the plush toys in the middle of shelves, Away from the other side of the counter her eyes moved to see where this human that was looking for her was. seemingly he wasn't to far away. But if she could stay still long enough he might just give up. Suddenly her ear twitched, an awful itch took it over. She forced herself to be still.... she'd either be found forcing her ear to stay still or scratching the devil outa it.

Shard felt Adrian's aura change, and turned to look at him, his eyes sharpening behind his mask. The aura had flared, slightly, as Adrian extended his senses. Shard had no idea how, or how far... but knew one key bit. This boy has had training as a mage... he's more than just a prankster. Shard looked back to Arden, then to Moo.
"Well?"
Arden was enjoying his new companion, but had elected to watch the rest of the game. He knew full well what Adrian was doing, but kept his silence. After all, the only person that would understand him was probably Shard... and he'd already know. He had taught him the trick, after all. Still, he raised an eyebrow. I don't know the rules... but... isn't that a little like cheating? Eh... maybe it's fair...
Idly, he considered trying to play a trick on Adrian... But wasn't sure if he could actually manage it. He looked back to Shard, then to Acia. "Kupo..." He murmered discontentedly, pointing out Adrian's efforts to search.

He'd gone down the whole shelf, but Adrian couldn't find any signs of the tiger. His magic flared out unexpectedly, catching the auras of every creature in the room -- and probably every creature within a mile's radius of the store. Adrian swore to himself and reigned it back in, cutting the connection to his magic before it got too out of hand. He held his head for a moment, waiting for it to stop throbbing before he looked up and around the store. Way to make an idiot of yourself, Karlet, he thought bitterly. He stood and looked past the counter to one of the other shelves he hadn't noticed. Yes, he thought he'd felt something over there before his magic glitched.
He walked over to the shelf and started looking at the top row and moving his eyes down the shelf. Tiger, tiger...

*her ear really wanted to be scratched, butthe seeker was so close... ohhh what to do. She stay there as still as a statue, well as close to one as she could get, waiting... She wanted him to point her out. She wouldn't move till then, but while on that middle shelf she heard something.... didn't sound like a human nor animal and it was close to her.... like that thing she sees but it's not really there.*
