Brayden couldn't help the chuckle that escaped him, "No worries," he assured Kaya with a smile, "We've all got our fears." It wasn't really his place to judge the prince. After all, he noted, he didn't currently own a single bug type himself.
After dislodging the stubborn strands of cobweb that stuck to his fingers, Brayden leaned down, kissing Kaya on the forehead with a grin.
"I have a couple of Flying types that might be up to the job of bug-chasing," he laughed, half-joking. He was pretty sure Suzu and Aedan would be up to the task. He hadn't had the pair of Torchic out in a long while.
He sat on the floor next to Kaya, cross-legged for a moment, before joining the prince, laying back as he looked to the ceiling. He noticed a few more spiderwebs there too, he realized.
"I'll take any spiders on, if you take care of the Zubat," he joked, looking to Kaya with a grin.

Kaya couldn't help but grin at his partner. "Deal." he agreed. "I'm sure Nao and Mian would love to chase those annoying critters off." he said as he though of the too-long-neglected Gardevoir and Gallade. They were two of his closest companions on his entire journey and he left them alone and secluded in his Box.
He shuddered inwardly. "I need to set up my PC so we can let our Pokemon come out and play for once." he commented as he looked up at his lover.
He eventually got back to his feet and helped Brayden up. "Let's go check out the back garden before we start cleaning up." he suggested with a lopsided grin.

Brayden nodded, "That's true, I'm kind of eager to get a few of my Pokemon I've had in the PC for a while. I'm sure they'd like some fresh air," he commented, before listening to Kaya's suggestion.
Brayden nodded easily in agreement, "Sounds awesome," he grinned, taking the offered hand as he rose from the floor. After making sure that nothing else would jump out at him, Brayden left the bedroom, making his way back to the stairs after a moment's hesitation as he got his bearings. It would take him a little bit to get used to the layout of their new home.

Kaya laughed softly at Brayden's reaction to his suggestion. "I'm in the same position. I'll set it up before we leave." he said as he followed Brayden for the stairs. Once they were down, he led the way to the back of the house, having already figured up a 'general map' in his head.
He figured he already knew where everything should be, given the overall design of the house. If he had to follow an odd path to get there the first time or two, at least he'd know for sure.

A small aircraft was over Floaroma, though it was silent as the wind. No one knew it existed as they went about their lives, not bothering to look up and notice the object blotting out part of the sky.
When two male figures and a smaller female one appeared in the town, no one took notice, the ship hadn't bothered landing to let them out. They had come down via an Altaria's fluffy flight.
The part dragon returned to the ship as the three headed towards the old manor on the outskirts. They'd been given good directions.

"Sure. Tell me if there's anything I can do to help set it up," Brayden agreed, nodding to Kaya as he tailed the prince, heading out the back door, next to what appeared to be a kitchen.
Brayden stepped out into the backyard, smiling faintly.
"Looks like there's more than enough room for our Pokemon," he reasoned to Kaya. Indeed, it looked like there was plenty of room in the land back behind the house. He was glad to find his assumption correct, as he noted a small stream, confirming the source of the sound he had heard from the front of the house.
"So, what do you think?" he asked his partner with a grin.

Kaya nodded to his partner and smiled. "It's beautiful." he replied. "Given, it needs a little work, but then, that's part of why I bought it. I wanted us to make it our own, rather than getting something someone else just...left." he explained.
Hearing voices across the fence, he lifted into the air a bit, just enough to see over it and saw two boys in their late teens and a young girl with them. "Let's head to the front real quick, I think they're here." he remarked, forgetting that Brayden hadn't understood him telling Karmica to send the kids.

"I agree, just a bit of work, but that could actually be fun," Brayden laughed, as he examined the yard. It certainly had potential. But his attention was drawn from the landscape for a minute as Kaya looked over the fence. He couldn't see over it himself, although he thought he had heard voices.
"Who's here?" Brayden piped up, tailing Kaya as he made his way to the front yard.

Kaya landed and smiled. "Family." he replied simply heading back to the front door. When a small Kricketot jumped out of a hall closet in front of him, he released Geal, who used an Ice Punch without a thought. Tossing the frozen bug out the nearest window, he followed Kaya to the front door.
Opening it and stepping out, Kaya saw three people he hadn't seen in years. When Brayden caught up, he'd see him giving the three a round a of hugs. "Bray, I'd like you to meet my niece, Desini." he introduced as he pointed to the 16 year old girl. "And my nephews, Sylphester and Sebastian." he went on, introducing the older blonde and the younger black haired boy respectively.
"They're here to take care of the house and grounds while we're away." he informed. "I had mother send them when we spoke earlier because they needed their own place soon, and we don't have to pay someone we don't trust with them here." he added with a small laugh.

Brayden followed Kaya, making his way out the front door as his friend greeted his family members.
"Nice to meet you," he smiled, nodding to the kids. He hoped he could keep their names straight. He always had a hard time remembering them.
"Desini, Sylphester, and Sebastian," he echoed quietly, trying to keep them straight in his head.
"I'm Brayden," he offered with a smile. He had to admit, he was a bit nervous about meeting part of Kaya's family.
"Its awesome to have some help, though," he admitted with a grin.

