Evil Lonewolf walked calmly through the crowd of people...until he was stopped by a strange woman clad in a crimson red outfit and purple short hair.



She stood in Lone's path and stared at him quietly. Lone stared back. He could feel the enormous power pulsing from her aura. "You're in my way, woman." He stated coldly. The woman didn't budge.

"Very well. If you won't move, then I shall cut you down where you stand and walk between both halves of your body." He smiled evily and drew his rapier. The sound of the thin blade scratching against the sides of the inside of his sheathe, caught the attention of the passerbys. The people near the woman and Lone began to scatter and run for cover, for they knew things were going to get dangerous. The woman didn't budge, however, the aura around her began to blur and both Lone and her began to get surrounded by this strange and eerie blue wall.



"What is this..?" Lonewolf looked around himself in a bit of a panic, not knowing what was going on.

They both suddenly dissapeared.

"Yeah..it does seem suspicious that we're doing this when the government or military could. Then again, its suppose to be a secret right? So..what is going on around here?" Kenji said out loud his thoughts, directing his second questions to himself. 'There is no way that any of this be a coincidence. There's something going on...there has to be.'

The rest of the trip was relatively quiet, with the sounds of urbanization surrounding the small group of teens. It felt like everybody was having different thoughts about what's going on; this feeling of apprehension hanging in the air. They reached the center of the park, where, not suprisely, Shadow was sitting on a wooden bench. Kenji couldn't see her facial expression since his eyesight was getting slightly worse over a long period of time but he felt that something was wrong.

"Hey, you alright Shadow?" asked Kenji in a small worried tone.

The dragoneer shook her head, "To tell the truth, no.," She saw the questioning look on the original trio's faces and sighed, "You don't need every single detail but something's big is coming to town. Get the idea?"

"We keep going on what we've been trying to do; teaching you how to defend yourself." Leon landed on the ground, brushing off the dirt off his sleeves, while looking at the teens, "What? A personal can't fly without getting get staring?" An akward silence followed it. "Sorry, bad joke. But getting to the point, I don't know what is going on just yet so the best choice is to keep going on what we've been doing...starting tomorrow since it's getting late and you all have school tomorrow. Same place at the same time ok?" Leon looked each of them sternly.

"Right..I better get going then. But..." Kenji said while fingering the handle of 'Fenrir', "How do I explain this to my parents?"

"You don't. Keep it hidden at all times. That sword is important."

Kenji slightly twitched at the answer, "Whatever. I'll try my best."

"You do that. Show's over so go home and get ready for tomorrow, all of you."

Finding that his makeshift rope was still there, Kenji sighed. "How the heck am I going to get up there? I have no upper body strength..no wait, strike that, I have none at all."

"Then use magic you dolt. Why did I pick such an idiot of a host?"growled the rune impatiently.

"I don't know how to fricking use it you, you...what should I call you?"

"Your master." it said in a smugly tone.

Mentally frowning, Kenji answered back in a patient thought, "No really. What should I call you?"

"Hm...you may call me Fang for now."

"Ok then Fang, how about you shut your trap and let me think?"

Fang went back into the depths of Kenji's mind grumbling something about rude bearers and something else that he couldn't hear. Grateful for the silence, he proceeded unto climbing the side of the wall into his room, hopefully not making a sound.

Finally making up there (with some scraps and scratched plus a few chosen curses here and there), he pushed over the window ledge, exhausted from exherting himself all night. "10:27...meh, forget homework, I'm going to sleep." Changing into a pair of shorts and a plain white t-shirt, Kenji dropped into bed, staring at the ceiling before falling asleep.

Kinera and Rayl had just gotten home not five minutes before the hordes arrived. "Night, bro," Kinera said going upstairs to her room. Homework? What homework? She was just interested in an appointment with her nice and cozy bed. She entered her room and shut the door behind her before she moved over to her desk. By chance she looked up and through the bedroom window. First she stared in disbelieve, "Aw man..." She turned and ran, flung the door to her room open and yelled down the stairs, "Rayl! Demons!" She quickly grabbed her old sparring sword before she ran down the stairs, leaping the last two, "I'm not joking, there are demons! Hundreds! They're invading the city! Come on we can't stay here," Kinera did not wait for her brother to respond before she grabbed his hand and pulled him out the back door. Suddenly others where aware of the demons as screams could be heard now from the poor people caught on the streets. She slipped the sword on to her back as she ran with Rayl to avoid getting caught in the first wave of demons.

