Chloe and Lantis landed on the outskirts of Fuchsia, the Latios returning to his ball once the pair had deemed that things were safe to do so. She found herself on the wooded part of the tail end of Cycling Road, but easily realized that things in the city were far from normal.
For one, even where she was at outside the city, there were no sounds from Pokemon. The air was dead, still, and surprisingly dry.
Chloe made her way towards town carefully. While Brayden's message hadn't given any clues on what had happened to the city, he had said things were bad.
Chloe just didn't realize how bad until she passed between two trees and stepped onto nothing but dust.
The dragon trainer found her breath caught in her throat as she looked around, seeing the wasteland that Fuchsia had become. It was hard to conceive that this was once the town it had once been. There was literally no sign of anything but dust and rocks.
Feeling a bit disheartened, Chloe made her way through the landscape. It took a while, but she eventually made her way down to the water's edge, if nothing more than for a change oc scenery.
It was there that she spotted Brayden, along with a few others that she recalled seeing in Celadon. Chloe joined up with them, offering a hopefully reassuring smile to Brayden.
"Hey, you rang?"

Post 0/2 for Wild Pokemon-ing there then..." Kage finished, appearing at the outskirts of Fuchsia so very suddenly. Fira had hugged up against his leg, she seemed to shiver in fear of something that was there, or what wasn't there. He had peered about curiously as there was no sounds what-so-ever, it was completely the opposite from what everything was like when he ventured through the Viridian Forest. In spite of what fear gripped his charmander, she still followed close to him though rather sheepishly as she kept very close to him. Once he passed the same two trees that Chloe had minutes ago he understood why. "Nothing but dust....how could something like this have happened?" he whispered aloud, asking no one in general. Scooping up Fira into his arms, he set her on his shoulder and ventured deeper into the wasteland of what was once Fuchsia. Minutes of walking felt like hours, as there was no sign of life in the dusty landscape. All signs of hopelessness seemed to vanish as the waters edge came into view, and with it was the group of trainers he had hoped were the ones Brock had mentioned. As he had approached them, he held up his right hand to greet them, "You guys must be the trainers that Brock mentioned."

Brayden saw Chloe as she approached, smiling. It made him feel a bit better to have her with them. After all, he'd never been on a venture like this when something troubled the world without Chloe by his side.
"Hey. Thanks for coming," he offered sincerely, "I hope we can find a way to undo all this," he motioned to the dust with a slight wince.
The addition of another trainer was a welcome surprise, as Brayden nodded to the new boy.
"Hi, I'm Brayden," he greeted with a smile, "I was in Pewter a little while ago," he confirmed, although he wasn't sure if he was indeed one of the ones Brock had mentioned, "Hopefully things there have calmed down a bit since we were there."
'And since my trainer's such a nitwit, I'm Ariadne,' the Gardevoir next to Brayden supplied her own introduction mentally.

Chloe offered a smile as well to the newcomer, "Heya, I'm Chloe," she greeted. She brightened considerably seeing that the other boy had a Charmander with him.
"She's so cute!" Chloe exclaimed, unable to help it, "I started with Charmander also. I don't have Kaze with me now, though," she explained, "I had to raise some of the other Pokemon I had caught."
"I have to admit, I haven't been doing much to help out lately with the stuff that's been going on. But I was in Celadon for a short while to help out with the Pokemon that attacked the town. But I decided to join back up with Bray and the others to help out a bit."

"We're definitely glad to have you with us," Brayden nodded.
"As for filling you in, I don't mind doing that. Although its a bit of a long tale to tell." Brayden launched into the story, hoping that it would clue Kage in a bit on what was going on.
"A few months ago, some trouble started up. It turned out that Lance from the Kanto's Elite Four was planning on reforging a blade from Sinnoh legend. It holds great power, and because of that power, it was split into several pieces, and scattered throughout the regions, guarded by the legendaries."
"Well, Lance manged to get all the pieces, and reforged the blade at Stark Mountain. Since then, its been fairly quiet. But a few weeks ago, strange things started happening. You may have heard on the news about the climate changes in weird places like the Seafoam Islands, and Iron Island just up and vanished. I'm not entirely sure, but I think that was due to the fact that Lance was testing the power that the sword had. More remote locations seemed to be targeted, so that was my guess, anyway."
It was a few days ago when all chaos broke loose in Kanto, with the invasions and such. I got word from my parents here that Team Rocket also invaded the town. Soon after that, the cities were blocked off by some sort of barrier. I... haven't heard anything from them since then, so I'm not sure what happened to cause all this," Bray motioned to the dusty landscape that was once Fuchsia.
"Emiri and Aku" he motioned to the two who were with the group, "learned while in Blackthorn from Clair that Lance has an island off the coast in the southern Kanto sea. Currently, we're trying to figure out a way to get to the island, but... we're coming up with a blank thus far."

Kaya arrived just in time to hear Alex's suggestions, riding in on the magick fueled winds. "Unfortunately, neither of those would work." he voiced as he stepped up behind his husband. "Dialga lives outside of time, while Palkia exists in a dimension all it's own for the purpose of preventing their fighting and the destruction of all of existence." he proided, debunking the plan.
"And Rayquaza never leaves the Ozone layer unless it's sensed someone or something breaching the barriers of it's domain." looking southward, he frowned. "I can sense the power emanating from that direction. "I can almost feel Lance's power coming from the south. Has anyone checked the docks?" He surveyed the landscape as he pondered other options. Perhaps Rem could use his Wish powers to grant a wish for transport? Or perhaps they could enlist the power of Kyogre? But no, no one but himself knew he remembered. Well, himself, Mian and the All Mother.
It seems he's found more power than we knew about. The blade's previous power would never have been able to do this. I can feel a deep foreboding. Something big is going to go down and end this, once and for all. His thoughts seemed a bit muddled at first, but he knew the depth of the crud they were in at the moment.

Her mood dampened a bit as she turned her attention back to where Fuchsia had been.

Emiri had been watching as trainers from everywhere began to appear, feeling slightly comforted by their growing numbers. She listened intently as Aku relayed the information they knew, and was grimaced to be reminded of it. All the while, she had been clutching Gyarados' pokeball, not really knowing if he could be able to help, but then Aku mentioned a mode of transportation, as Alex was talking about Dialga.
"It's not that easy Alex," she told him. "Dialga, sure is Dialga, but he can't just call for help like that. If we were to get the help of other legendaries, imagine what kind of trouble there would be having the master of time and space in the same place. Could you imagine the turmoil if something happened to them? I wouldn't be able to live with myself," Emiri explained, only trying to keep Dialga safe, almost not realizing she was talking about Dialga in such a central place. She almost wondered if she should bring out Dialga again.
