Actually, there are alot of Clana fans...More than Chlakr fans. There are polls about Smallville put up on the cw11 network.

Also not scientific or representative. neutral
They represent only a small section of Smallville viewers, i.e., the section that has access to the internet and is interested in participating in related polls. I'm not saying that Clana is unpopular, because we all know that's not true; I'm just saying that internet polls don't prove anything either way and I don't consider them important.
Also don't really care how many fans of each 'ship there are. I don't think the writers should pander to the shippers.

Which means nothing, New York is One state out of the entire WORLD who watches it. Smallville doesn't only air in the United States.

They prove Clana is popular in the section of the New York population that has access to the internet and used it to participate in specific online polls about Smallville.

Exactly which is a very Small portion of the total population of viewers which like you said basically proves nothing.
