"Yes, I call them the Labcoats because none of us knew their names. I assume they were scientists because of what they did to us, and all of them wore a labcoat." She paused for a moment, tapped her lower lip again. "The Labcoats explained to us how animals reproduce, but they did not really explain how it is done among humans. I am sorry if I embarassed you." But she did not know why he was embarassed, or at least seemed to be. As far as she knew, there was nothing to be embarassed about.

The tears had stopped falling as she rested her head back against the wall she was leaning against. Her eyes fell once again to the corpse laying in front of her, her body trembling slightly. However, whether it was from rage or sadness, even she wasn't quite sure. What she was sure about was that she couldn't continue to grieve just yet. The body still had to be taken care of. Hauling herself to her feet, she felt lightheaded, and her knees almost gave out from under her, though she quickly steadied herself by grabbing onto the wall. She had killed one of her closest friends.
While this not so new realization brought more tears to her eyes, she swallowed, forcing them back down as she looked down once again. She couldn't very well drag him down into Haven, but just the same she couldn't leave him in some alleyway either. If only dealing with the police were painless and easy, instead she would have to go through what happened, but the fact that she has shot him, though in self defense, made dealing with this kind of case difficult.
Her mind didn?t seem to want to think straight as she rubbed her face with her hands streaking more blood across her cheeks. Finally, she came to a decision. Looking around for something to wrap the body in, she found nothing. "Well...isn't that convenient," she muttered, taking her coat off and draping it over the body. She then drug it over into the shadows where it wouldn't be as noticeable before heading back down towards Haven. Quietly she whispered as she disappeared through the entrance, "I'll come back Drake. I promise."

Finally done with at least three chapters she sat back and blinked. She'd zoned out for quite some time. She ran her fingers through her hair again and thought about ordering something to eat, then decided against it in favor of going outside to explore the city. ((exit to city))

Labcoats.... scientists.... We was raised in a lab? Possibly even... created in one? And when she said, "we called them Labcoats".... There are more like her out there somewhere? I'll have to ask her more when she's ready. I need to look into this.
Shaking his head lightly with an amused grin, he continued speaking to Lydia. "No, Lydia, it's not EXACTLY embarassing. It's just that talking casually about this sort of stuff is generally seen as a minor social taboo."

Len continued to lead the binded Lycan down the street until they approuched Hunter's entracne. He pulled back on Tyler's wrists and halted him. "Oh, incase I forgot, the name's Len Thompson. I'm sure I'll be learning your name shortly here so don't worry about it. Just shut up and let me do the talking." He gave a smile to the two hunters on guard duty.
"Why hello! Uh, I've brought a friend along...uh, business." He said, the two hunters arching their eyebrows at him. "Hey, trainees, don't question me, grab your damn speaker." He said, in a joking, yet serious tone. One of them burrowed his arm into his jacket, soon relieving a walkie-talkie from the confines. He pressed on the switch and spoke into it, telling them to momentarily shut down the Lycan defense systems. Len nodded to him and started to move but stopped and let out his hand toward the two. "You guys are forgetting something..."
The other one pulled a thick dark cloth out of her pocket and handed it to Len. He gave her a grin as he looked back to Tyler. "Alright, you, I'm gonna blind fold you because I can't risk you seeing any of this place, got it? Don't fight back and we won't have a problem." He brought the cloth in front of his face and pulled it back, tieing the ends together quickly and tightly. "Now, hang on for just a minute...that might be on for a while." He figured this Lycan would cooperate, seeing as it had so far.
He pressed him through the now open doors, hurrying and rushing through the dancing crowed. He saw 'Hunter' Wilson look up and quark his eyebrow, already he knowing what Len was bringing into his bar. He then pressed a button under his desk and ordered the Lycan defenses to be put back on, for the Lycan was in, and then shut down momentarily in Haven. Len nodded to him and continued to press him towards the back of the club, and finally to the secret entrance.
It opened and Len guided Tyler down the steel ladder and into the dephs of Haven. So good so far... Len gave a sigh as he thought. He closed the entrance as he entered after the Lycan, his gun now pulled out from being hidden, and re targeted at his guest.
((To Haven.))

Will was still talking to Lydia and waiting on that beer when he saw Len come quietly barging in, restraining a blindfolded figure. Had Len captured a prisoner? Frowning, he stood up and started walking after them. "Sorry Lydia, we'll have to continue this later. If you ever have any more questions about anything, anything at all, you can come talk to me about them, or you can ask Hunter is I'm not around."
Reaching the two just before they got to the Haven entrance, he whispered to Len. "A prisoner?"
Len nodded, and the obvious satisfaction that he showed gave Will an idea of just what sort of prisoner it might be. "A Lycanthrope?"
Again, Len nodded. Will felt relief flood through him. They'd had so very little to go on concerning the Lunites movements, but with a prisoner to interrogate they now had the chance to get some solid information. "Well Len, let's get him downstairs and start questioning him."
The three descended to Haven, Will following Len's lead as he handled the prisoner. Perhaps a promotion for Len is in order, if what we can get out of the lycan proves useful.