"That it is. Now why don't we break out the cleaning stuff and get this place in working order?" he suggested.
Brayden would find himself swarmed by teenage hugs first. "Nice to meet you uncle Brayden!" the three youngsters greeted happily. They'd heard from aunt Krissi that their father didn't know Kaya was gay, so they knew what to expect. Krissi ran into the house and started cleaning immediately. She seemed to love doing it.
Sylphester and Sebastian grabbed Kaya's portable PC and took in in to set it up. "We'll be done soon." they cried as they passed through the door.
"Looks like we get upstairs again." Kaya remarked with a grin.

"Hopefully the upstairs'll be critter-free," Brayden laughed, as he watched the others enter the home. He frowned, realizing that he hadn't warned their new guests about the Pokemon that seemed to lurk in the crannies of the house, ready to leap out at unsuspecting closet openers and curtain-pullers.
"Hey, guys!" he called, hoping the generic call would do. He still hadn't gotten their names all down yet, "Keep a watch out for Pokemon. Kaya and I ran into a few earlier, so I don't want you to run into any surprises," he reasoned, stepping back indoors as he spoke, hoping Kaya's relatives had heard him.
It seemed something else heard him at least. as a Kriketot leaped from the trash bin by the door, chirruping angrily. Brayden jumped, although he certainly should have been used to this by now. He called Cye from his pokeball, looking to the Vaporeon, who blinked at him curiously, not really knowing what to do.
"Could you use an Aqua Tail on the Kriketot?" Brayden asked him. The young Vaporeon looked from Brayden, to the Kriketot, then back to Brayden.
"Vaaaaa?" he piped up, clearly confused.
"Uh, you remember what you did to the Graveller back at Iron Mountain?" Brayden asked. Sai merely shrugged, still not really getting it.
The Kriketot charged, Growling at Sai, who squeaked, leaping straight into the air as he cried out. A flare of energy circled the Vaporeon for a brief second before a blinding flash filled the entryway. Brayden blinked, seeing nothing but spots for a moment as he winced.
"Ow...."
Once he could see clearly again, he found a dazed Kriketot on the floor, and a startled Vaporeon in his arms.
"Uh.... Signal Beam works too, I guess," he offered Sai, who squeaked, flushing faintly before trying to hide himself in Brayden's vest.

Kaya nodded in agreement with his lover's call. "He's got a point, kids. Be careful." he added as he wandered in. See the Kricketot/Vaporeon battle, he couldn't help but grin. "Well...that little one is definitely powerful." he remarked with a small laugh. "If he could learn to not be so easily frightened, he'd probably be much stronger." he added.
After a moment, he heard a few Pokeballs opening and was soon greeted by Mian, Naofa and Loki, all of whom had been retrieved from the newly set up PC. "Well hello there, guys." he greeted as he gave the three a hug each.
"Wanna help us clean up our new home?" he asked. All three nodded eagerly and set to work. Mian and Naofa used their Psychic powers to move things around and Loki used his fern-like tail as a duster to clean up a bit.

"True," Brayden smiled, patting the Vaporeon gently. Sai didn't seem too eager to explore the home, so he let Caliga out of her Pokeball. He scooched the defeated Kriketot back out the door as the bug wandered off, slightly dazed. Hopefully it wouldn't find its way back inside the house.
With the appearance of Cali, Sai seemed a bit more at ease. Whether Caliga enjoyed her role as mock-mother was another issue, but she tolerated it. Brayden searched a few of the closets before locating a rotting old box filled with rags. They seemed clean enough, so Brayden armed the two Eeveelutions with one a piece. With a couple of words from Bray, the two went off on their own, to do a bit of cleaning of their own part. Sai usued a bit of water to help get some of the stains out of the carpet and wood, Caliga acting as scrubber and critter-guard, in case the two ran into any more guests.
"So, shall we tackle the upstairs?" Brayden asked Kaya, after making sure the skittish Vaporeon was okay on his own for a bit. In all reality, it looked as if he had forgotten Bray altogether now that Caliga was out.

It didn't take Kaya long to finish with the Attic. Mostly it was just dusty as all get out. But thanks to his Pokemon's help, he had the job done and over with in less than an hour.
During his cleaning fit, though, he'd found something of interest. A piece of paper marking a mansion south of Hearthome. ~The Original Model~ was scribbled next to it. In even tinier script under that was written ~Porygon~.
The boy's heart swelled within his chest. "That's one of the few, non grass type Pokemon I really want..." he told his Pokemon. They all nodded and ran downstairs, retrieving their respective Pokeballs from a room hidden away in the corner. They returned shortly thereafter and handed them to their trainer. Kaya returned all of them, heading downstairs to retrieve his two closest friends in Pokemon's clothing.
Naofa and Mian were overjoyed to see him and nearly crushed him in a two way hug. "Hey, guys!" he greeted again, smiling hugely. "Let me tell Bray, and we're heading to the Pokemon Mansion near Hearthome. I'm on a Porygon catching quest." he told them, before turning to locate his lover.
It took him a while to find the dark haired male upstairs and when he did, he walked over and laid a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, I'm heading to Hearthome for a bit." he said quietly. "I'll be just on the other side of Mt. Coronet, so I'll join you there as soon as I'm done, kay." he informed, giving the younger male and tight hug and a gentle kiss before he headed out with a wave.
