The Wandering Maniac "True Glacian, true... but I am not saying killing is good, the dark side is better, more that... you cannot divide powers in dark or light. However, the more you use a power, the easier it becomes, but the more you can start to enjoy it too.. That is where most go wrong, they start to find killing fun. If you can kill those feelings, you can use virtually all force powers without falling. You won't have time to learn all of them, but in theory you could...without falling. I can teach you how to, if you wish. If you don't want to, it's fine with me...
Diamond, sorry but I forgot your name for a second... but I knew you were not the only one who might be interested... I see however you wish to learn, we will go trough the basics first... Go and sit next to Kari.. take one of the other boxes from over in that corner on the right, concentrate on it, and lift it up as she does. Concentration, meditation, is important. It gives you a longer lasting 'force pool', a clearer view in battle and investigation, and many more... try it..." "Yes my master..."Diamond knew this was his chance to impress his new master greatly and quickly moved over and sat down beside Kari. As he took his place he inhaled deeply and slowly exhaled and closed his eyes gently repeating to himself the very words that had been his foundation for all his known life. The Force is my ally and what a powerful ally it is At that he began to focus on the box. At first he was unsuccessful at lifting the box but on his second attempt he successfully lifted box high in the air and began to move it around the room. Although this was a basic move Diamond felt as if he had achieved a step on the path to being a strong Jedi. With a faint smile on his face he turned to Master Swex and nodded.

Looking over to the Jedi Knight, he bowed befor him and smiled. He could ask the fellow Jedi where he could find a Master to train him in the Jedi ways. He looked up and faced the Jedi. He nodded and answered the Jedi.
Good day brother Jedi, I am Aezon Gamad of Dantooine. I am in search of a master that I could honor by completing my Jedi Training. Do you know of any Jedi that would gladly take me as an apprentice? May I please get your name?
He looked at the Jedi and began to imagine his future as a Master to another Jedi. After completing his training as a Padawan he could take his own apprentice and tech him the ways of the Jedi. Aezon had everything planned out for his future. But plans usually change.

Meanwhile, Ashandi was oblivious to any mention of her name. The fireworks in the sky had entranced her. Never had she seen such a spetacular show in the sky, and therefore she had to find a good place to watch them from. Naturally, she found a nice, high, quiet spot, where she completely forgot about Jedi and training.
Well, almost completely forgot.
She wasn't sure how much time had past, but now she was a bit worried. She had misplaced all the friends she had made earlier, and now was frantically running around the temple to see where all the other new intiates had gotten too. It was when she was pattering down the long flight of stairs that she ran into one Master Volt.
"Oof!" she said, bouncing off the considerably larger being. She landed on her rump.
She stood up, mumbling a bit and rubbing her bottom when she saw who she had run into.
"Oh! I'm sorry masters! Please excuse me!" Her eyes were wide as she felt a bit nervous and stupid for running into such important people. These people were jedi. You couldn't just go on bumping into the protectors of peace!

Swet rolled down Kari's cheek ask she moved the box around the room. She finaly sat it down beside her. Moving the box so much took alot of concentration and now she was breathing a little harder then before. She turned to and looked up at Master Swex.
Master you said before that we could learn moves from the dark side without falling, and that we did we would become some of the strongest jedi in the order correct?
Kari paused for a moment, I mean no disrespect master, but wouldn't the idea of becoming more powerfull lead many to fall? Kari though hard about this, she never cared to be powerful, she just wanted to help wether it be a little or a lot. What Master Volt had told her about her heart being in the right place, made her only want to learn more, but dark side, she couldn't see how skills from teh dark side of the force could help someone.
I'm sorry master, I shouldn't be questioning what you say, it's just...... I feel uneasy about using dark side moves.Kari said as she turned her head to look down. She just wanted to understand more about how one could learn dark side moves without falling the idea confused her greatly.
I'm sorry master I should trust in what you say Kari said. She felt bad for not trusting Master Swex more, she should trust in what he has to say. All she was able to do was made herself feel stupid infront of a jedi master.

Aezon looked up from the ground and smiled. It was his chance. Even though his New Master was not expirienced in having a Padawan Apprentice, He would accept him. Aezon had waited for this moment for a lieftime, and now it had finally came. He had finally earned his Master.
Aezon bowed before his new Master and graciously smiled at his Master. He looked up and returned to his normal state. He took a deep breath and replied, I would be honored to be your Apprentice and you my Master. I appreciate this very much my Master. I have waited so very long for this day.
I will 'try' to not ruin your firstexpirience with an apprentice. I will be as humble to you as I am to my friends. I am Aezon Gamad, your new Apprentice. Aezon smiled as he looked at his Master. He would soon lear the ways of the Jedi. And learn to push away the Dark Side other than pulling it closer. Aezon's Journey had finally begun.