((btw guys, I'm not controlling the demons. You guys are. They're all around lvls 5-10, so you guys should be able to fight them. Just have fun and be creative with your posts. 3nodding ))

"Outta my way!" Kenji raised his palm at a demon in front, a bright flame forming, "Fire!" He felt his left arm recoil upward from the force of the medium-sized fireball. It didn't look like it was that strong but considering the recoil, Kenji didn't really care about it at the moment. All that mattered was that he get these monsters out of the city. Dashing quickly as possible, he slashed wildly, side to side abandoning all form and stance, cutting down the hidious creatures like a weed-wacker to..well, weeds. Right arm exhausted, Kenji held Fenrir by both hands, gasping for breath as the demons came to surround him, deciding that they would get rid of the nuisance before proceeding to their dinner.

"Tch. This can't be the end.."

"Be quiet and relax." commanded Fang as Kenji felt something stirred inside of him. Suddenly he lost all feeling in entire body, as if he was put on anaesthetics.

"WHAT THE HELL?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?" Kenji mentally shouted in anger as well as panic. He didn't like this feeling of unfeeling; it was almost like he had no control over his body and that unnerved him greatly.

His right hand rose, palm faced up with fire gathering in a spiral. Instead of his own voice coming from his mouth, another spoke in much deeper voice on the border of growling. "Dancing Flames!"

Pillars of fire suddenly sprouted out of nowhere, surrounding Kenji and burning several demons as they 'moved' outward. ((think KH Sephiroth's fire attack that sucks you in))

Kinera sliced down another demon, she was saving her gun for now. For every one she sliced down another five more appeared in her path, like someone was playing cat and mouse. She held her sword in both hands looking around as more demons moved in and out of her perifial vision. "Not good," she thought readying herself then...

"Dancing Flames!"

At first she thought someone was attacking her from behind, then the demons scattered knowing when to "flee" from danger. "What the hell?" she turned letting her sword drop almost to the ground. "It has to be one of the other!" Kinera's face lit up at the sight as she took off towards the source.

Shortly after Kinera jumped out infront of Rayl did he lose sight of his little sister, "How is she so fast?!" Rayl gathered energy and jumped on top of a nearby building and began running rooftops so he could see where everything was happening. The demons were all coming from one direction and off in the distance Rayl could see a small glimmer. "Stop the cause, stop the effect." Rayl started running towards the edge of town. Rooftop to rooftop there wern't many monsters.

Suddenly a demon fell from the sky infront of Rayl. It landed on the building with such a force that it actually fell through the roof and down to a lower level. Before it could recover Rayl continyu'd to head to the edge of town. Soon from out of nowhere a demon jumped from street level to the top of the building. "Bomb Dewind!" Rayl gathered wind energy in his hand and aimed with very accute pinpoint accuracy. A white golfball size blast shot through the enemy and ripped a small hole in his abdomen all the way through his lower torso. Rayl landed on the ground just infront of the demon as it fell on top of Rayl, nearly dead.

By now the demon that had fallen through the roof had caught up to Rayl and upon closing in on Rayl put a small energy blast together. He took aim and shot at Rayl's head sticking out from the recovering demon above him. With great luck the demon's blast was not on target and deflect off the Naginata on Rayl's back and through the demon on top of Rayl. Finally scrambling out from under it Rayl withdrew his weapon. Rayl raced towards the demon and was the target of another incoming blast. With his weapon raised high Rayl sliced through the blast diverting two halves into nearby buildings and bring the blade down half way through the demon's skull.

Rayl retrieved his weapon and was soon back on the move towards the edge of town. This Naginata defelcted, then cut through a blast. I thought it was just medal though? Was it something I did by chance or is it a special weapon somehow?
