Mie-tanuki Heiharu Ace of Dark Blade ((Ive made the realization that i type better when im looking at the screen than when i look at the keyboard. Also ive become so good at typing i can type the letters on anything and know that i would be correct if i was actually typing. But eh....))
::Jaunus stood there with a blank stare for awhile. All of the sudden he exploded with laughter. A weirdo? Was that the best he could come up with? Jaunus did feel he pushed himself rather forcefully apoun the boy which was why he thought he was a weirdo. These were trivial matters in Jaunus' eyes and he decided to brush it off as a boys inability to put words with actions::
"A weirdo eh? Whatever. We should get to where you need to go pronto. I can feel the new cold fronts comming in and let me tell you they arnt exactly warm." "What are you, an old geezer with a battle scar that can feel the changes in the wind?" he asked slightly moodily. Truthfully, he didn't have anywhere to go, but he didn't want to admit that. He had left home with some small pocket money in hopes of finding something interesting - a puppy maybe. But instead this... this weirdo guy had found him. He usually didn't return home before... well, later, anyway. And he didn't really want this guy to know where he lived. "My young friend you are quite dense. Can you not tell?"
::Jaunus held his hand aloft and he caught a snow flake. He closed his hand and opened it to reveal a huge snow flake. He threw it into the air and in an instant it exploded into thousands of tiny ice crystals that froze the ground where they landed::
"I am not only a Geomancer but im also a Cryomancer. I thought the icy fist through the wall would have explained all of that. Anyway because of my powers i can sense stuff like that. Gods i knew most puffs were dense but damn"

Kalen gave a short laugh while pulling a blanket from a nearby basket. He glanced over at the mage and shook his head slightly in incredulity. "What on earth would possess you to be jealous?" he asked, unfolding the blanket as he propped his injured leg on one armrest, laying himself sideways between the chair's plush armrests. To Kalen, this apartment was... well, quite spacious. But despite his comfort in being alone, he couldn't help the feeling of the place being almost a bit too big for him. It almost made him miss R-- 'I don't miss him.'
The thought was silenced.
"... Hnn. Getting there," he murmured, looking back over at him. He shifted uncomfortably. Now that they were here... what was he supposed to say? Kalen's reserved nature didn't permit him the gift of fluent small talk with strangers. Sometimes things got blurted out. But most of the time, he just didn't know how to formulate awkward air into smooth words. "Do, uhm... well," he started with blatant awkwardness, "... So you're Skyy Lemonte?" The question was a repeat. But what else could he say?

Kaya shuddered slightly as Cameron passed him by. He bother looking up he remembered the simple feeling in the air around him. It was cold this time though. The air around him seemed to grow colder, almost bone chillingly cold. He got up, discarded the remainder of his now half frozen latte, and left before anyone noticed the faint snow that had started to fall around him. That hadn't been the Necromancer that caused him to shudder, it was his own Cryomancy getting out of hand again."Dammit!" he yelled into the city air. He walked the remainder of the way to his apartment and quickly unlocked the door and went inside. "I have so gotta find someone that can teach me to control this." he muttered to himself as he sat down on the end of his bed and flopped back on it.

Haides_Dementia Chainer "Yeah....Thanks....and let him alone, please, I'm sure he didn't do it on purpose....no harm done....no harm, no foul..." Kuno said with a smile as he put his backpack back on his back. Who in the hells? he thought. "You sure...?" Shiyaa said, then smiled down at Kiyo, " You could learn from him..." Ruffling Kiyo's hair, he looked at Kuno," I need to get back to work now, anyway...." With a small wave, he walked over to the man who had bumped into Kuno, smiling a false smile as he asked the man if he needed anything.

Cole lifted his head and looked at the man "What did you say?" he asked softly. I bet he's one....one of those necromancers or homeomancers....I bet he's here to kill me.... "Are you a mage?" he asked emotionlessly, not caring what others thought about him. If they want to send me to the asylum again, I'll escape....just like last time.... He smiled, showing his fangs, and looked into the other's eyes.

Kuno smiled slightly at the Kiyo. That guy....who does he think he is asking questions like that? Is he insane? Kuno thought, hearing the new arrival speaking to Shiyaa. He quickly prepared to protect Shiyaa, just in case the new arrival were to attack him.

