Reiha watched as Erik did those things for Berial and saw how the boy just didn't seem to mind. He shrugged. He liked ERik though. Not to say Reiha didn't, Erik was going to teach her magic after all but she lives with Adian and she didn't like him so she didn't want to depend on him.
Not that Reiha really minded. Suddenly the girl looked up and jumped down from her chair, walking over to the door. Reaching over she opened the door and in flew Korbin.
"You're back!" Reiha said happily, hugging the bird to her.
"Of course I'm back" Korbin muttered grouchly. "Where else would I go?" The bird then nuzzeled under his chin and fluttered a bit closer before the arms let him go and he could flutter up to the top of her head and perch. He really prefered it there, he could really watch out for Reiha that way.

Erik stiffled whatever it was he was going to say about bird in the kitchen being unhygenic at the sight of how happy Reiha was to see Korbin back. Letting it pass, he turned to fth some napkins for Berial, who had already succeded in sloshing a bit of milk onto the table.
Berial looked up at Reiha's movement and smiled. "MO.." He stoped, swalling the bits of cereal that ahd been in his mouth. "Mornin' Korbin.."

Korbin turned to glare at Berial for a moment but since he was just being nice (and looked so harmless surouded by a mess) he nodded a little in greating. Not like the boy could understand his words. Reiha could though so he mentioned,
"I saw Adian driving up when I was flying, he'll be here in five minutes"
"He doesn't normally get up this early" Reiha mentioned distainfully. He didn't see sunrises, just another reason to dislike the man who was her gaurdian. He shrugged and continued to eat, surpised by the surge of disapointment in her. She didn't want to leave Berial and Erik. She was having fun here....

Erik looked a bit cofused as he reached over, wiping the milk from the table, before glancing over at Reiha and Korbin. "Who doesn;t get up this early?" He asked. He assumed it was Korbin, but for all eh knew some conversation had gone on between the two and they were now talking about someone else.
Berial smiled up at Erik and tried quite hard to be neater, as he spooned up his cereal.. Taking the bowl into his ahnds he lifted it to his face, drinking the remains of the milk before putting the bowl down, a milk mustache gracing his top lip. "M' Done!"

"Oh Adian. Korbin said he saw him comming and he'll be here in a few minutes" Reiha informed Erik. "Adian normally sleeps in late" she added in a slight sneer before she looked over at Berial and giggled. With her cerial gone she also lifted the bowl and drank all the milk, getting her own milk mustashe as she grined at the boy.
Korbin watched it all in amazment. AT home Reiha normally is in her room, reading or talk to him or something. She doesn't smile like this. Korbin watched Berial, it was this boys doing. Reiha has met a few people but she really connected with this one. Korbin nodded as he decided. To protect Reiha he would have to protect Berial too. It was the only way.

He nodded softly. "I'll be abck. Just drop the bowls in the sink please.." He said, walking off to get the book and crystal he ahd promised Reiha.
Berial ndoded as his guardian left, liking his lips in an attempt to get rid of his mustache. Climbing down from the chair he reached for his bowl, gripping it tightly as he walked over and dropped it (with no real subtly or care) into the sink. Erik (ater learning how cautiousBerial was with dishes) had thankfully given him a plastic bowl.
"I hope Adian lets you come over again." Berial said, moving back to the table. He was a bit worried now.. "I hope he doens;t get mad you got hurt.." He said, in reference the burns she ahd received from the cyrstal..

Reiha had forgotten those burns and looked to where they were. "It's okay" she asured her friend, climbing down from the chair and grabing her spoon and bowel. She droped hers in the sink with more care than Berial but it was proably good that hers was plastic as well. Mostly because she couldn't place the bowel in the sink at her height.
"I'll come over again" Reiha promised, smiling at her best human friend. ""Or maybe next time you can come with me." she offered easily, "I don't care. Don't worry. Adian can't stop me" she smiled, "Besides it's not like it hurts or anything. I don't think he will care."

Berial frowned. "Adian doens't sound like a very good Mu.." He said.. Adian ahdn;t seemed that bad when he met him, but Reiha didn;t seem to like the man at all. Looking up at Reiha he only nodded. "Why don't you ask Erik if he can be your Mu too? Then you could live here with us." It was obvious Berial still wans't THAT clear on what a Mu was.