She leaned back in the chair, catching the bottom of the table with her knee so she didn't fall on her back. She looked up at the ceiling, thinking about this. Does he not realize that I can still hear his thoughts? Yes...there are more. I wonder where 2, 16, 18, and 24 are anyway, not that I'll be able to find out anymore then they can find me other than by chance. I do not even know the names they chose. Thought it might have been easier if I had been created in a lab.

Walking through the door and into the blareing music, dancing crowd, and the smell of alcahol, she rubbed her eyes slightly, seeming to fight to stay awake. Shoving her way through the crowd, she walked straight through and into the back. Her dukked eyes never made contact with anyone, only with the floor in front of her.
Once in the back of the club, she leaned against the wall opposite the covered body. She didnt have to wait long, thank goodness, before a fat, balding man walked through the back door. Immediately she rushed forwards to him, sniffling slightly as his chubby arms wrapped her in a hug, "Shhh....its alright Kerri," he consoled her.
Hugging him back for a moment, she then took a step back from him, motioning over to the covered body in the shadows. Three other men walked through the door, two of them heading over to the body and hauling it up on a stretched while the third one handed her the blood soaked coat and walked over to the drying blood on the floor, beginning a quick, and yet suprisingly effective clean up. Looking down at the coat, she wanted to cry again, but she was out of tears. Besides, she didnt want to be as emotional again when she went down to see William, Len, and their visitor.
In minutes the body was gone, the blood stain taken care of, and the three men gone as well. Jeff smiled at her as she wrapped her arms around herself, rubbing her arms as he eyes kept trying to close, yet she kept forcing them to reamin open. "Kerrigan...you did nothing wrong, ok? Remember that," he said as he rubbed her head gently then turned and walked out of the club, leaving her alone once more. Rubbing her eyes again, she turned and began to go down into haven once again.

She let the chair fall bcak to rest on all four of its legs again, one hand to her forehead. She was starting to get a headache from the lights, and no matter how she tried, the stary thoughts she heard did not help matters. She logged away what she did hear for future study; the Labcoats had made it clear that nothing was to be overlooked in the search for the supernatural. But she was tired of all the constant babble, and headed towards Haven for some sleep.

Will stepped out of the storage room and strode over to Hunter, urgency in his step. "Hunter, there's an important briefing in a few minutes. Get all of the Hunters up here down into Haven, understood?"
"Aye Billy, I'll take care of it."
Will sighed in relief as Hunter walked across the dance floor over to the DJ's booth. After a few whispered words between Hunter and the DJ, a Hunter named Daichi, the DJ scaled back the music volume and made an announcement. "Attention, all members of the Jackson party. Your presence is required in Hunter's private room. I repeat, members of Mr. Jacksons group, please head to Hunter's private area."
Satisfied with the message that only the Hunters could fully understand, Will walked back down into Haven. He had a war to get ready for.

After the first mission against the Lunites and after he'd taken care of some things in Haven, Will stumbled into the bar, tired and beat. At least he'd washed off the blood covering him before coming up here. Most of that blood had belonged to Charles. How could things have gone so badly? He'd been Hunter leader for a while, and hadn't lost anybody before tonight. It was really eating him up, and he needed a drink. Plopping down in front of the bar, he held out his hand. Almost instantly, there was a bottle of strong vodka placed in it thanks to Hunter. No words were spoken between them, and Will appreciated that. He didn't need to talk, he didn't need to be consoled, and he didn't need help dealing with his grief and guilt. Right now all he needed was to get drunk. Raising the bottle to his lips, he proceeded to do just that.

Alex sat down next to Will without thinking. He wasn't really paying attention to where he was. All he wasnted was a drink. Just a good bottle of Jack Danials to wash away any feelings. Maybe if he was drunk, the chewing up session wouldn't be as bad...
"Jack Danials, if you please..." Alex asked the bartender, placing a ten on the table.

Damn... vodka's not killing brain cells nearly fast enough. Better ask for something stronger. Maybe some of my good ol' moonshine. Yeah, that'd do the trick. Just then Alex sat down too. Poor kid, I know he meant well, but I had to chew him out, for his own good. He probably needs a drink too."Oi, 'unter, gimme some a' my privat stash, willya?"
"Sure Billy, I be fighurin' that ye're needin' it."
"An' a secun glass fer Alek 'ere."
"Coming right up, boyo."
Soon the glasses of booze were filled, and Will raised his glass to the other Hunter. "Well Alex, 'eres to da wunerful life o' a Hunter, killin' lotsa shtuff til the day ya die. Kampai!"
With that he drained the glass in a single gulp, hoping to forget if only for a moment.

Skiaska gave a light, listless wave to the leader as he talked drunkenly. "Hey, 'unter." Going behind the counter she smiled at the older man, concealing her inner conflicts. Grabbing herself a vodka, she sipped casually at ti before chugging it down. Sighing, she refilled. And continued to refill almost three times. Finally, after her fourth round, her head was feeling light and pleasently odd. Yee... I'm definatly getting there... Skiaska smirked as she began humming a quiet tune of 'A pirates life for me'.

She came up from Haven feeling well rested and as good as new. Her shoulder was only stiff now, and she would be getting the stitches out in a couple of days. She finally spotted Skiaska behind the bar, humming and drowning herself in vodka. She sat next to William and held out the trench coat to Skiaska.
"I think you will want this back." She told the other huntress, waiting for Skiaska to take it.
