As she awoke she found Soulscour sitting at the foot of the bed in a chair, not particularly watching her, but it was obvious he had been. He had quickly surveyed the house and noted several of the small intracacies, and the many empty rooms. He had even shaped one to his own will, a room where no single angle was the same, everything was askew. As he noticed her sit up his gaze fell on her as his face quickly became bright and lost all signs ofthe beast within,"That was a short nap. I thought I should be in here just in case there was something wrong, because I certainly don't remember how you got downstairs, but I'm not sure if I like most of the possibilities."

*Blinking.. she peered at him through that half asleep haze you get, when you've just woken up. Slumping her shoulders, Kalie looked at him a while longer not saying anything..*
"okay.."
*Coming to an educated decision, she looked at Soulscour one last time, really hard, trying to make the same person was really just sitting there, at the end of their bed. Taking the bed sheets with one hand, she ran the other back through her hair before hiding under the blankets trying to go back to sleep.. some situations were just to unnerving to wake up to...*

As she went to hide under the blankets Soulscour stood and left the room, glancing back before stepping outside, cursing to himself under his breath. He moved away from the door and went to the room with the stereo, closing the door and fiddlings with the controls, not completely sure how it was supposed to work completely. Soon the small room seemed to be falling apart at the seems as Let the Bodies Hit the Floor began blasting, though mostly blocked out outside the room, save for some of the major vibrations.

*Having given up on a dreamless sleep, only seconds after Soulscour closed the door behind him to retreat farther into the house, Kalie roused herself from the confines of the bed, taking careful precaution to tip toe across the bedroom and into the master bath. A warm spray erupting from the silver shower head as her foot steps ceased to be heard from the floor below. Closing her eyes against the flow of water, Kalie pressed her forehead to the wall just below the gentle spring, the dreams of the hours before swirling down the drain with the water that ran from her body.*
*Stepping out from the shower, she paused in front of the bathroom mirror, the towel tightly wrapped around her torso, leaving everything to the imagination as her fingertips swept over the reflection before her. Casting her eyes from the image Kalie shook her hair free, the droplets caught up within the midnight strands raining down on the smooth surface while some remained trapped as dew within a spider's web.*
*Brushing all thoughts away, Kalie quickly redressed and hung the towel to dry. Exiting the bedroom, the vibrations shaking the house from below caught her attention as she peered over the nearest banister.. and began to descend the stairs. Following the heavy base through the halls, she stopped before the a door..her hand fainting moving on the woodwork with the vibrations coming from the speakers within.*

The door seemed almost ready to shake off his hinges, the music within having changed to Step Up by Drowning Pool, possibly turned up even louder than before. Within Soulscour was ******** up the place as best he could, throwing small fireballs at the walls and watching the walls regenerate.

*Drawing her forefinger along the door's surface, she watched almost curiously..and slightly disturbed as a tendril of steam rose up from where the tip of her digit met the wooden surface, the heat contained inside the room having spread throughout it's framework as it was bombarded with fireballs and anything else he opted to do throw at it..*
*Coughing faintly, Kalie withdrew her hand and turned walking away from the door, in appearance.. somewhat quickly and heading in the direction of the kitchen. Having a sense that it may be better to not disrupt him...*

After some time the tumult within ceased as the room seemed to bow outwards, the walls shuddering under the force of some powerful explosionof both fire and ice, warping the temperates in the room, and surrounding areas, to something near normal. As he exited the room Soulscour was loudly singing Cold Hard b***h to himself.
Out upon the fields the wind began to kick up as each and every last blade of the Razor Grass seemed to take on an orange hue. Blue arcs of energy began darting across the plains and small blue flames began to rush across the plains, ravaging everything. Slowly the blue flames grew and started to become a towering inferno of white flame.

*Becoming startled by the explosion, Kalie dropped the pan she had been holding, having been searching through on the cupboards. The fairly large pot spinning on its side after landing on the floor with a clang, only to create another when it finally stopped and fell over on itself. Slowly crouching down she took hold of it again, and began to warily move across the room as she stood back up... *

Soulscour came into view holding a small microphone forged of the red energy, slightly amplifying his voice,
"...I don't wanna hold hands and talk about our little plans, alright!
Cold hard b***h
Just a kiss on the lips
And I was on my knees
I'm waiting, give me
Cold hard b***h
She was shakin' her hips
That's all that I need
Gonna check her out
She's my latest attraction..."
It was then that he noticed Kalie, quickly moving over to her and wrapping his arm around her, "I can't tell what it is, but I was thinking of you and then I went to go listen to music and Let the Bodies hit the Floor started playing, then Step Up, then Cold Hard b***h, I think the house is trying to tell me something."

*Shifting the pot into one hand, so it rested against the hip farthest from Soulscour, Kalie smiled coyly while turning her head to the side, her gaze falling across his face from below.*
"And that would be...?"
*Her fingertips gently weaving through his hair as they moved to lightly brush the side of his face where it was breeched by the harsh scar as she turned into his arms.*
"How did this happen.. I can't remember.."

He almost seemed to ignore the first question when he heard the second, his eyes becoming an even duller shade of grey than the constant fog that had settled there. He seemed diastant as he spoke, but a seething hatred and anger was held within, "It was Torment, he did it to me...in our first fight...the b*****d made a comment about you and I dropped my guard...." He seemed to be choked with rage and emotion at that point, unable to continue.

*Grimacing, she nodded, and placed her hand to Soulscour's lips to hush him, hoping it would do the same for the emotions boiling inside him, as she leaned up and gave his cheek a comforting kiss.*
"I'm sorry.. I asked.."
"He'll experience never ending pain and suffering, I'm sure.. for hurting you."

He leaned his head against hers and almost hung on her, feeling almsot weak. He ran a hand through her hair in the back as he spoke, "He haunts me Kalie...every day. I can't stop thinking about him. He tried to steal my life and kill me once before...I keep thinking he'll come back to try it again. Even the thought of him tears at my soul. Its like I can't escape him...."
Nearly the entire Razor Fields was now up in flames, burning bright and white like magnesium exposed to air. A single figure slowly made his way through the inferno, great rocks, chunks of the Palace above striking all around him, batting one's heading for him away with a flurry of elemental energies as Hellballs exploded upon them. The being seemed to be nothing but blue energy as he continued on his path, heading right for the home he had built for himself and Kalie, now defiled by the presence of the evil that he had expelled from himself, all to better himself for his love.

*Holding him tightly with the one free arm she had, Kalie sighed softly shifting her forehead to the side, just enough for their lips to lightly meet. Her lashes settling in a fan above her ivory cheek as her bottom lip lingered against his before she drew it back to speak.*
"Then kill him, darling..I'll even help.."

"I can't let you..I..." He paused and shuddered slightly, continuing with a sigh, "This is another one of those things where I can't tell you no isn't i...he's here..." He twitches slightly as the flames directly outside quench themselves and he glances towards the nearest windown. He raised his hand towards the hall and a trident flew down the hallway and into his hands, it appeared almost to be made of ice, but a flame seemed to burn within, "Just stay close then..."
Outside Torment had reached the edge of the flame and had not stopped. With a blast of energy it began....