Levvy Normally Leif would've noticed that his feet felt just slightly slick, but today the snow was interfering with his normally keen senses. And the fact that he'd just had a rather shakey encounter. He shook off the added chill like a shaggy dog shaking off water, the effect added to by the bit of fur showing around the collar of his soft leather coat. The back of his head was burning like it tended to do when someone watched him too close. He got a lot of stares, people staring at his hair, his eyes, his face, his everything. He got used to it, but it was still a bit unsettling. Just to be sure, he took a long, winding way back home, leading up over building roofs and through fire escapes. He longed for the sun anyway. It warmed his weary, up-all-night bones. Finally, he slid into his apartment through the roof hatch, locking it tightly behind him, then locking his cozy apartment up tight as well. He blamed his paranoia on his lack of sleep, then curled up on his leather couch. Toasty. Gervain frowned. Was it just him or was this man being overly cautious? Perhaps he suspected something. He was finally led to the man's home - to find that he had climbed in through a window. He was now deffinately quite irked - but it would be worth it. Unawaked mages this old were not very common... and their corpses were wonderfully preserved. The spirit had fallowed the man in, slipping under his feet to make absolutely sure that it was not seen. It would follow the man everywhere... until Gervain called it back or Leif - or Gervain - died. But Gervain wouldn't die. A smirk spread across the Necromancer's lips and he stepped forward across the roof, unlocking the window with Dark magic. He opened it silently and left it - he would, after all, need to get out afterwards. He moved quickly, stealthily - like a panther slinking across the lands, silently moving in upon its prey. He hand was at the man's throat, knife out, only a few second after he had entered the room, the fingers of his other hand moving to grip his shoulder.

"I am not only a Geomancer but im also a Cryomancer. I thought the icy fist through the wall would have explained all of that. Anyway because of my powers i can sense stuff like that. Gods i knew most puffs were dense but damn" ((And your character is revealed... in the super crowded, super stressed streets of New York. And other people probably heard him. And see the ice. And he thinks Apple is dense? xD;; Well... okay... he is, but... he's not quite stupid enough to reveal himself in a place full of people. Mages are VERYVERYVERY paranoid. If they're not, they die... or get put in asylums. Or go on drugs. Or all of the above. I think I should probably put more imfasis on this on the first post. D": ))
Apple watched, dark eyes widening. He might be daft... but he wasn't stupid enough to use magic in a such a people-infested area. Hopefully... hopefully no one had seen. He goggled at the other for a moment and then, remembering himself, he shut his mouth. "Well... that's fine for me to know, but what about all the other people here?" he asked, gesturing around themselves. If anyone had seen that... "It's not safe... not safe to do those things..." he murmured, a pout set deeply in his lips. He looked almost like an injured puppy.

He hand was at the man's throat, knife out, only a few second after he had entered the room, the fingers of his other hand moving to grip his shoulder. Leif snarled like some great beast, all of the muscles in his body rippling into action at once, fueled by adreniline and more than a hint of fear. His eyes caught the flash of a knife. No, he wasn't about to let such paltry things as metal take him down. Not when we can bring this all crumbling down... His power whispered, rolling in the back of his head. It was so strong, he would've vomited if he had the time. But the young man wasn't ready to give into that just yet either. In rapid succession he blocked Gervain's attacking arm, then his opposite fist snapped up towards the attacking mage's nose. He used his grip on the knife weilding hand and spun around, using his own body weight to throw the other to the ground. Thanks mom, for paying for judo lessons, he probably would've thought, if adreniline hadn't already taken over. He already knew it was the stranger from the hospital. He could feel it from the way his power stirred, like recognizing like. <********!" He roared, the strange sensation of something breaking like a damn inside him snapping him out of his attack. He grabbed his head and screamed, a succession of snaps and a constant rumble rolling in the back of his head. Yet, it wasn't really in his head at all. The ground was shaking, the support beams for his ratty apartment building bending and nearly about to snap. ((I think I might've gone a bit overboard Oo wink )