"I think I should have used another turn then powerfull Kari.. but with more knowledge of the dark side, it is easier to understand their secrets and strategies, you can find more wisdom from artifacts, more...way more.. A certain kind of power, in wisdom... I can't really think of a term for it, but it's not dark or anything... If you do not want to teach such powers however, I can just train you like any straight jedi. Nothing special, not bad either...
Go on Diamond, don't hesitate to take more boxes if you feel ready... the more you concentrate, the better"

Kari turned and looked at Master Swex.
So....by knowing a little of the dark side we will be less likely to fall. I'm sorry Master I shouldn't have questioned what you said, and I will be greatfull for everything you are willing to teach me.
Kari turn to go back to train her force powers on the box, but stoped and turned back to Master Swex.
Thank you for helping me understand.
Kari bowed, turned and sat down to return to her training. She took a deep breath and exhailed, closed her eyes and lifted the first box into the air. After a moment or two she then lifted another. The more she concentrated the easier it became.

Casia knelt in the garden, looking at an interesting insect. Must be some kind of beetle, She thought, watching the thing snip off a blade of grass. The sky was bright and the grass, as usual, was green. A faint rustle came from the bushes nearby. Intriuged, Casia crept over to the area the sound had come from, looking around for what had made the noise. There! A patch of seemingly unremarkable soil gave off a slight glimmer. A Crystal Snake! She had never seen one before and didn't even know they were here. Cautious but curious, she put out her hand, sending the snake calming thoughts like she had been taught. Picking it up, the snake coiled itself around her arm.

Now, my padawan, I would suggest you to explore the temple before we took a mission. Try to let the Force penetrate you. Try to feel it. If you feel ready, try to lift little object in the air. when trying stay allways calm. ((I am going away during two weeks so do has you want in the temple.))
*Peren smiled. He had made someone happy today.*

As the hum of a Jedi Starfighter died from landing, the top hatch opened and Nori steped out.
Beeep deeep the Astromech droid beeped.
T5 stay with the ship, Nori said turning to leave
Nori left the hannger, from a distance he could see the jedi temple.
Well at least I don't have to look for it
Nori walked down the street to the jedi temple. Along the way thoughts flew though his head, will today be the day he start his jedi training? Learn from book and holocrons can never teach what a real jedi can teach. As he walked he reached into his shirt and pulled out his neckless with a crystal on the end out, he help the crystal in his hand.
Today is the day, that my life will begin. Nori said as he kept walking, on his way to the jedi temple.

Diamond nodded to his master and turned to face the boxes.
As he faced the boxes he knew he could repeat the last exercise more easier this time but he knew that wasn't much of a test and decided to see if he could lift more than one box at a time.
Again Diamond closed his eyes and began to reach out with the Force to lift the box into the air. The box this time unlike before was lifted on his first attempt and he knew he was making progress in even just a simple action like that but he knew he had to be able to do much more to show he was ready for further instruction.
For several moments Diamond maneuvered the box around the room and then laid it down beside another box. To him this was a chance to show what he could really do.
As he took a deep breath and slowly exhaled he realised that he could do this and he must do this. He slowly then silenced his mind of all outside distractions and began his attempt to lift the two boxes at the same time...
The boxes began to move when Diamond reached out to move them but not much and he knew he could move them. He was only skimming the Force and knew if he reached deeper he could move the boxes with ease.
At that he began to concentrate more and suddenly felt his connection to the Force become far greater than it had been. Now he reached out again and the two boxes rasied high in the air with no problems at all. He now began to show off abit by moving the boxes in union and seperately but never once letting them slip.
Feeling his connection increased he thought he would attempt to lift a third box into the air while still moving the other two about...not even struggling he reached out for the third box and it elevated itself into the air.
Now he was controlling three boxes at the same time but moving them around seperately.
As he started to lay down the boxes he was immensely proud of himself but knew this was a trait of the Dark Side and quickly let go of it...but he still was pleased with himself and decided to take a few minutes break before starting his next exercises.

"I think that a thin path like that is best tread by an master and not a padawan like myself," said Glacian, "I have read about the Jedi Master Mace Windu who mastered the Vaapad lightsaber style, but most of the others turned to the dark side when they tried it. I think what your suggesting is similar, treading the line between light and dark without crossing, that would take control not everyone has, and that I am not absolutely sure I have it. Maybe later i will be sure, but it would be a disgrace to fall to the shadows that my parents died to protect me from." Glacian looked on as Diamond and the girl name Kari used the force to lift the boxes. Glacian had done such things with his parents, they had taught him much of the basic ideas and techniques and some things beyond that.
