Sid felt numb all over again. Too many things were running through his head, doubts and frustrations he'd pushed aside for so long he was overwhelmed when all came rushing back. He just stood there, his eyes roving over all the graves. What was the use in fighting? There'd never been any hope for him before he set foot on the island, and the only thing that had changed was, well, him. He uttered a very soft, manic laugh with that thought.

"God damn it."
Jamal stalked out of the jungle, his patience long ago run thin, and more or less thwapped Billy upside the head by sticking his striped arm out through the slit he had made in his sheet. That sent his sheet ruffling about in the air, hardly a discouragement to Billy's claim that Jamal was a ghost.
"Look at me, jesus christ. Ya look tripped!...what da hell ya been smoking fo' christsake!"
He peered at Billy through the lopsided eyeholes that were ringed with blood, as was a good 75% of the front of his bedsheet.

Bobby held on to Pyroth, afraid he would lunge at the woman, and then what? Something would probably happen where she would be powerless to prevent. God, how she hated this, she had absolutely no control here! "Don't," she said quietly, only for the coyote's ears, glaring at the woman anyways, marking her appearance and scent. "She isn't worth your effort."
Besides, what goes around, comes around... right?

Gaius ignored the shouting as he pushed past. Let others deal with whatever was going on, his goal was the two girls huddled together beside the graves.
Once he'd gotten within a few feet of them, he hesitated, wavering. Should he really intrude on this? But then, if he didn't...
Shifting forward, Gaius knelt beside them and placed a hand on Nita's shoulder. "Hey..." he said softly, "Come on, let's get you two away from here... this is no place for any lady to be..."

He wanted to hit this women, the fear he felt was almost gone replaced with anger. “The way you talk I gather you are one the lab techs here? You have no right, take it back!!!!”

Alec accepted the bottle without even looking up to see who had offered it, the voice of the man triggering nothing but a faint twitch of a memory as he seemed very lost in his thoughts. It wasn't as if he was a brother or neighbor or some other significant member of his life but to know a person and hear their voice in their minds was enough to make him sad to see them gone. "Thanks." He barely mumbled, uncapping the drink and taking a long swig, planning to finish the entire bottle between himself ... and Nathan.

((I think it's okay that one person called it... That last bit of dialogue was kind of revealing. But don't sweat it... She'll play along.))
Ginerva's face paled a little. She blew it. She had let Sabin down. She had placed herself in a precarious situation, as well.
But, she had to steele herself. Her head rose up high, and her smile turned toothy and proud. Her buck teeth made her disturbing appearance all the more bizzarre. "Justice? Who are you to decide what is just? I see none of you in any position to make such a judgement." She chuckled. "We did not kill these people. We tested them, and they failed. Perhaps you would do wise to ensure that you do not make the same mistakes they did. In our world, WE are justice."
Inside, she still trembled. There was a great deal of them, after all.

"Hey-" F began, quickly getting to his feet and trailing after the lizard-like man in the dress.
He recognised the guy as the thing he'd run from his first day on the island. F had meant to hunt him down to apologise since then, but like many things, he'd never gotten around to it. Plus, he also wanted to get out of the area.

The tension in the air was getting to Sid... so was the pain in his leg. He looked up and looked around, trying to find where Alec and Billy had gotten off to. Billy was easy enough to spot, so he hobbled over.
"We should probably go," he said.
Funny that he didn't notice the guy in the blood sheet until he was standing right next to the wheelchair. "Oh. Uh... Hi."

Pyroth couldn't take more of it, couldn't listen to more lies and arrogance. He sagged in his aggressive posture, turning to Bobby and saying simply.
"I'm out of here, I need some time to think." he knew the night's latter sights would stay with him for a very long time.

Kikue jerked her head up, staring at the man who had approached. She held Nita's hand tighter, her ears still back. She was crying, but was only vaguely aware of it. Kikue tried to say something in reply, but it was as if the words had tried to crawl out of her throat only to die in her mouth. She could only stare. She didn't know what to do -- for the first time in such a long time, she had no idea what to do.
The woman behind the graves was being yelled at. People were scattered around in groups, some people crying, others looking like they were sulking. Wasn't this supposed to be a Halloween party...
She looked down at her costume, noticing it was ruined until further notice...covered in scraps of spiderweb and stains from the crook in the jungle where half of the jungle's animals were probably laying dead and mutated.
Kikue opened her mouth; closed it. It felt dry. She didn't know what to do...didn't know how to help Nita.

Tommy nods to Alec and turns to the large group circling Ginerva. He looks her over, sees more than a few predator-looks in the islanders' eyes. He then calmly says, "Lady...you're going to want to leave...right now."