Reiha wasn't sure what a Mu was ethir so she blinked at the idea and mused for a moment. Ask to live with Berial and ERik. That be great. Then she'd enver have to leave. She'd ask Erik as soon as he came back! It would be great, she could learn magic and sleep with Berial and Korbin would have the forest right out side.
Unaware that Reiha was planing on leaving him Adia was in a great mood. His date when wonderfully and he still had energy dispite staying up all night. ( wink ) He figured he'd go pick up Reiha, get her something like a new book and let the little urchin do as she will while he crashed. The man whistled and grined as he saw the house. God such a great mood.

Erik strode into the kitchen then, a old tattered book in one ahnd, and a small crystal in the other. Inside of the book were tucked a small paper with some more baic words she could prctice with. He wasn;t ready for when Beirla barreled into him, clinging to his leg.
"Erik. Can you be Reiha's Mu too? PLEEEASSE!"

Korbin watched all of this with slight amusement. Unliked Reiha he didn't see Adian letting her go. Though Korbin aproved of Reiha staying here where Erik didn't care about Korbin being in the house and where she smiled and laughed alot some part of him doubted Adian would like letting her go. Even if he had been eager to looser her for a weekend night.
Reiha giggled at Berial rushed forwrad and she smiled up at Erik. "Please? I like it here better than at Adian's and you're nicer than he is" she added. In reality he was just meeker and didn't oppose Reiha the way Adian did.

Erik's eyes widened and she tried to pry Berial off his leg. "I.. I'm sorry but, Adian's your guardian.. You're free to come over whenever you like, but other than that.." He said, tyring not to look at Berial.
and not lookign at Beirla was a wise move. He was pouting, a lot.. "But..."
"No buts, Berial.." Erik said, for the first time a hint of sternnes entering his voice, though it vanished as fast as it had come. "I'm sorry.." He said, placing the book and crystal on the table after Berial reluctatly released his leg.. "These are for you, Reiha.."

Reiha's face fell as she looked to the ground sadly. She wasn't one to pout like Berial, she moped and ploted more. She turned and took the book and crystals, knowing that she couldn't yell at ERik because hew as going to teacher her amgic but she did send him one hard glare.
Korbin expected ths to happen but sicne Reiha washurt he glared at Erik too. He didn't need to be so harsh about it after all. If he was smarter he would of done it better.
And in admist of all this Erik hating Adian steped in. He didn't knock, didn't ring the door open, just opened the door like he lived there all his life. "Hooooooooney I'm Hoooooooome" he called out in a cuban accent and laughed at his own hiliarity. "Man oh man did I have a great night" she called out, walking over to the kids. "Hey squirt" he ruffeled Berial's hair then grined at REiha, "She-squirt" he ruffeled her hair too, getting twin glares from both girl and crow but not carring. "Thanks for taking the kids Erik" Adiain added. "Did they have fun?"

Erik tried not to flinch at thier glares, but looked up at Adian's call. He'd leave Adian to deal with this one (or so he hoped).
Berial looked up as Adian riffled his hair, and pouted further, squaring his shoulders and screwing his face up beofre he gave Adian a good hard shove in the side. "Go away!" He said, loudly and angrily. He wasn;t letting Adian take Reiha, not if he was so bad to her.

Adian actually stumbled at how suddenly Berial 'attacked' him. "Wow. I geuss you had lots of fun if you don't want it to end yet" Adian tottally took it a different way but shrugged, "Sorry kid but if I don't take ReiRei now I don't think I'll wake up for a week" he laughed, then winked at Erik. "I stayed up all night last night"
Reiha held the book and crystals to her, pouting a bit as she glared, liking how Berial tried to protect her and everything. He was sweet. A part of her felt guilty though. She knew Adian wasn't a bad guy. He was just stupid. That's why Reiha didn't like him, because he was stupid and thought he could control her. He never...hurt her or anything.
Korbin was just enjoying the show, snickering at the little boy's attempt to be nobel. Humans were so werid. Still he admired the boy for trying and Korbin was doing something rare. He was starting to like someone other than Reiha. Tomorrow he'd proably hate Berial again, but for this second he almost sort of kind of liked him.
