Mityl woke up to find the kitsune Gerrick staring into her face. the first thing she noticed was that Notole was still alive and crying.
"Why did you survive?"
Notole: "all of fey blood survive if their trine is destroyed it is the other races that perish..they are normally not as strong magically and go into shock."
Mityl got up slowly.
"You're still a traitor.."
Notole: "I know.."
"you were my godmother...why did you betray us? betray me?"
tears were welling up in Mityl's eyes.
Notole: "Because they would have killed me for being this powerful.."
"...You get one last request."
Notole: "take care of my children..Gerrick and Areyetta.."
"done"
Mityl cut the fey's cheek. and growled through clenched teeth.
"Get out. Now....before I change my mind. and if I ever see you again, I'll strike you down in front of the gods and everyone."
on that note Notole ran as fast as she could giving the kitsunes only a backward glance.

For the first time ever in all his life Oak is asleep a troubling look on his face. (He should not be asleep like this. Mytil can feel something is wrong.)
Oak has a fever and although he does not sweat Oak is clammy all over. When you look at his feet their dry cracking and encrusted with salt, he looks very sick.

sha ran to keely holding her."Hey kid wake up...what did you.."Sha noticed her pendant...then her pointed ears...and then a mark on her neck.."Oh my.."Sha'a eyes widened"Shes a elven white mage..but I thought they were wiped out?"Sha glanced around at the others to and saw mityl."Hey are you okay."he said standing up with keel in his arms.

Sha did as he was told, he was really concerned about everyone but especially keel and tassa."Hey uh wheres tassa?"he held keely's eyelids open.

Mityl stared into Kelly's eyes a moment then told Sha he could close them again.
"Tassa should be next to Oak where I left her..."
she slowly felt the healing energy fill her and she molded it around her fey powers. she opened Oak's eyes and looked into their crystaline depths transferring that energy to him. it suddenly drew all her energy out in such force that it drew a gasp from Mityl. for the second time in the clearing she passed out.

Slowly you see Oak stir "Too dry, no water, need to drink. Im burning!" An oak breathes raspy and ragged in utter delirium. What ever this was, was not magical in nature and was not easily remedied through magical means. Oaks lips were beginning to crack and his hair has an off yellow, wilting as if it were left too long in the hot sun.

Mityl felt Oak wilting and wanted desperately to save him. she forced her way up through the thick blackness that had consumed her. slowly she regained conciousness.
"Oak?...Gerrick help me..."
she got up weakly and hobbled to the well behind the oak tree. to get Oak some water. the kitsune obediantly helped her to the well and helped her draw water from the well and carry the bucket back to Oak. painstakingly they rinsed off his roots.

Oaks breath slows and begins to resemble something of its normal rhythm. However his skin seems brittle and the color of his hair has not returned. In addition his body has taken on a sickly gray pallor. Tears are involuntarily running from his eyes causing trails of salt to follow them down his cheeks burning them and causing irritation as they go.

Mityl opened Oak's eyes and stared into them drawing on his strength, then she pulled Oak away from the salted ground. tears streaming down her cheeks.
"Oak..don't die on me. please don't die on me..."
she pulled him to the edge of the clearing toward the well. when she got him there she poured water over him continually. waiting for the color to return to Oak's skin.

Slowly and gradually as the water is flushed through him his body begins to return to normal. His breath evens out and his skin regains its tough calloused feel. His Hair regains its green color except three leaves that remain yellow near the right side of his face. He is still passed out but he seems comfortable again. He smiles in his passed out state "Mytil...."

she kissed Oak's forehead.
"I'm here Oak. I'll never leave you to suffer alone..."
she curled up next to him resting her head on his chest. her words barely a whisper.
"I love you Oak.."

Crying Oak turns towards Mytils voice "I miss you, Mother im so sorry. I couldn't save you. Where are you father tell me what I should do....." Oak crys hard, shaking a bit from long held emmotions flooding out of him all at once. He reaches out, finding Mytil already in his arms he hugs her close to his body holding her tight.

Mityl nuzzled Oak's cheek, kissing away his tears.
"don't cry. they are safe on the other side of the great divide."
she softly sang the lullaby her mother used to sing to her as a child.

Slowly his tears would not come any more by the time he began to wake it was sunrise again. As Oak in a very confused state looks around him he notices Mytil in his arms. Blushing a Bright Green He says in a bit of a panic "WHAT HAPPENED HERE?"