((All's fair is war and love Necromancy magic.))
THe man's powers were awakening much more quickly and violently than Gervain had predicted. Cr*p. He was on the ground, pain throbbing through his body, but he was equal to that. He was up and away from the other, somehow managing to find firm footing on the quaking floor, almost too quickly for the other to follow. If he had nothing else, he had his speed and what strength he posessed, which was not at all a small amount. A sound, like a mixture of hiss and growl, slithered from between his lips in time with his panting breaths. He found his chance when the other grabbed his own head - trauma from awakening power - and let out another two spirits, their forms materialising and condencing even furthur every second. The entities seemed to draw breath and color from the spaces around them - Breathless and Listless. Gervain had bound these spirits to his will long ago and they were particularly strong and reliable - two of the most tangible souls he posessed. The spirits - one blacker than a bottomless pit, the other a shimmering wave of grey - moved towards Leif, their hunger for the Life they themselves could never have growing stronger with each moment they spent in their material forms.
((Annnd... now we know why I never do fight scenes. Because I suck. Most majorly. xD;;; ))

((Annnd... now we know why I never do fight scenes. Because I suck. They clattered together around Leif, ungodly loud, a thunderous roar of materials drifting and shifting around him like a lazy tide. Raw power surrounded the stone and wood, leeching off the energy of the natural objects. The power dribbled towards the spirits: life and death were a cycle after all, earth gives life and then recycled through the power of death. That rolling purring power inside him wanted to eat the spirits whole. Leif was far away now, his subconcious taking care of him, saving him, wrapping him in a thick cacoon of incalculable power.

The spirits, however, had no intention of being eaten. Although now fully substancial, they were also perfectly maleable and were able to bend, twist, stretch and shrink to avoid everything the Geomancer could throw at them. Gervain watched and waiting, searching for a time when the other was sufficiently distracted by the spirits... Listless, the black one, was in front of the other mage while Breathless, wreathed in black, was circling towards the back. In a whirl of twisting motion, both spirits' arms reached out, joining together in a stream of consciousness that resulted in a moment, two moments... three... where everything was completley still and grey. It was like being blind, but still having the last imprint of vision on the retinas. It was then that Gervain chose to move, sliding through the endless silence - a dark blotch of movement in the monochrome stillness. His hands were back around the other's neck, knife forgotten, almost before the three moments ended. His grip was surprisingly strong - but, then again, it was not only his own. He had drawn power from yet another spirit - a Mordout, a soul that had mutated to become parasitic. Now Gervain was sucking the energy from the parasite. How ironic.
((Annnnndddd... more suckiness. xD;;; And g'night.
Don't worry, I'll be on much more this weekend!! ><))

Wordless noise poured out of Leif, but it wasn't coming from his mouth. The power itself screamed. It refused to die so soon after being awakened. It had been waiting so long to be released, to feel fresh air on its earthy hide. Leif's pale eyes were closed, but his hands lifted, reached around Gervain's arms, grabbed his face, and pressed inhumanly strong thumbs into completely exposed eye sockets. Brick and floorboards crashed down from the tornado-like shield onto Gervain's head, one after another until there was a bright patch of sky above them and to the right were the side of the building had been torn away. Those things flowed off of Leif like water, not even leaving a scratch on the smooth leather of his jacket. ((No worries, I have class most of the day and just post at night most of the time. Cause I work in the pc lab and I get all the internets I want XD))

((x3;;; I'm a school child... no job. Can't even drive yet. xD;;; I need to take driver's ed this year.... I'm just having trouble getting on because I'm busy and my brother needs the compy for college stuff.))
Gervain hissed as his exposed eyes were attacked. THe majority of the pain was siphened off - transfered to the Mordout - but that did not mean he felt nothing. His skull was bursting with supressed pain from both that and the fractured bricks and boards that crashed down on him. Sharp nails - nails much longer, stronger and keener than any human nails should be - dug into Leif's neck as his other hand detatched, searching until it found - or rather, caught, with the sharp reflexes of a Necromancer - a large, hard brick. He brought it down on the base of the other's skull, a grin spreading across his lips as he repeated the action over and over, each time hearing a new and even more satisfying grating, popping noise.
